I'd like to help but you have to be a little bit clearer. The ad I saw, in addition to the rebate form I completed, mentioned nothing about having to buy any games. Im looking at it right now in fact. It has the GBA's, MVP Baseball, Fight Night, Harry Potter, and Xbox systems. All seperate rebate amounts for each.
If you purchased any games from FYE and you have your receipt just return them if you don't want them.
I'm not really sure what your problem is...but if you have a different rebate form than the one I described I can scan a copy and email it to you...there's nothing that says the rebate form can't be reproduced, in fact FYE often runs out and has to make photocopies.
[quote name='maddfrog']My friend and I are haven't a lot of problems with this rebate deal. We went to FYE and bought 3 GBA's (one for each of the people that wanted one). So we went there and to our surprise we found out the deal really is that you have to buy a system (GBA or GameCube) WITH a purchase of a $14.99 or more game.
We went back to the store thinking that we would be able to trade the unopened games for a copy of Legend of Zelda: Four Swords and two link cables (which would be more than what we paid for the games and were willing to pay for the difference). When we got there, they refused to trade the games that were unopened.
So now we figured that the rebate doesn't say anything about buying GBA games for buying a GBA system, so would try use the games FF:CC and Four Swords instead of the game that we bought for the GBA. We called ahead of time, and even though the rebate says nothing of buying games for the systems you bought, the store manager (which we already talked with twice about this) said that it wasn't possible. So I'm asking all the cheap asses out there for your help, and advice on how we can come out some what on top. Thanks to anyone that helps!!!!!
