Games for my mother (take 2)

So my mom loves the DS I got her for Xmas.

Shes looking for games "like the old atari, pacman, asteroids, frogger" that "aren't too hard" are "simple" and assumingly pick-up-and-play.

The only thing that popped into my head was geometry wars, but thats probably a bit too... intense for her.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Perhaps she would like Kirby Canvas Curse, New Super Mario Bros., or Wario Ware? There's also puzzlers, like Meteos, Tetris DS, and Planet Puzzle League. Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme might be good picks, if they weren't Japanese exclusives at the moment (though I doubt an English speaker would have any real difficulty with them).

I bet she'd have some fun with Brain Age. But of course, she could take that as an insult that you think she's stupid.

My mom loves the mini-games on New Super Mario. I also bought her Zoo Keeper, and True Swing Golf (Not a golfer, but the game mechanics make it fun for her to play). Most anyone will find something on Clubhouse games to play, and it's a lot of fun with multiple DS's.

I think I settled on Elite Beat Agents (she loves rock band), I'll give her my New Super Mario for the mini games (great suggestion), and maybe Picross.

thanks again for all the ideas - I love cag boards.

Club House Games-There's always something interesting to play
Brain Age 1&2-My mom loves these, Also has sudoku and Brain Age 2 has doctor Mario in it that my mom loves.
Tetris DS- even if she's played tetris to death it has new modes to play
Phoenix Wright-I told my mom it's like an interactive book to get her to try it.
Metroid Pinball-Good pinball game
Animal Crossing

Zoo Keeper is pure gold. Everyone including my Grandmother bought this game. My grandmother is 63 and loves it.

The namco museum would have a lot for her too, but they are not he best ports.

Also maybe Trace memory, or Hotel Dusk. Hotel Dusk is like a good mystery novel that she interacts with, very easy to get into.

Then theres new York Times Crossword Puzzles.

Does she like reading and/or CSI- type shows?

If so, give her Phoenix Wright.

It's VERY simple and VERY easy to pick-up-and-play (however, after about an hour, it MAY be hard to put it down since it may get intense)
