I signed up for it last week when i bought sunset overdrive , and the 20% came off that purchase, well i go today to pick up call of duty and the discount isn't working. The employee had to do a post sale adjustment and give me the 20% back in cash. I checked online to see if my discount was working and it isn't. What can i do? i'm new to this, never had gamers club before.

I'm assuming that you got the Gamers Club Unlocked. If it's not working you could e-mail Best Buy customer support, or call your local Best Buy and ask to speak to the manager of the electronic department.
Alternatively, you could go in person and explain your situation to the electronic department manager and probably get the best results. I'm sure it's something that can be easily fixed. I would have any receipts, and if you were issued a club card etc and of course a photo ID but it shouldn't take all that (just to be safe).
I would ask to talk to the electronics manager though and not someone at the register.
