Meh. Interested in trying Crysis 2, but I'll pass at this price. Gamefly's been hit-and-miss with me so I'm only biting for anything 9.99 or less. Can't be bothered with the hassle of returning unreadable discs.

Word of warning on the ps3 version: With my HDTV, for some reason, my ps3 detected it could do 1080p (which it defaulted to first time I hooked it up). Probably because the display res. is 736 techincally.

Anyhow, I didn't have any trouble until I put Crysis 2 in, and it was a blurry mess.

Swapped the PS3's output resolution to 720p, and that fixed it.
I'm just going based off the tweet from Gamefly that the current deals end at 5 pm PST. Therefore, it's probably safe to assume that there will be some more tonight. :)
Hmm, I was told these will last until Monday and there will also be new deals for the weekend. I'll double check.

UPDATE: Confirmed.

Nice

Bit on Red Dead Undead Nightmare and Crysis 2. I was going to wait for the Game of the Year edition for Red Dead, but it looks like most of the DLC is multiplayer and I'm afraid I'll have to install it all and take up more hard drive space.

Makes me wish I would've bit on Red Dead Redemption for $13 the other day. Oh well, I'll imagine I can get it for around that price sooner or later.

Does Crysis or Brotherhood have DLC included? $14.99 is a little high for me with the backlog but the fact that GameFly always includes unused codes is a plus.
fuckING STOP WITH THESE GODDAMN DEALS. I don't have the time. Jesus.
I am pretty sure Jesus would just give the games away.

If past nightly sales are any indication, if you don't buy it now, it will sell out. These deals also get posted on the front page of slick deals, and with visitors of that site + CAGS, these titles sell out fast.
Is AC any good for $15? I would grab it for $10 but not sure for $15

I guess Gamefly has spoiled me with the $8 games.
I've bought each Assassin's Creed for $10 or lower. I think that Brotherhood is a major improvement over the last two (the psp/ds games don't count to me.) I'd say it's worth atleast $15. Multiplayer wasn't even dead surprisingly. Plus leveling up your assassins is pretty fun.

Edit: One thing I hate about brotherhood is the ending though.

read the OP, inform yourself before attempting to inform others.

Crysis 2 comes with the LE pass but it doesnt add anything significant

Awesome deals across the board - Crysis 2 for $15 is an absolute no-brainer. RDUndead at $10 is a real no-brainer. And Brotherhood for $15, too?

Crap-my-pants - not that I have (to either, at least not lately) - I don't think I'll be buying many games new anymore.

Ugh, I haven't even finished ACII. (Or ACI for that matter.) So why am I so tempted? Definitely snagging one PS3 RDR Undead, though. Been waiting for that to go down for ages.

I have taken advantage of many of these past deals, spider-man and possibly castlevalnia being the only two that I might have gone for but missed out on. These past couple of deals have me feeling really stupid since I already have all of these... for what I used to think was an awesome price... and now I'm questioning my right to be a true cheapassgamer :wall:
my whole philosophy in life has changed thanks to gamefly

Just Received Mafia 2 PS3, in perfect shape! Also in for AC: B... still haven't finished AC 2, but I'll bite at that price.

OH NOEZ!!! You have big interweb muscles! I didn't think I needed to read the op when I saw the initial tweet that said till 5pm. Normally everything in this op is in the title of the thread. Sorry I didn't bother to refresh the first page 20 times.

Anyone have an opinion on Red Dead Undead Nightmare? I've heard before it is better to just pick up the regular and pick up the DLC with points but $10 isn't too shabby.

I already 100% the Read Dead single player campaign, and had Undead Nightmare downloaded but since I traded in RDR I scooped up a copy of UN on here, now I can delete my digital UN to make room for the Rage install. Now I'm trying to decide on Crysis 2 for 360 which I want, but I'm trying to hold out til 8 to see if theres something I want more

I hope it's the Kinect line-up. Missed it the first time.

It mostly comes down to timing on when you want/need a game. You know that 95% of the standard games will hit the ~$10 mark within 12-18 months after release. Most of the AAA titles will still hold value for 2+ years. So either wait until it's bargain price or figure out what's cheap enough for you just knowing that later you'll be kicking yourself if you could have lived without it longer. As long as you played during that time, then it was kinda worth it, right?
