Hey guys, I just recently inherited a laptop from my grandfather and I have no need for it, so I sell to you guys. :)

From what I can tell it's an IBM ThinkPad, the problem is it has no operating system, whether that matters or not I don't know, I'm sure you can just install Windows or something. Because of that it means nothing is actually on the computer, no files, nothing. I don't know anything about megabytes and gigabytes or whatever, but if you're interested just shoot me a PM or reply here and I'll do my best to get as much information out of it as possible.

PIII 900MHz (256KB), 128MB RAM, 20.0GB HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 8x-2.3x DVD, Intel combo, TV out, Li-Ion battery, Win98SE

That's what it looks like.

Oh and it's running Pentium III.

I would like to cash for it, but I'm always looking for trades too so look at the my wish list to see what I'm looking for. Thanks.

If you could look at the underside of the laptop, there should be a seven-digit identifier on the underside, that is 4 numeric digits, a dash and three alphanumeric digits.

Something like 2366-41U . If you could find that, I could check the IBM site and tell you what it had in it when it was built. So that way, you could know more info about what it is.
Wow, thanks!

The number is - 2647-M4U
Here's a link to the support page for it:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/quickPath.do?quickPathEntry=2647-M4U

And the specs on it, as it came out of the box are:
PIII 900MHz (256KB), 128MB RAM, 20.0GB HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 8x-2.3x DVD, Intel combo, TV out, Li-Ion battery, Win98SE

It might have more RAM in it than the 128MB, though that's what it came with. If you go into the BIOS (F1 when the system is powered on), you can see how much RAM it has. Max RAM it could have was 512MB, if I remember right.
