It's another one of those after hours online-only sale at Future Shop. Starting August 14th at 5 pm to the 15th at 10 am. Pretty underwhelming with their 10% off select games and accessories, but they do have the old (non-Motion+) Wii for $150.

You can buy points directly from Microsoft via Live Marketplace, $7.25 for 500 pts which comes out to $0.01495/pt. Buying one of those 1400 pts cards at a store for $20 and it comes out to $0.01428/pt. So yes, it's cheaper to buy it at the store and you can also take advantage of sales.

That sucks... Was hoping to get some cheap PSN cards... haha
It does suck, but look on the bright side, our Canadian PS Store prices are at parity with the US PS Store. Live Marketplace prices are the same, but we pay more for our points. Microsoft never adjusted their points value despite our dollar raising in the past few years.
