This laptop is an excellent, powerful machine.
It's great for watching DVDs or any other movies, It's also great for playing games, and/or editing movies or any other type of work.
You get the laptop, a free carrying case, an extra brand-new battery (which gives you a battery life of around 4 hours or more with only that battery; the old one will probably give you 1.5 hours) the power supply/charger, and the DVD drive upgrade for free. I'll also reinstall Windows XP with your name/organization for free. Laptop will come in original box with all original documents/media. It will also come installed with the recovery disc, so it'll be like it just got out of the factory. Price is $850. That's a steal for a 2.8GHz laptop with Hyperthreading. If you have any other offers, though, let me know. I need to get rid of this thing.

* This laptop was bought around 2 years ago at an insane price of over $2,000. It has been well taken care of, being placed in the laptop case whenever it wasn't in use. It comes from a smoke-free home and has been in the hands of a very careful owner. That laptop case will be included in the auction.
* When the original DVD drive died on me (manufacturer's defect) I bought a new (and better) one, the slot-loading DVR-K06. It works much better, even better than most desktop DVD drives. (worth $80)
* I have also opened up the CPU compartment in order to clean it out and apply new thermal compound over the processor and heatsink. It ran a little faster after that.
* I bought a replacement battery around a year ago that I never ended up using ($100 value). It'll be included in this auction.
* And of course, it comes with the original power cable.
* It also comes with the original box that I bought it in at COMPUSA, making it a great gift!!
The only thing that prevents this laptop from being BRAND-NEW are some minor cosmetic blemishes:
On the left side, above the left speaker, the plastic is a bit discolored. Only noticeable at an angle.
On the right side, to the left of the right speaker, the plastic is faded to white.
Halfway up the screen near the left border is a light group of pixels around the size of 4x4 pixels.
Very hard to see.
These minor blemishes do nothing to affect the performance of this computer.
