Is there any price guide for used video games, For example sports cards have a beckett guide. I was always wondring how the stores come up with prices on used games.
eBay is the best gauge of the true market value of a game IMO. Just be sure to search on completed auctions. It's only tricky when there are 0 or very few completed auctions for a game.

Second day on the job and you're already on top of things. Keep up the good work Shrike
I've always thought that you should buy/sell on message boards at a little less than ebay prices (unless it's something like Radiant Silvergun), because of the risk, the lack of eBay fees, the instant sale, etc.
I recently rebought bad fur day at my local store, I paid $17 for the game, but if I was to trade it in they would only give me 90 cents. I have no clue why someone would ever trade at a local store.

Woah, $17?! I've seen it for way less. I think you got shafted...
