i had an ass load of fye credit to burn. surprise surprise, the last blue/black ds had a 30$ rebate form. it will cost you 139.99 initially but after 30$ rebate 109.99 is an awesome deal for a black/blue ds (considering there are so many decent flips at fye)

to answer all your questions, yes it will take at least 6 months to get your 30$ prepaid visa card (that cant be redeemed for cash)

30$ rebate means 20$ less than msrp (after 6 months)

I was just pointing out that it's only a $20 saving. You're better off waiting for a sale. Usually Target has a $20 GC or $20 off, no rebates.

You didnt have to be a dick about it.

But most people aren't sitting on a ton of FYE credit. This is certainly not a bad deal but it's not an uncommon one either. If you're going to throw store credit into the equation you'd be better served posting this in the bragging rights forum. Also, as Rig noted, the report function should be saved for actual violations. Calm down and don't be so trigger-happy with your mouse button.

The target clearance thread was a completely different issue: you were getting into the middle of a previously started COMPLETELY off-topic fight between two other CAGs. In this thread, the "crapper" in question was completely on topic since he was discussing the validity of your deal.

In your defense, if you did get dinged from the target threadcrap it was mostly for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. If it wasn't getting so heated between IAM and Jedi, you could've said whatever you wanted about his cats, padawan, or mom.

As it stands, you're giving off the same impression as this guy:
