i went over to target and picked up STAR OCEAN For 20 for ps2 and decided to stop past another GC all ps1 unless noted

picked up today

Tetirs plus
Diablo (if anyone needs this let me know its disc only)
some bowling game
Super smash brothers for N64

the biggest shocker

Tales of Destiny 2 the game disc only

but still i was shocked that no1 picked this game up yet

woo now i have 2 copies of tales of destiny 2 (I got one 2 years back off videostop for 7.99 complete) i think i will play the hollywood video one and leave the complete one alone.... would of loved to find arc the lad im just too lazy to open up my sealed copy

I went back today, and grabbed
orge battle 64
bomber man 64
final fantasy origins-psx(complete)
vampire hunter d-psx
kirby dreamland 3-snes

Soul Calibur for DC, complete
Tomba! for PS, disc only
FFTactics, PS, complete (GH)
Alleyway for GB, cart only
Rayman 2 for GBC, cart only.

And now, I have an extra disc-only Soul Calibur. (OTM and ChaosZero know what that could mean for someone :bouncy: )

The workers told me that I was about the 4th person that took advantage of this deal - with the first two people being guys who biught out all the the N64 Mario stuff.

Bought 15 games total and they were:

Sega Saturn:
Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV (this was a filler, I literally tore the place apart and this just stood out because it was a SS game)

SNES:
Secret of Evermore
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble (now I just need to track down the second one)

PSX:
Breath of Fire 3
Silent Bomber (another filler item, I just picked the most expensive used PSX game)
Kagero: Deception II (I hope it's like the first Deception game)

N64:
Goldeneye (already own a complete version - which I paid $80 around X-mas time when the N64 was booming - but who could past up this gem?)
Donkey Kong Country 64 (had it for a week and then friend lost it and moved away before payming me back)
gold Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (already own this, but who could past this up?)
gold/grey Pokemon Stadium 2 (why not?)
Snowboard Kids 2 (I have always wanted this and I couldn't even find this new!)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (I never owned it - forgive me Nintendo!)
Mario Kart 64 (already own it, but I could never allow myself to miss owning another copy)
Super Mario 64 (I played the Japanese version of this way before the American release and since I couldn't understand the text, it kind of put me off, but not this time....)
Gauntlet Legends (I really wanted this for the Dreamcast, but the nostalgia of hearing" ______ needs food!" was well worth it!)

The worker said this stuff would have costed me close to $300, but I got all of this for $75+tax. I'm torn at whether or not I want to go back and pick up some more, like Lethal Enforcers 1&2 (PSX), 1-out-of-2 discs of the Final Fantasy Anthology or X-Men vs. Street Fighter (PSX).

And I found a complete copy of Super Mario World for GBA for $19.99. Awesome.

Donkey Kong Country 2
Mario Kart 64
Dragon Warrior VII (complete)

I was pissed off at finding out that Super Mario RPG, Breath of Fire II (SNES), and Final Fantasy III were all sold to the same guy yesterday.......

I finally made it to my nearest GameCrazy today, half-expecting to not find anything. To my surprise, it looked like no one really took advantage of this sale. I also have to commend the employees there today (the manager and one other clerk) for being some of the nicest game store employees I've ever dealt with. At one point, they were actually suggesting titles to me that usually retailed at $24.99 or more.

I ended up buying 12 game and also received a $10 coupon to be used 5/12-5/26 (I think) because I spent more than $50. The manager checked me out and said that without the sale, the games I purchased would have cost about $300 after tax.

There were two disappointments, though. I saw what appeared to be a complete copy of Diablo (PSX) in the glass case only to find it empty and they were unable to locate the disc. Also, a copy of Lunar (PSX) that the computer showed as in-stock was only one disc of the two or three that the complete set should have.

Here's what I ended up getting (all disc or cart-only unless othewise noted):

PSX
Ghost in the Shell (COMPLETE) - marked 14.99
Tales of Destiny (former rental) - marked 24.99

N64
007 Goldeneye - marked 24.99
Harvest Moon 64 - marked 24.99
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - marked 29.99
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (gold cart) - marked 24.99
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (grey cart) - marked 7.99
Mario Golf - marked 19.99
Mario Kart 64 - marked 24.99
Mario Party 3 - marked 34.99
Mega Man 64 - marked 24.99
WWF No Mercy - marked 12.99

well call me lucky but someone traded a complete box set of arc the lad collection. since im low on money i did something bad cuz im a bad boy. if you noticed earlier that i picked up disc world. which is terrible. i swapped it stating the disc was defective so i could pick up arc as an alternative. i jusyt cant beleive someone trade that in during the sale of all times. ive worked at gc almost a year and never had that traded in. but now, during the sale and only give 2.00 because of the sale, traded it in. amazing.

I'm so envious of you all... of course the week that I clear out my bank account to get a new car Gamecrazy decides to clear out their stock.

This is the best sale EVER. I've spent almost $200, but I've already found so many great games that I had been looking for. Better yet, I still have 1 more store to check out...

Record Of Lodoss War (disc only)

Right forum this time :bouncy:

Gamestop #3 was somewhat picked at (especially the PSX games), but surprisingly, almost all the games were complete. I did find Tail Concerto, Legend of Legaia (no manual), and the Japanese Puzzle Bobble for Game Gear (cart only.)

I also saw for the first time, a Gameboy bootleg! It caught my attention becuase of the faded Ranma 1/2 pic behind the 25-game list. It was funny, it looked just like a regular GB cart, except the 'Nintendo' part of 'Nintendo Game Boy' was missing. Kinda off-balance looking, ya know? I'm half thinking of getting it, just for kicks.

I did pretty decent with this sale, nothing too great though. Almost all the games they had were disc or cart only. The employees and their friends held some stuff for themselves so I missed out on Lunar 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, and who knows what else.

I'd probably be willing to trade any of these, especially if someone had a copy of Tactics Ogre they're willing to part with.

PSX:
Breath of Fire IV
Ehrgeiz
Front Mission 3
Metal Gear Solid (With Case & Cover)
Saga Frontier 2
Vagrant Story (With Case & Cover)

DC:
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (Complete)

SNES:
Super Mario Kart

N64:
Paper Mario

I also got Legend of Mana when I first went, but since it was scratched up and would freeze on the opening cinema even after being buffed I swapped it for Ehrgeiz.

I could probably pick that up again and some other stuff like Tales of Destiny or Vampire Hunter D if someone was interested in a trade.

Is the TOD you could get complete? I might be interested if it is.
Just a quick question...Did anyone else find/pick up the Fan Edition of Lunar Silver Star Story?
I'm not sure if I got the fan edition, but the discs of the copy I found have different art than my original copy.

It will say "Special edition fan art CD label by: (name)" on both discs.

Just got back home from college yesterday, so of course being a Cheap Ass, the next day I went out to some Gamecrazy stores. I expected little to be left, but I'm happy with what I found. I'll probably end up heading back, even though I've spent so much. I have to rationalize spending this money by thinking I'd only get a few full price games at this amount, instead of the vast number the cash pays for from the sale.

Also, if anyone found The New Tetris for 64, I'm interested in either a trade(from list or try naming a title) or pay.
