Gamepro's Top ten all-time Serieses

Well, I just read the newest issue of Gamepro, and it had Metroid down as number four. Well, I think the next three will be
3. Zelda
2. Mario
1. Final Fantasy
What, do you guys think it might be?
 
These awards seemed geared toward a franchise that a particular game.

I want to see Individual Game Awards; when you have a game that is perfection like Tetris, or Lumines, there is no room for a sequel.

Tetris had a sequel though... in fact, it had a ton of sequels and spinoffs, if you count the many iterations of Tetris over the years.

I'd call Tetris a franchise.

None matter, all they do is ruin the simplicty of the game. If you mean variations of the game (columns, puyo pop, Meteos) sure I'll buy that, but most games with Tetris in the title after the first have sucked.

None of those games are rememebered; only the original.

Anyway my favorite Games of All time:

Rampage - Destruction is cool, so are monsters. Both together with multiplayer is bliss.
Total Carnage- Shooting Nirvana for two people.
Super Mario World - Imitated many times, topped by none.
BangAIO - My fav. game of all time. Shooting+destruction=the reason I kepp my Dreamcast.

Tetris 2 and Tetris Attack were awesome games.

Yea, sorry about that, just changed the title. Also, there are still some series that are awesome franchises, I just don't think they will make it in the top three. Such as Mortal Kombat or Quake or Madden if they wanna be cheap about it.
