8/20/08 changes:

Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness:
The plush chicken pre-order bonus has been delayed. The item is currently in transport to the United States and has not cleared customs. The item will arrive 7-10 days after the game's launch.

Mirror's Edge:
The gift with purchase has been changed to a free t-shirt.

Lego Batman:
The original promotion provided a set of keychains to customers. However, due to the large number of pre-orders on this title, the publisher cannot produce enough keychains to meet demand. Pre-order customers will now receive ONE villain keychain of their choice, subject to availability on hand.

ANywhere I can see the Faith action figure? I already preordered at Gamestop for the bag, but action figures are way cooler than banana yellow bags....

No. It was just added to the list today. It's a text list so there's no pictures. I doubt there will be pictures until it actually comes in.
 
Ooo, I'd like to take a look at this figure too. Too bad I'll be back at school with no GC in sight when the game comes out. Maybe I can get my brother to pick it up...
 
Thats too bad...thanks a lot for the heads up. I guess I will stick with the bag and just snag the figure from ebay or CAG, after the fact.

@ Scorch: Do you work for GC? Do you all generally get the same amount of preorder bonuses as preorders or is it normal to have extras on hand?

Depends on the item. Mostly it's just enough for preorders, sometimes it's not enough, very rarely is it extra. Something like the SC4 Darth Vader PS3 skins, we got stocked tons of. We had two Alone in the Dark extra lighters. It all just depends.

So when do you usually know how much to order. If you do get them a week before the game comes out, what about the people who preorder days before? Do you order a few extras to cover them?
 
We don't order them. Corp sends them out. And the pre-order stuff sometimes comes a few days early (SC4 did), but its first come first serve on pre-order bonus's.

Ah, I see. I heard GS does it the other way, or so the clerks claim. Well, so far I've been screwed out of many preorder items, if I do arrive within the first hours possibly that means I can get them. Well, good to know at least.
 
Lego Batman keychain set, nice. GS is only giving away one of 4 when you preorder. All things being the same, I'll be preordering at GC.

Man, looks like I'll have to reserve one Lego Batman at GC and 4 at GS :(

Edit: I guess not. Lego Batman key chains can already be found to purchase all over the Internet.
