Hi,
Here's my diclaimer for ths topic: this may have been a hot topic before, but I'm not about to use the search "feature" this forum has. It blows. Second, is this topic even in the right spot?
Alright. I signed up for GameFly, thought it'd be a swell way to rent games that my local game stores didn't have. I was hesitant to drop $20 a month on it because of shipping, but they gave the free trial away so I gave 'em a shot.
The first two games I rented were mailed back perfectly fine.
The next two I sent back never made it. I sent a "lost game" report on the site, and they basically said, "Alright, we understand, we'll send the next games in your queue."
Now, the 5th and 6th games I received (I rented 6 games total over a 5-week span) also have yet to make their way back to GameFly. It's been a week. My subscription is now up, and they're giving me until June 11th to come up with the games -- otherwise, I have to pony up the "keep it" price of both games. (Roughly $70.)
Basically, I'm irate. I drop these games off in a USPS mailbox, and yet every time I do it, I have to be concerned about the games making it there? That's ridiculous! I'm going to make some calls to both GameFly and the USPS, but if I should happen to get charged for these games, I'm going to be pissed off.
Did anyone else go through a similar situation? How'd you handle it? Were you ever charged?
