I don't know why Viva Pinata dropped so fast, but Fuzion Frenzy 2 bombed horribly.

Edit: A quick check on walmart.com reveales that they are now $29.82, which means that you should be good to go on pricematching (I avoid Walmart B&M like the plague)

Edit 2: Added Amazon.com links, which is your best bet if you don't mind waiting for the shipping... Let's hope for a DOTD for either one of these games to become something like $19.99-22.99...

F.E.A.R. is also $49.99 but I can wait.
You are going to wait quite a while because the ps3 version is coming out soon, thus this will delay any price drop in the future.
I think he means that it's clearanced everywhere. People are reporting finding it for around $10 at Target.
Ah, IC. Thanks.

Also, a bit off topic: Anywhere accept competitors coupons? I just called walmart, and they DO NOT. Only competitor adds. I thought CC did, but last time I tried, they told me they didn't.
I like how I got this for $25 new at launch. :D
Same. Coupons are goodness.

Viva Pinata was $29.99 for some parts of the holiday season, thanks to coupons it cleared barely $20. Really fun game.

In case people were wondering, the bonus disk for Viva Pinata CE includes the following:

Lego Star Wars II demo
Sonic The Hedgehog demo
Frogger demo
Marble Blast demo
Time Pilot demo
Cloning Clyde demo
Viva Pinata cartoon episode "Horstachio Of A Different Color"

The CE also features the die-cut instruction manual (the top of the manual is curved to match the curve of the case). It's not nearly as flimsy as I thought it'd be either (compared to The Simpsons DVD character cases).

Still wondering if you can price match this at Best Buy, then use the gamepro coupons to get either game for $25. I should probably just go ahead and call the nearest store and ask. If anyone knows the answer to this, let me know.

Might not even have to price match it. It appears to be a universal price drop.

Well, it appears to be a universal drop, at least for Viva Pinata. Circuit City has it for $29.99 as well.

I could have sworn Circuit City had a similar $5 off coupon, but I can't find one.

I think I mentioned this in the thread about the Amazon drop, but here it is again:

YMMV on that. The cashier may let you (I've had it happen before on a price match), but they are not supposed to. The coupon states not good with other deals, which a price match counts as. I picked up my copy by PMing at BB on Thursday using the Walmart item page as a printout. Couldn't use the coupon. Once it drops for real at BB, I'll prolly pick it up with coupon, and return the new copy with my "old" receipt.
I will go on the record and say $30 for Viva Pinata is worth every penny.
:applause:

Go buy Viva Pinata now if you don't have it already! And if you're on the fence, there's a demo on the Marketplace to convince you to buy it. ;)

I do want to play Viva Pinatat after everything I have heard about it, but I have so many other games for the 360 alone, that I think I will just wait for a good deal.
