so i went to GameCrazy today, and i found Suikoden 1 for $12.99 and SUikoden 2 for $24.99. however, somehow even though they had both games on the salesfloor, they somehow had none in the back. i think they guy working there just didnt want to sell them, so he told me they didnt have them. but yeah suikoden 1 is $12.99 and suikoden 2 is $24.99 at gamecrazy

Hell, a new sealed copy of Suikoden II goes for $200+ sometimes. Half.com lists one for about $230.
 
psyclerk....if i was gonna shell out any money for suikoden 2 (which i sooner or later will)....i am buying it new on half.com (if its still available)....i hate buying used games, and i take care of my games well

There was a new copy that broke $300 a few weeks ago I believe.

It has a very high demand. I heard that Konami only printed 70,000 copies for the US. The original Suikoden had almost, if not, twice that amount printed.

Fairly rare and the market price on it is pretty damn high for a PS1 game. It's a decent RPG. I completed it this weekend and it does a decent job of having all 108 characters have some development, but I'm still a FF/DW/BoF fan so it didn't really jump to the top of my RPG list or anything.

its also cool cuz you can have like 6 people in your party at once!!!
 
Someone GAVE me theirs when it first came out, but I didn't know it was going to be rare, so I sold it for some really low amount (like $13 or something, can't remember) :(

just messing, that does suck
but i sold my snes secret of evermore and super mario rpg when i was like 13 for 20 bucks so its not all that bad

There are sometimes where the store doesn't keep track of inventory and think they have the game in according to the computers and search and can't find it. I've run into this 2 times, one was when I was buying Wing Commander 4 from Gamestop in which the employee searched for 10 minutes looking for it, but couldn't find it(turns out they sold it the day before and didn't clear it through the computer).

The other was recent when I wanted to buy WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain from EB, I asked them if they had a used copy and they said they had 1 used copy left. I grabbed the case they had on display for the used copy and the employee went to grab the disc, but couldn't find it. Turns out one of the idiots placed it under WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth and sold it a few hours before I got there for that game's price. So that guy saved $30 bucks and got a newer WWE game. That still peeves me off, cause with the card I could've got it for $40 instead of paying $50 for a new copy. :evil:
 
I saw a Guilty Gear X2 at my local EB, brought up the case and they looked in the little cabinet, said it wasnt there. That was the manager, and he said people steal games like that way to often. So, dont look at the guy who looked, it was probably some shady employee that took off with it much earlier.
 
i went to eb games last week and you know those "new" games they have on display, but the the contents are behind the counter? well, i wanted to buy that copy b/c it was the only one left. they had the contents (the disc and manual), BUT THEY COULDN'T FIND THE DAMN BOX! that was last week and i've been calling them everyday for it and they just told me today that some kid probably stole it. btw, i keep trying at this ebgames b/c i did the "store locator" search and called every eb games on that list (18 of them) and they're the only ones within a 20 mile radius that has it. :lol:
