FYE BOGO on PS2 games, half off GC games, free game with system purchase

CAGiversary!
I searched for this on the forums but didn't see anything...anyways, stopped by FYE yesterday and they had a couple different sales going on:

PS2 games, buy one get one free
GC games, all 50% off
PS2 system, for 69.99 after Mail in Rebate
PS3 system, any free BluRay with system purchase
XBox360, free game with system purchase
Wii system, free game with system purchase

My store was pretty much wiped out game wise...only thing I really considered was getting another ps2.

Three days ago my local FYE had 75% off all NEW (not used) X-box (original) and GBA games.

Picked up:

Astro Boy: Omega Factor GBA $2.50
Wing Commander: Prophecy GBA $2.50

There probably should be one thread for FYE deals considering how many FYE threads/deals get reposted.

YMMV on the B1G1 on PS2 games, as I think I mentioned in the other thread. My local stores had it by mail in rebate only (not at the register).

Also, it's 50% off all new Gamecube, XBox, and GBA games. That should be valid at all FYE's. YMMV if your store has bumped that to 75% off (which will require a manual markdown).

Agree. Local FYE only has 50% off said games, and no Gcube games at all.
Still couldn't resist Grabbed by the Ghoulies and SSX Tricky at $2.50 each.

For.Your.Entertainment, I believe. They are nationwide and are known mostly as a music/movie store (They also sell new/used products and take in trade-ins). They sell video games, consoles, anime/manga/Japanese style food, and mp3 accessories. At least, the ones around my area do.

Found one nearby that marked their GC/XBOX/GBA games to 75% off, but the only game that seemed worthwhile was Metroid Prime 2. The self-scanner rang it up at $39.99, so I figured it would be $10 after the 75% discount, but the guy rings it up and he says it's showing as $50 and the discount is only for 70%, even after that the total ended up being like $25... huh!?

For the benefit of anyone in Buffalo, NY the Walden Galleria has everything 75% off. The Transit Drive store is still only at 50% but it has a much larger selection. I've snagged about 40 games averaging $2.50 a piece over the course of the past week between the two, and a lot of it is actually pretty good stuff. Boulevard Mall has jack and squat. Haven't been to the one in Blasdell.
