I've rescued some 1989 vintage Super Mario Brothers borders and wallpaper from the shelf they'd been sitting on for 15 years. These would be AWESOME in a game room, game store, or kid's room. They're mint in box and I have a bunch of different styles featuring Bowser, Mario, the Princess, Toad, Koopas & more. Check them out in my eBay store:

My auctions start at 99 cents, with no reserve. That's expensive?

FYI: This wallpaper orginally retailed for $48 a ROLL and this was BEFORE it was vintage & collectible.
 
Still sticks (I hung some in my brother's bathroom), is bright, vibrant white (no yellowing or fading).

I've had nothing but rave reviews!
 
Now, I just thought the link for this was funny- a list of all these detailed, expensive, art noveaux statues and things... with 1989 mario wallpaper right in the middle of it. :D

She's right, you know. They also love art nouveau candlesticks.
 
As an interior designer by trade, I can tell you, in my professional opinion, that Super Mario Brothers wallpaper is on the same high level of style as Art Nouveau & Art Deco. Ha!

It does seem odd that they're all mixed together doesn't it?..At least it's easy to sort them.

Hmm. I hadn't tried the wall stickers on textured walls. They stick great on my smoother walls. The wall stickers are great for sticking on cars too...Or your fridge, or whatever.

They even had them stuck all over the forklifts at the place where I found them!

Yeah, they stick to my closet and bathroom doors excellently. I also have one of the Nintendo logo stickers on my laptop over the Comaq symbol, so it looks like I have a really big SP.

Ive seen that wallpaper on Ebay before i noticed this thread, i though to myself if i had any kids i would definitely pick up some of it for their bedroom. Really cool stuff, how did you come across something like this?
 
Ya, I know 28 isn't really that old...I just like being dramatic!

I found this wallpaper at a discount store. It'd been sitting on a shelf FOREVER (i.e. 15 years)! Apparently, not everyone appreciated it's design as much as I did. I thought it was gold, and immediately snatched it up!

Those things are awesome (the stickers not gamedude's stalking), but I know my roommates would be a bit upset if they came home one day and those things were everywhere.
