I was thinking of Big brain academy, advance wars, Super mario 64 and Phoenix wright. Anything else?

My wife and I have the most fun with the DS.

Depending on the games you enjoy...

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl are great -- if you enjoy that kind of game style. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is great too.

SimCity DS was $20 at Best Buy on Christmas eve.. if it is a sale or a drop, that could be fun. Elite Beat agents is great. Rocket Slime is great...

If you like RPGs, Mario and Luigi: partners in time is fun. Brain Age 1/2 are nifty as well.

I think Puzzle Quest is amazing if you enjoy both puzzles and rpg's. Also it should only be 15 bucks at Target these days so it's a bargin in my opinion.
Castlevania: DoS is pretty awesome. I still need to play PoR.
POR is pretty tight i probably should have played DOS before i played it but eh.
op if you get mario 64 try and get one of those thumb nub thingys makes it alot easier to play ( at least it did for me) if you get the new mario bros get it used the game is ok but it could have been alot better. cooking mama is cool as are meteos, advance wars ds, pokemon diamond/pearl. and if you like 80's arcade games id suggets picking up konami classics i love that thing.

You claim to be a "gamer" and not a pansy-ass wuss gamer. I therefore suggest Contra 4. It will kick your ass over and over and over. You'll have fun with it. ;)

Bah.. puzzle quest became pathetic for me, towards the end.. I killed the final boss before he got a turn.. I think I took 3 or 4 before he died...?

If you get puzzle quest, don't be a warrior -- it becomes WAY too easy way too fast.

I just got a DS for christmas, and I have no idea what games to get..my parents gave me Fifa 08 along with the DS, its fun but taught me that sims on the DS is a no-no

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Ouenden
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Trauma Center: Under the Knife

These were the four games that convinced me to buy a DS. I also want to recommend Fire Emblem and Spyro: Eternal Night but they are GBA games.
