Hello again this is a similar thread to the one I posted with my Xbox and im just curious is all to get ballpark figures on what you people this this Gamecube bundle may be worth.

Here it is:

Platinum Gamecube (Basically the only time it was turned on was to set time/date but no actual game time and has not been fired up since)
It was from a Metroid Prime Bundle I got in early June and I still have all the packaging along with the outer slip advertising the metroid bundle.

So:

Platinum Gamecube w/ Controller and all cords
2- White Intec Memory cards Wii/Gamecube

14 games (all games are complete and non Players Choice and all in mint to excellent condition 2 are still sealed)

Paper Mario:TTYD
Phantasy Star Online Ep.III C.A.R.D
Star Fox Adventures
Resident Evil:Zero
Resident Evil:4
Baten Kaitos
Baten Kaitos:Origins
Battalion Wars (Sealed)
Geist (Sealed)
Zelda:WW
Zelda:TP
Harvest Moon:Magical Melody
Metroid Prime
FF:Crystal Chronicles

Thank you again

IMO, Phantasy Star Online Ep.III C.A.R.D is your money maker and you might even want try to sell it by itself. I think a good way to figure out selling value is search each game on gamestop.com and then taking 75% of the value for a target price.

So take each game and look it up on Ebgames.com and take 75% off the used value they have? Wow might as well trade it all to them then im im just looking to basically get what they would give me in credit..

Um thanks

So basically lets used this as a example: You have a PS3 game that sells used at Ebgames for $49.99 and your going to take 75% off that which comes out to $12.50 and thats what your basically going to sell it for? Um that would not be smart.

Honestly your best bet is probably to trade or sell some of those here. You'll get practically nothing for good games that people will buy on here like Prime, Paper Mario, and Wind Waker if you go to a game store. I know I would be interested in some of your games. Try bundling the GC with a couple of the cheaper games and try it on craigslist or something. The value for a gamecube is pretty low, but you might be able to get $25-30 for the system, but maybe bump that up to $50-60 if you throw in a couple solid games.

Maybe I've been up too long... gamestop's gamecube prices arn't 75% of their used price list. I was just trying to give you a ball park figure to aim at if you were to put it on craigslist. However I did notice Zelda: TP sells for $40 at Gamestop so my theory might be a bit flaw because I don't know anyone would pay more then 15 for it now with BBV priceing them at 14.99.

Platinum Gamecube w/ Controller and all cords ($23.40)
2- White Intec Memory cards Wii/Gamecube ($19.50)

14 games (all games are complete and non Players Choice and all in mint to excellent condition 2 are still sealed)

Paper Mario:TTYD ($11.99)
Phantasy Star Online Ep.III C.A.R.D ($8.50)
Star Fox Adventures ($7.40)
Resident Evil:Zero ($10.00)
Resident Evil:4 ($11.94)
Baten Kaitos ($9.99)
Baten Kaitos:Origins ($12.98)
Battalion Wars (Sealed) ($15.95)
Geist (Sealed) ($9.99)
Zelda:WW ($18.00)
Zelda:TP ($24.00)
Harvest Moon:Magical Melody ($14.50)
Metroid Prime ($6.95)
FF:Crystal Chronicles ($3.50)

The values listed are all the lowest values for each on Amazon. Interpret that as you will, but since you're wanting to get rid of it as a bundle, you'll want to go lower than their listing for every game.
You are so dumb. 75% of $50 is $37.50, THAT is your target price. Reading comprehension is a good tool my friend.
Wow im the dumb one I got it!

Try this 49.99 - 75% (37.50) is the total coming off the price, now hit enter or = and in real life that would be that actual price with the percent off and I just rounded up the last number also like they do in real life.

You can not toss something out there very vague and leave out the fine details your looking at and then call someone dumb about it.

Maybe im old or something but lowering the price just because it is all bundled just blows me away, it is almost like im penalizing myself for selling it in a group.

You'd fare better by selling all of them separately on Amazon. For some reason, Gamecube games are money when sold separately. You're not going to get much for the actual system and accessories, but you can trade them into gamestop for some extra on the side ($15 for the system and $4 > for accessories).

Well, that's how it works these days. As bundles will often contain games that people don't want, they're looking to get a better value for them.

Gamecube bundles do terribly on eBay, if that's the route you're thinking about going.

Craigslist is not going to net you high prices unless you're lucky and patient; you do avoid fees and get cash in hand though.

If you want to get rid of it quick, split the good games and make a small bundle with the less valuable stuff. It means more hassle shipping and stuff, but it'll net you more. If you have time to spare, you might get lucky on Craigslist or the forums, but there's no guarantee.

It's unfortunate, as the Cube has one of the best libraries around, but prices have dipped because it's not current-gen.

Yeah to bad the wii has full BC because then the nintendo released Gamecube games would not be so damn expensive used.

Best advice I can give, since I know next to nothing about Gamecube values is to check Ebay. Hell, many on here do it when pricing their stuff, so why not do the same with your lot of stuff?

That's the only advice I can give you really.

I'm gonna go with the "Sell to CAGs" suggestion. There are some damn good games there, and I would bite on a few myself if at the right price.

What are you talking about. These people are trying to help you price your games, you read it wrong, then get all defensive about it. You read the post wrong, admit it and move on. As for bundles going for less than selling individually, YES, you ARE getting penalized for selling everything in a bundle because you are being lazy. By selling each game individually, you are identifying the buyer who wants that game most. It's related to an economic principle called consumer surplus. Think about it - if you really wanted a copy of Pikmin, you'd pay about $15 for it. But if it came with 14 other games that you didn't really want in the first place, you are not going to pay top dollar for the other 14 because you only wanted Pikmin in the first place.

Wow you hit the nail right on the head, yes im a fat lazy bastard and I just want money coming right to me and not have to do anything for it.

LOL did you ever think that maybe I just want to get it over with and not have to ship individual items and I would prefer cash not paypal for bundle items because then I have to get it transferred and wait 3-4 days to have it in my account then go to the bank to get it. So if you want to call me lazy for not wanting to do that then thats fine.

if someone wants to buy it as a bundle and have that shipped it may be a possibility but not the other way.

Thanks for your advice though I just burned some calories off my lazy ass buy typing this out to you. :)

There's nothing wrong with being fat and lazy, just don't expect to get top dollar for your goods without putting the work in.

The post was "75% of the value for a target price". No sense in getting pissy if you added an extra "f" to that. Pretty clear to me that he was telling you to take whatever GS's used price is and sell it for 75% of that.
