Games you can't wait for their next-gen debut?

Fatesealer

CAGiversary!
Were there any games that appeared on Xbox/GC/PS2 that have yet to make an Xbox 360/PS3/Wii showing that you are looking forward to?

My list:
Klonoa 3 (hey, a guy can dream right?)
Red Dead Revolver sequel
Suikoden 6 or VI if they still go by Roman numerals
Rygar 2
Skies of Arcadia sequel

KOTOR 3 - I know it's coming, but the matter is when...
Max Payne 3 - I believe it's been in development for the next-gen for quite awhile now.
Katamari - It'll be even better on the Wii!

That's all I can think of for the time being.

While we're dreaming...
Samba de Amigo (as said, would be perfect for Wii)
NiGHTS
Panzer Dragoon

Then again, for any of these to happen, Sega needs to stop sucking.

max payne 3,midnight club 4,a mortal kombat game, counter strike 2 and a goldeneye 007 remake.

Smash Brothers
Skies of Arcadia 2
Kingdom Hearts 3
KotOR 3
Godzilla 3
Jade Empire 2
Katamari 3
Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart Wii
Medal of Honor Airborne
Resident Evil 5/ UC
Star Wars Battlefront 3
Tales of ...
Timesplitters 4
Unreal Tournament

A game that skipped the last generation but I would like to see again is Vigilante 8.

Halo 3
KOTOR 3
Ratchet & Clank (even though I have no shot at owning a PS3, I still want it to do well)
Crimson Skies 2
Forza 2
Max Payne 3
GT 5

And totally not on topic at all, how about Flight Simulator?

Eternal Darkness 2
MGS 4
Halo 3
Star Fox 64 #2
Heavy Rain
FFXIII
Assassin's Creed
SSBB with online multiplayer
Gears of War II
House of the Dead on Wii (come on Sega, you fucking assholes, use some common sense)
damn, that would be sweet.

Lost in Blue 2
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Metroid Prime 3
Metal Gear Solid 4
Grand Theft Auto 4
Street Fighter 4
Red Dead Revolver 2
Invader Zim RPG
It's A Wonderful World
Dragon Quest 9
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Forever Blue

What's so great about it being on the Wii? I'd rather use a light gun any day because...you know, it's a gun. It would work fine on the Wii, but I don't see why better over the 360/PS3 besides the fact you'd need to buy the light gun for those systems.

If you played Rayman on the Wii, you'd know why. There's no need to pay however many dollars on a light gun with the Wii. The regular controller is simply perfect.

A light gun game can be played with a controller (or Wii-mote), but it should be experienced with a light gun.

For me, the list goes:
Gex (yep, the gecko. fuck those who disagree!)
Street Fighter
Marvel vs Capcom 3 (never gonna happen, except in my wet dreams)
Bomberman (a real one, dammit, with Xbox Live play too, not that new Bomberman shit).
Deathrow
Grand Theft Auto
Harvest Moon
Mario Kart
Pokemon-full fledged RPG
True Crime
Fable

Valkyrie Profile
VP2 was my favorite RPG for the PS2 (VP:L was great too, if you got the A ending.).The only problem was that the ending provided no closure at all, even after seeing the scene after the credits. Honestly, I'd kill to see Lenneth, Slimeria, Hrist, and Freya in Next Gen graphics. VP:3 better get made.:bomb:

Haunting Ground
My GOTY for 2005, and my favorite Action/Adventure/Horror game of all time. It seemed so original and fresh when I played it, as I have never encountered the hiding system before (Yes, now I know Clock Tower 3 came first, but HG blows it out of the water.). The story definitly needs to be continued!

Besides the obvious Nintendo sequels (Mario Galaxy, SSBB, etc.), I want:

Fatal Frame
Shadow the Hedgehog (w/in-game graphics as good as the cutscenes in 1 and tightened up gameplay)
Dead Rising 2
Kururin (simply HAS to come out on Wii!!)
Seiken/Mana sequel (4 is out here, but I'll be patient and wait 3 months for the English one)
Castlevania
Guilty Gear (make a TRUE sequel already dammit!)
KOF XII
Sammy vs Capcom (cancelled last I heard *cry*)
Kingdom Hearts 3
Sega Rally
Metroid (2D on DS PLEASE!!!)
Crimson Skies 2

And totally not on topic at all, how about Flight Simulator?
:whistle2:s You mean Flight Simulator X on XBox360 right? Because the nex-gen Flight Simulator is already out on PC.

And Crimson Skies 2 would actually be Crimson Skies 3. The original was released on PC. I love Crimson Skies and would definitely like to see another sequel (on PC).

For Me:

Midtown Madness 4 (on PC Microsoft, not the Xbox!!!)
Loom
Wetrix DS
Tetrisphere DS
San Francisco Rush
Extreme-G
Beetle Adventure Racing
A new Donald Duck game
Pac Man Vs. DS
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Pilotwings
Wave Race
Forget SuperSmash Bros. Brawl, bring on Nintendo Vs. Sega!!!

A SEQUEL TO SKYGUNNER!!!!! This game is a lot of fun on the PS2.

If they could build on that engine and extend the gameplay with the next-gen graphics feel, I'll be a happy man :D
While we're dreaming...
Samba de Amigo (as said, would be perfect for Wii)
NiGHTS
Panzer Dragoon

I fully agree. Heck, I wish that something could be done to release Panzer Dragoon Saga for download on the Xbox 360 Arcade. Wow, that would be huge.

And for the person who wrote let's talk about new games, did you even read the title of the thread? You can't make your next-gen debut if you haven't had debut's elsewhere before.

Psi-Ops - I enjoyed this game and would love to see what they could do with next gen physics.

Ratchet and Clank - These games are beautiful on the PS2 and SDTV, I'd kill to see what they would look like on the PS3 in Hi-Def.

Fable - This was one of my favorite Xbox games. When I play Oblivion, I wish I was playing a next gen Fable.

Black - This game was compared to FEAR when it first came out... on the PS2. A PS3/360 version would kick ass.

And I believe the previous poster was referring to unannounced new games. Lots of people are saying Final Fantasy or MGS, those games are getting next gen sequels. What other games would you like to see get the same treatment.

Far as I understand a debut is a first performance. Next-gen is just the term we dorks use to describe the new consoles that are now available. Last gen was Xbox, GameCube, and PS2. The "next-gen" is now Xbox360, Wii, and PS3. So the phrase just means a first performance and whatever system is new now. Too bad things can only be new once. This is my world.

Back on topic! I am really looking forward to "No more Heroes" for the Wii, by Suda51 and Grasshopper of Killer 7 fame! A game which does everything Red Steel wanted to do, but executed completely wrong. This is the game that may finally give me a reason to purchase the system.

It's that hot!

The story of this title involves some dork (named Travis Touchdown) who bought a beam katana on an internet auction and now feels the need to try out his new toy by becoming a bounty hunter. He aims to defeat 10 of the most skilled hoodlums in the city for monetary gains and fame! All while riding a bad ass motorcycle (named the Schpeltiger) and having a giant closet full of awesome stylized t-shirts that you can choose to wear on your days out in Santa Destroy.

This is exciting and it's new! I bet it's going to be a horrible critique of the GTA series!

The game will have multi-stance sword fighting action! I get to actually live my nerdy fantasies of being a totally awesome killing machine! Parrying, dodging, finishing blows! You have to jiggle the joystick like a maniac when the beam katana runs out of juice! It is promising to be a fantastic title that up until now would not have been possible to do justice!

Drink that in!

Defeat random hoodlums because no petty thug can punk you around!

Magnificent clothes!

no-more-heroes-20061204053850159.jpg

Look at that wonderful, sprawling mess!

This is a mature themed title I can stand behind and scream "YES!" Here's a small interview for the few of you who's interest in this game is well founded! Best of all this is real and coming sometime in 2007 and it's not a mere pipe dream!

Many, many good mentions in this thread...but a few I did not see mentioned that I'd like to see:

Kid Icarus
Psychonauts
Hulk:Ultimate Destruction
A REAL, SINGLE PLAYER, EPIC PHANTASY STAR!!
Bionic Commando
Strider
Kid Icarus
We'll see Kid Icarus once Nintendo finishes running Metroid into the ground.

So maybe Game Boy 2?

Given what we know about SSB:Brawl, I'm hoping that might signify a resurrection of the title, but we'll see.

Don't forget they had a pretty well rendered Pit model in the GC version of Smash Bros.

In my more naive youth I thought this was a sign on things to come.

God bless you Pijai, No More Heroes fell under my radar, and I'm a big Grasshopper fan! Anything those guys make, I'm 100% backing them thanks to Killer 7. Looks amazing! Consider this my pick.
