I recently stumbled upon this while just browsing around Amazon so if you're still looking for the Futurama dvds but can't find them at your Walmart or don't have a Sam's Club nearby, you can check this out. I'm not sure if it's just a temporary price drop so I don't know when it ends. Here's the links:

I picked up seasons 1-3 at BB for $19.99and 4 was sold out. Sale ends today. I might pick up 4 from amazon. The Simpsons dvds on sale at BB last week. My Matt Groening collection is getting complete.

Anyone know why the prices are coming down all of a sudden? Glad I waited on Futurama. I dont have Walmart of Sams Club by me so this is the best price I have seen it for.
 
I picked up Seasons 2 and 4 at BB, and had to buy season 3 online. Although many probably already know this, I should mention that in general Amazon changes their prices to match the sales at major retailers so if you can't find something at the store, pick it up online.

I think this is a universal price drop for all four volumes, since both Best Buy and Wal-Mart sell it for that price, and now Amazon does as well.
 
so. . .again, I'll ask the question. . .why is volume 2 so freakin' expensive compared to the rest? It seems like the going low price for volume 2 is $27. Even at BB.

what gives?

I picked up 1, 3 and 4 at Sam's Club for $17.99 ea a couple months ago and I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal on 2.
 
Thanks OP! I bought vols 3 & 4 again (cause my lame friend borrowed (ie. stole) my other copies).
 
I had to put my cheapass instincts aside and buy each Futurama set on the days they were released. I've probably watched these discs as much as all my other sets combined, and that's saying something. For $19.99, these sets are the all-time world champion no-brainer, IMHO.
