um this is my first time here...i was just wondering are you willing to be to sell or trade your shin megami-devil summoner and or Suikoden Tactics for the PS2?

NOTE ON IMPORT PS2 GAMES: None of these are GH, all are like new, and I won't be taking GH prices just because a GH version is coming out. These are out of print original non-GH versions and I know their values.

A lot of people have asked why I'm dumping my collection. There are a few reasons of varying importance to me.

• I have a two bedroom condo that looks like a storage unit. My roommate doesn't care but I'm so sick of having to step around bins and boxes and bookcases of games.

• I get girls into my room and without fail get the questions, "Are these all yours?", "Umm are you into video games?", and "Did you know playing video games decreases sex drive in men?"

• I make quite a bit of money in my regular job and side business. The hemorrhaging in my income from buying games and systems and collecting these things is making me feel irresponsible.

• From the past 12 months, I have opened less than half of the new games I've bought. I've played less than a quarter I've opened. I've beat less than a tenth I've played. Keep in mind most of those were fighting games.

There are more reasons but these are some of the bigger contributing factors.

Joined that day and has no posts from what I can tell. Niiiiiice...

Closed a bunch of outstanding offers today (check the updated list) and am going to have to probably make two trips to the post office. My little Acura can't hold THAT much! :lol:

Down to.. *drumroll* .. 14 PMs in my inbox. Cleared out 136 today. The other 14 are ones that either are asking for individual prices on 50+ titles or asking for lists of games that are entirely spoken for on pending deals that I'm awaiting payment on. I'll try to get to those asap.

Thanks again to the CAGs that have come back for seconds, thirds, and fourths !

I have little bursts of time to actually go research prices on these things. I rarely if ever look values up on actual offers because I have an idea on most of their values. If I get a feeling that it's way too low, I check it out. For those who give me a list and tell me to quote them, I have no choice so here's what I do:

I look up completed eBay auctions for the game. * What I do is try to find a baseline value before shipping that's representative of the low-median value people are getting in one-item auctions. I take that amount and make that my value including shipping and paypal fees. My individual item prices include shipping and paypal fees **.

If a CAG has made an offer and I've countered and they haven't responded in a couple of days ***, those items become fair game on a first reply, first deal basis. That gives me a price to give to other subsequent PMs asking for the same game.

If your total offer is less than $12, I most likely won't take it at this time. It has nothing to do with the value of the game but rather the value of my time to pack it and ship it. I know I have a lot of cart-only GBA games but I'm not to a point where I can concentrate on offers for $2 shipped. After this initial crazy phase, I'll start doing those deals.



* - I don't recommend you do that first because, of the offers I've received based on eBay values, most have actually been higher than I would have asked.

** - I mention paypal fees every time because I hate them and they're raping me because I have a business account and get charged fees on EVERY transaction, regardless of your funding source.

*** - I'm aware of how entirely unfair it is that I take a week to get back to you but then only give you a few days to get back but you're not fielding 150 offers every 3-4 days and I need to get this stuff out of my condo. I already have two other jobs and I don't need this as a third. :mrgreen:

For anyone who actually reads the thread beyond the first post, I have a question.

I have some official Nintendo brand cases I bought and never used. I have about 10 white Wii game cases (for Wii Sports, etc.), 10 GC, 150 GBA / DS :)roll: I know), and I *think* I have some GC dual disc cases too. If you're wondering why, go here.

Are these things you all might be interested in if I posted them? Maybe especially since the GBA carts are cart-only mostly? Don't PM me responses please, just post here please.

Very soon on the DC action. I made 5 shipments yesterday and am making another 10 today. That leaves 10 for tomorrow and I should be caught up. The post office stopped me at 5 yesterday because it took them an hour to do five and they closed.

I replied to the 180 or so message with offers in them first, in the order they were received. If someone after you gave a noticeably better offer, I sent you a chance to match or pass. If you haven't received a reply yet on your offer, it means that some or all of the games you're asking about have pending offers and I can't give you a definitive answer until those come through. Also, since my PM box is hovering around full at all times right now, I have to clean out my sent items every two or three messages to keep it from disallowing them.

If you send me an offer for one game for $2 shipped, I probably haven't responded yet. Point is I don't have time to go to a shipping location, package and wrap a single game, and ship it for a couple of bucks. Time, materials, gas, shipping, and the game itself are worth more than $2 to me.
