Gamefly throttling at the end of a membership?

So long story short, I just finished up two 360 games that I sent back on Monday. Typically, it takes until Wednesday (Thursday at the latest) for GF to receive the games. Come tonight and I hear nothing. This was similar to last month where they didn't mark "received" until I reupped to extend my time with Dead Island Riptide. After I had, the game was received and they shipped another out promptly.

Has anyone had past experience with Gamefly holding your account in jeopardy until you reup to mark received? I really don't want to pay for another month as there's nothing left that I wish to play. I also don't want to have to file a credit card dispute.

The only reason I ask is because I'd have to cancel tomorrow to avoid a charge for the full month membership rate.

 
No it just takes longer now. Sometimes it'll be 3-5 days before they get a game when before it was the next day I live in San Antonio and the shipping center is in Austin.
