Link to Deal of the Week San Andreas for $3.75

Now the interesting part. Got an email/newsletter thing that offers 100 Microsoft points for the first 50,000 LIVE users to subscribe to the Games for Windows Newsletter.

Here is a link to the online version of the email:

Sign in using the email address associated with your GFWL/Xbox LIVE account and I guess if you are one of the first 50,000, then you should get 100 points code to that email 4-6 weeks after November 14th.

As you will notice, there is a graphic in the newsletter thing showing deal of the week: GTA IV 75% off, so that might be the next Deal of the Week starting on Thursday around the middle of the afternoon Pacific time if the past is any indication.

Personally I'm still waiting for Gears of War PC to be a deal of the week for $10 or less. Never found a new copy on disk for a decent price.

EDIT: Changed links

Thanks, between this and the Bing deal, I've been trying to wrack up enough points to not have to pay for one of the Fallout 3 DLCs.
neither of those links are working for me... they just bring me directly to the xbox.com website?
Go to the link with the actual email in it that has a link to sign up for the newsletter and click that. It seemed to work for me.

'$3.75?? Good lawwwd that's a lot of money!'

and links aren't working for me either, page just tries to verify my login (which should be fine thru cookies) and just stalls out, dammit! I'd sign up for that newsletter.

Try this link, should work whether you are already logged in or not.

Put in your email associated with your LIVE account if not already logged in, should work.

Microsoft's new Xbox.com interface on the computer seems to be a bit buggy still. Silverlight application in particular for me keeps crashing, at least on the FABLE 3 base page, like every time it loads in Chrome.

I also had a lot of stalling out when trying to add my wife's and other LIVE ids to the list to get more free points, but it worked eventually.
