Game Collections

Cool game collection Mr. Anderson. One day when I have some Extra time I'm going to photograph my entire collection and Post it on Cheapassgamers .

erm.....thanks i guess....

what, per se, does that entail? (mind outta the gutter)

youll hate me more. my arcade cabinet (which is r-type one by the way, made by nintendo) was free. yep FREE.

i am loathed by all.

I don't doubt it. After talking to all my married friends, I have a feeling that my game and toy collections will vanish fairly quickly if I ever got into a serious relationship... of course, that probably won't happen soon... I couldn't get any in a women's prision if i were walking around with a handful of full pardons :). Nothing sours you so quickly on relationships as having a couple of beers with your married friends.

Don't let it happen. If she's like that, she's not worth it.

btw. gamereviewgod - got a count (estimate) on those games?

Probably around 3500 by now, but it's been about 2 years since my count. That's only the downstairs room. Doesn't count the portable stuff upstairs. =:)

I've wanted a different arcade game for a long time. R-Type would be sweet. When I bought the one pictured, I knew nothing about them. Almost none of it is original and once I found out, I was none too happy. Someday I'll switch.

SolinariDotCom: If you ever sell it, you'll regret it for years to come...TRUST ME. I remember my selling my huge (at the time) NES collection and 7800 stuff when I was about 12. I've never regretted anything more. No matter what happens, unless your on your last legs, DON'T DO IT!
Sneaky and punq....I am both of your slaves for eternity.
you declered your self my slave. my first order of business is this.

They're not going anywhere. . I assure you ;-)

Mine is:

Users.ign.com/collection/jcnet1

Please note that only my GCN, ps2, and xbox collections are fully up to date, gba is missing about 50+ games, snes is missing several hundred, ps one is missing about 400, nes about 100, turbo grafx is missing about 35, and some systems I don't even have up on IGN. It takes too long to add games and such on IGN now.

I saw a few people show their dvd collections but I don't have a list made up of those, though I have around 700-800 DVD movies in all.
Sylentwulf: That custom shelving is sweet.
Thanx :) I get more comments on that than anything else, heh.

I also have a 27" soul edge cabinet and my modern games in my living room.

i still need help with mine anyone got an extra mint complete of chrono cross ff tactics and bof 3 original they'd be willing to let go?

I think I have the largest collection of anyone on here. Check my signature. Not listed: Over 300 Atari 2600 games, among other things. I only have so much room lol, so many games are in boxes. Also not listed: Colecovision, a few Intellivisions, Jaguars, 3DOs, CDis, Atari Lynx, a few Game.com games (No f'n clue where they went, I'm guessing they're gone forever at this point), Atari 5200 and Atari 7800 games, some Sega Genesis, a few NES games, around 200 or so games that I attempted to list but of which IGN had no listing... all around, I have about 1,000 more games then I have listed.

No Emulators. No bootlegs (well, some bootlegs but I'm not counting those), no backups. I'll try to figure out the URL to my collection pictures.

ETA: A few people here might have more games then I do but of the (last count) 2700 games I own, I count no duplicates. Count the duplicates, and I'm sitting at around 3000 or so.

Random stuff. N64, X-Box, and PS2. Photos taken in October. Since then, my PS2 collection has doubled. Disregard the Tales from the Crypt videos, and instead notice the two of the 26 ROBs I own (of which only four are working, go figure. The two pictured are of the 'broken' varity).
Gamecubeandredthing.jpg

Gamecube collection, with one of my six Virtual Boy's looking on in menacing fasion.
NESlot.jpg

My NES collection. My pride and joy. Every game works, though I must concede that not all of them are in what I would call mint condition. I spent the better part of a weekend once trying to figure out how to get rid of the... ugh... mold that was inside a copy of crappy ass Barbie by Mattel that I bought at a garage sale for a dollar.
Displayboxes.jpg

A few display boxes that were donated to my collection by my pals at Game Crazy. Note the sealed copy of Cookie Monster Munch for the Atari 2600 that I found in a freebie box at a garage sale.

Marios.jpg

More boxes, plus a bunch of Marios that I found at a (you guessed it) Garage sale for five cents each. I'm convinced they are the real my car keys keep disappearing.

Bootlegs.jpg

Random NES bootlegs and multicarts, most of which I bought from a flea market in Mexico. A few are unworking. Crimebusters is neither a bootleg nor a multicart. It's very valuable and hard to find. I think I paid $20 or so for it. The orgins of the game are still somewhat a mystery. It's a neat little gun game.

GBA.jpg

A few of my Gameboy Advance games. Once again, note that these photos were taken in October and don't accurately reflect the amount of games I own for it. Too soon to tell if any of these will be collectable in the future, but I do think 90% of them are pretty good games.

variousgames.jpg

A bunch of random games for random machines. Looks like a few Genesis games, a few Atari games, a few Intellivision games, a few Coleco games, a few Jaguar games, a few Arcadia games, and a few Sega Master System games. I appologize that it was unorganized. I had just started rearranging my Game Room. I also seemed to forget to take a picture of my SNES collection. D'oh!

Version17withcongo.jpg

A very hard to come by Version 17 Gamecube Kiosk disc, complete with the demo drums in their original brace. I've turned down offers over $200+ for them.

Kiosks.jpg

A few more Gamecube Kiosks.

I hope y'all enjoyed a trip into my game room.

I'm not the king. I don't have the largest collection by any means. Not even close. Some guys have single games that are worth more then all of mine combined. That said, I'm pretty proud of what I've put together.
