Yeah, it is awesome both as a monkey maker or as a regular router, and for anyone who's interested, it can use linksys firmware (thanks to Rouzuki).

The Ethernet port on my laptop has been dead for a long time. So I always keep La Fonera in my laptop bag and it gets me online any time I'm somewhere that doesn't have wifi (hotel, friends place, etc).
Its small and light enough that I don't even notice it until I need it. I'm practically talking myself into buying it just to have a backup...
