Same here,

So basically, everytime GG is 404, I "must" have missed a deal (or price mistake). :(

EDIT: back up but 35%, did the MSPR change?

EDIT2: Steam has it for $19.49 (same 35% off)
You guys actually want Settlers 7? You know it has that crappy always online DRM, right?
But is CHEAP! Can't...resist...game..on..sale

anyway, don't have enough blue coin to burn on the game AND don't want to spend real money on GG until they get their act together.

If it were that price on Steam (I know, I'm a Steam whore) for under $6 I'd put up with the ubi DRM, too.

I was just able to buy it so they must have fixed whatever error they had. I had been avoiding more recent ubi stuff due to their DRM but for $5.84 I hope I can deal with it.

So does Diablo 3 and MMO's.
{shrug}

I would be able to cope with that at such prices if it was the Assassin Creed series but, I've read UBI puts steam purchased games in a different "hedge" in uplay and you can't access certain stuff, so it's better to purchase them outside steam.

I highly regret I didn't purchase AC2 on time on Amazon, I would've been able to get Brotherhood for 2.50 making the total price for both 7.5.

3.25 a piece is a fair price to cope up with ubi's horrid way of doing business.

MMOs: WELL DUH  That's kind of what the O in MMO stands for.

Diablo has the excuse of the auction house and preventing cheating. I guess. It's flimsy but it's something I guess.

I have no flipping clue with Settlers needs to be always online though. To push status updates that your virtual settlers built a house on to Facebook? :p

I know, I'm playing devil's advocate there. ;)

Though, any games that you can say take AI/bots with you and finish all of it while going solo - yeah, it's not really necessary to force the MMO-aspect on it (Always online DRM factor).

I played D3 solo in my 1st run-through just fine WITHOUT any other players purposely and enjoyed it - especially w/ the new Lore audio mechanic and countless NPC audio banter.

Of course, it's also fun when playing w/ others, as well. :D

Any game you can play ALONE fine w/out others - it just doesn't need "Always online DRM". I think it's silly games like Settlers and D3 force "always online DRM". Same goes for upcoming SimCity reboot/remake, as well.

All that optional Facebook integration, online scoreboard stuff, online Achievements stuff - that should be active ONLY if you sign into an online account.

Settlers has been that price for at least a week or so now. The only way it's a price mistake is if their base price is wrong, because the discount isn't very large.
There's no separate "hedge" for UBI steam games.
Nice to know, now all I gotta do is to wait for that personal sweet spot for the AC series.

Weird though, they moved all the AC games to one time activation with offline modes available, wonder why they didn't do the same with settlers.

Bethesda pack reappeared in my inventory today, complete with "show serial" buttons, although they still say "out of stock". It had been gone since the initial purging. Don't know what to make of that.

Hey guys, check this comments on GamersGate FB and the answer from GG :

Jean Paul Martínez
Please people of Gamersgate, could it be possible if you can state if you are going to revoke all the keys from the Bethesda New Years Bundle and Borderlands 2 Four Pack that were activated on Steam, in my case I just received 2 keys from the BL2 4 pack, I gave a key to my friend and he activated it without any problem and the other one was activated by me so... I hope that you can honour those activated keys! Thank you

GamersGate Hi Jean, we really are working hard to solve this as soon as we can - we can't provide any information that might later end up being wrong. We'll be doing our best to keep you updated on this page: http://www.gamersgate.com/info/holiday-sale-issue

Just below the GG comment, it says : "edited", clicked and :

until we...
until we......

Let's play a game.... complete the sentence :

"until we beg bethesda to do it"

They're not going to tell you shit so I can tell you right now don't waste your time.

They are keeping all options on the table and whatever they end up doing I am can almost bet will happen with no notice whatsoever in typical Gamersgate fashion.
Meh there wasn't much good on the Sims 2 Exchange anyway. All the good stuff is modder made custom content.
Yeah, the point is, with sim city's always online drm, you will be at the mercy of a company with a very well established record of shutting down servers.

How will that work with Sim City 3??

Only time will tell.

What are you betting on?? Forced refunds for everyone??

So I was thinking of getting Chivalry from them GG. Is it worth spending my money on them at this point? I am not liking the payment options ( I hate paypal).

I have not had my 2nd pack re appear. Still got cancelled order and just 1 pack.

Throwing down $180 for Crysis 3, Dead Space 3, Metro: Last Light, and Bioshock Infinite, plus ~$15 in credit. Gonna have so many fucking games this Spring.

Im throwing $40 and Ill have them next winter :D
New Vegas 2.50$?
this or on steam with the ultimate?
It activates Steam, but not as Ultimate, so the DLC are not included.

Yeah I know, what I was saying was:
Should I wait for the ultimate on steam? They didn't put anything on sale from Fallout yet, so I don't know what to do... also alan wake 88%.

Sorry, I've read it wrong, just because of so many obvious questions about steam compatibility of steamworks or EA games lately on this forums.

Fallouts haven't been on sale during the winter sale yet, so I'm sure they won't be more discounted. If you want to play it before next big sale, just get it now, if not, I would advise to wait for the Ultimate version.

EDIT.
New Vegas from 2.50 to 5 ...
Wait for the Ultimate.

These are not glitches anymore. They are setting some games at 88 and 95% for a very short amount of time, just to get publicity going.

Whatever it is, it's not bad. I mean, as long as I get the key.
What the hell, I'm gonna grab New Vegas as well.
Don't do it, man. Hold fast!

There's only one day left in the steam sale and they wouldn't dare have a big sale without having the Fallout series.

Sold.

I'm worried, what if they not put fallout on sale?
:bouncy:

I'm gonna wait 6 hours then.

Buy the blue coins and then get New Vegas for 4,000BC at the UK site instead. :p

Do I save something by using the blue coins (in general)?
New Vegas is 2.49 Euros in the european (main continent) shop, even cheaper than the UK site.
I'm pretty sur that it's a region locked game

Only a small amount. You can apply the discount code when you buy the coins and get them for a reduced rate... and then apply the code to your purchase as well.

PM sent.

Can Fallout from the UK and Euro site still be activated on Steam? I'm thinking about buying it at that price, but I was originally planning on waiting until Ultimate is cheap.
