I ordered this on a whim, hoping it would be one of the PS2 Logitech wheels because the product description does state it is for PS2. However, when the box arrived today, instead of a PS2 wheel was the Gamecube Logitech Speed Force Wheel with Accessory Kit. I bought this wheel about two years ago, and it is a great wheel for F-Zero GX and Burnout 2.

Thanks OP. I got mine today, it works great!

For whom it may concern; I've tried it with all my games. NFS: Underground and F-Zero GX seem to work the best. MKDD works decent as well, but it is a little bit sensitive.

It doesn't work in Crazy Taxi (not a surprise), and Simpson's Hit and Run it is *way* to sensitive to be playable IMO.

Anyways, I just ordered four more, one for me, three for family. ... Fingers crossed some bean counter doesn't discover the error and send me PS2 wheels.
anyone know if WAVE RACE blue Storm or EXTREME G3 works with the wheel?
I just tried both. It doesn't work for either one.

It works great for Nascar Thunder '03.

I thought it was terrible with MK:DD. The regular controller works much better.

If anybody cares, the wheel also works with Crash Nitro Kart.

Thanks again OP.

Just got my huge box delivered, very nice deal. Considering another one and all but now I just need to go buy some racers to go with it :p

Can anyone recommend any of these for this wheel?

4X4 Evolution 2
Burnout 2: Point of Impact
F-Zero GX
Hot Wheels: Velocity X
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
NASCAR HEAT 2: Dirt to Daytona
NASCAR Thunder 2003
Paris-Dakar Rally 2
Pro Rally

Then some searching found these should as well, but I can't trust all of them:

Auto Modellista
City Racer
GT Cube 2
Need for Speed: Underground
Need for Speed: Underground 2
R: Racing Evolution
V-Rally 3

I already own MK:DD and F-Zero. Tempted to buy Burnout 2 but already have 3 for another system. Anyone try this with Auto Modellista, or V-Rally?

Burnout 2 works awesome with it.

edit: F-Zero works great tho I guess there's a bit of an issue with how the drifting and attacks are mapped to the pedals. Basically a sideattack automatically activates a quick drift in either direction at the same time as the attack.

Got mine, too, surprised how much unpacking it all took. But F-Zero was amazing!

Does Burnout 1 work with it? From EB's website it looks like my local store has both Burnout 1 and 2 for the GC in stock. I already have them but would pick them up for the GC if they work with the wheel. (and I always seemed to prefer Burnout 1 to 2... so would love it if 1 worked with the wheel)

[looks like from the Planetgamecube link posted before that they specifically say Burnout 2 but not 1... guess I'll be safe and just get 2, if they have it]

I've tried the following..

Burnout 2 -works great!
R: Racing Evolution -works great!
Mario Kart: Double Dash -works, but had to control.
Need for Speed: Underground 2 -works great!
F-Zero GX -works
The Simpsons: Hit & Run -works, but had to control.
Resident Evil 4 -works great! Better than the chainsaw! ;)

Street Racing Syndicate -haven't opened it yet.

The Italian Job -not compatible
Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions -not compatible
Burnout -not compatible

I don't have time to test it, but FWIW, I checked my copy of City Racer and it mentions support for the Logitech Speed Force right on the back of the case. I'd say it's a pretty safe bet this game works with the wheel.

I sold Burnout 2 and F-Zero about 2 years ago. Been playing Burnout 3 at my friends so I decide to go find a used copy of Burnout 2 today (don't have a ps2 or xbox). I'll probably order one of these wheels so thanks for the deal OP.

V-Rally™ 3 by Atari

Recieved mine today. how hilarious, a huge shipping box with another huge box inside with 2 boxes inside that box. The inside box that holds the two item boxes is labeled correctly for Gamecube and has a "Blowout price" of $29.99 on it for both the wheel and pedals kit. Man, at $15 this was a crazy price on a nice wheel kit.

All good, and for Gamecube. What a strange deal this was. Thanks OP, fun one here.
