System Watch:

Some GameRushes have PS3's on their incoming shipping reports as arriving on Tuesday, December 5th. One of the local stores that actually received Wii's will receive 1 (One) PS3 ($600 Version) tomorrow. No firm reports on when the next shipment of Wii's will arrive.

Random News:

In a really strange turn of events, GameRush actually pulled a lot of PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games from Previously Played status and put them back up on the wall to rent. There are still plenty of used games for sale, but I thought this was an interesting move on Blockbuster's part.

FIFA 2007 for the Xbox 360 is currently listed at $40 new ($60 everywhere else). If you pre-order it and pay for it in full now, you should be able to pick it up when it releases and save yourself $20.

No luck at my GR. Since some GRs are closing this is the best way to get rid of inventory before shipping it off to a surviving store. From what I heard they plan on turning some of the GRs into a 'total access' zone.

Its most likley going to new games. GRs would much rather get rid of the new games while they can and keep the used games which they can sell forever.
 
Anyone know any decent flips for Best Buy clearances?

FYE's got nearly all the $1.99 clearances for $4-$12, i figure Gamerush probably'll give more.

I can't guaruntee any, and certainly not all, but I will go tomorrow and see what they have.

Hopefully this won't get leaked as badly as BB

yea, no problem i figure i would be lucky if they had 1 of those games but i do very much appreciate the offer and know that if you do grab anything i wont back out:)
 
so what is this 50% sale coming up? The first post hasnt been updated about it and I dont wanna read through alot of pages to find out.

Well, just check the last page before this one (#72). I put a list of the 360 games that are on sale tomorrow. That's all we really know except that there are PS2/XBox/GC games on there as well (and a very few PSP). These are new games, 50% off the sticker price. How long this lasts is unknown at present.
 
ok I see, no idea when they will start clearing older used games?

There are some gamecube games that I have been waiting for a drop on
 
I'm stopping by Gamerush tomorrow to take some movies back, but I doubt they'll have any of the clearance games marked this early. They usually get around to it on Wednesday or later if they bother to retag them at all. Hopefully they don't retag them until a list is posted here, although it doesn't matter much. I can always find any game I want at Gamerush and usually Circuit City. I'm depressed about the Best Buy thread I just discovered though...I may have actually gotten something if I'd noticed the thread earlier...misleading title. Ah well, I'll check while I'm out tomorrow and see what happens.
