So I was building a file server for my apartment and it turns out that Gigabyte boards have a severe problem working with LSI Logic RAID controllers. Dirty bastards. Anyway, my loss is your gain. Board has only been used for about 24 hours.
Also got a set of extra memory I didn't need. Spaced what I thought I had in my secondary gaming rig and turned out I didn't need it. Already opened the boxes but the memory has never been used, except to put them into my machine to verify they do work. I have one of these 4GB kits. Before you ask, the memory is not what is needed for the Gigabyte board, it takes DDR3.
