FYE - Trade 2 Get 1 Used 19.99 Game; Buy 2 Get 1 Used Game Half Off

Sketchy on details, and this has been running for at least a week now. Confirmed with one of my local stores.

Trade 2 used games, get any used game under $19.99 for free.

No sports games prior to 2007.

YMMV on rules, selection, etc.

Warm, possibly hot with the BestBuy $2 sale.

Didn't see this posted here yet...

This has been going on for almost a month and has already been posted. Mst FYEs are pretty selective on what games they will take, they have to sell them for a certain price.

Also, some FYEs I have been to claim they do not have this deal so YMMV

Edit: They also have a similar deals for DVDs (14.99 or less) and CDs (9.99 or less)

but the FYE used game price is a bit high. They want $30 for used Samurai Champoloo (although it looks like someone trade in a new copy)

I love this deal at FYE. I was able to trade 10 junk games from the BB drop for 5 Xbox 360 games.

My FYE doesn't even check the condition so I'm tempted to use some GS games which are usually treated like shiz just to see if they'll take them.

FYE are the most YMMV company I've dealt with so far... but one of my local FYE has this bitchy manager who always give me tone of BS about deals but too dense to realize I'm ripping them off with $2 games I pick up in the GS right next door!

I'm always polite to remove the GS stickers and make sure it has the instructions and no scratch on disc...

I wonder how FYE manage to stay alive with such crapy prices and stupid deals...

I think I'll just have to bring in spyro enter the dragonfly and xiii (each for cube) for something worth more than $3. :D

Eh. Might not be able to after all.

Yeah, the YMMV of FYE is a double edged sword. Sometimes they run deals after they've expired b/c they're uninformed or the opposite where they don't even know it's going on. I've encountered both, but it's nice to have the option when they have a clue what's going on.

Crap, I'm too late. I just called the only FYE around me (Mission Viejo, CA) and asked about the deal but he said it's over.

Not sure if this is nation-wide or if it's just this location. He actually put me on hold to ask the manager..so who knows, could be the latter.

went tonight and traded in Stuntman(BB $2), Gran Turismo 3(kmart $2), Onimusha 2(BB $2 ) and nanobreaker(BB $2)
Got Darkwatch and Total Overdose. Nothing special, but still only cost $8.

Also got 4 movies by trading in 8. Total overdose was mismarked so i got more credit applied than i shouldve making my total with tax .40 cents instead of 5 something.
