Hello CAG,

I want to introduce Game & Print Club ( http://www.gameandprintclub.com ).

Game & Print Club puts out fan art prints inspired by videogames. Every release will be a timed, limited editon -- meaning it will be on sale for a limited number of hours / days, never to be reprinted again. But also keep in mind, this is strictly fan art -- and are therefore unofficial and unlicensed. We're all huge Nintendo fans so pretty much the only fan art we'll be putting out will be inspired by Nintendo games.

Each release also has a pre-requisite that must be met before it can be bought as well -- hence the "Club." The pre-requisties differ per release, and they include: Early-adopters pre-requisite, challenge pre-requisites, and sharing pre-requisites.

How Game & Print Club came about is basically on a message board. A bunch of us from EB and NeoGAF, who are all poster collectors, just bought a Wii U and thought "wouldn't it be cool to have some kind of special print for being a Wii U early adopter?" Which lead to print #0, which we made available to whoever wanted one on the boards -- so long as you own a Wii U by December 31, 2012. And plus, we just want to help promote things we love: videogames and art. So we hope to use this to pay tribute to our favorite games and help promote some artists that we love who might not be as well known as well.

same here, but i got the metroid one. im quite happy with it and ill probably end up getting the zelda one too. my room could use the decorations.

The & is actually our mascot. It's modified to include the letters G, P, and C; plus, it looks like a duck.

The hand-embossing is for authenticity's sake. It's on all copies of Print #1 & #2 but not on #0. It will be on the upcoming ones as well. We put it in a space where it will frame out though.

also, I'm glad you guys are happy with it thus far. Really means a lot

and sorry about over-packing that envelope with cardboard. I think one or two might've been a bit hard to take out, but I figured it would be better than having it arrive damaged via the mail.

From experience shipping prints, you're absolutely right to overpack. If you don't, they always seem to arrive a little messed up. Especially with giclee, people (in my experience) will really freak out over the smallest dinged corner :p

On another note, that's a pretty stock you're using.

ah, yes I know. as a collector myself I actually freak out too. and yeah, that watercolor paper really makes it so much better in person.


Here is the print we'll be releasing alongside Encounters in Hyrule. It's a companion piece to print #1. Remember, once you've provided your 3DS friendcode or Wii-U Nintendo Network ID you no longer have to do it for items that have that a pre-req, as I have it noted and recorded.

I have to agree. I just discovered this thread but doing the small chores are 100x easier than what is needed to have a small chance at mondo.

For mondo you have to have twitter updates go to your phone
then when you know there will be a drop the next day you must:
set up your browser to keep refreshing every 1 second before you go to bed that night
have credit card data already entered into a notepad file for easy copy and paste
be already logged into the site and ready to go

Then, and only then, if you are within 3 feet of your computer when they drop (which could be 10am or 4 pm) you might have a small chance of getting a print, but chances are you will add to your cart and watch as the page sooooo slowly loads to your cart and then get to the final step before getting the error saying it is out of stock

Now if you had a 2nd print in your cart you are back to the beginning and that 2nd print will be long gone before you even get a chance to think about going back through the payment process

At this point your phone will buzz telling you that the prints are in stock

You curse a little bit and say how much you hate trying to get a mondo print and decide to go grab a sandwich

phone buzzes again telling you they are out of stock

Wow wish I would have known about this sooner. I'm just a little bit of a sad panda over some of the prints I have missed. Some of them would have been perfect for our nursery.
Can't wait to see what is next though.

I just wish I had checked my notices earlier this year. Would have loved to have that Hotel Dusk one framed.
