GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Service Charges (GFC Premium):

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.
ragnar14, Do you want me to bid $14.00 as the actual bid (which doesn't include the $4.00 shipping that the seller charges) or did you want me to bid $10.00 which with the $4.00 is $14.00 total. Please specify :) I will send you an invoice once you let me know. Thanks buddy.
I'd want a bid of $14 + $4s/h = $18 + your fees should push it into the $22USD range. Which is around my acceptable max bid :) Of course I kinda doubt we'll win. I've only noticed 3 of these discs appear on eBay over the last couple years, and 2 of em sold for $50+ (the other one had a cheap Buy-It-Now). But it's eBay, maybe we'll get lucky ;)

Great news Ragnar14! You won it for only $5.26 shipped from the eBay seller. How's that for a good price ^_^ So much for you not planning on winning it :) Woo hoo!

If you could, send $10.50 USD to me at my personal account when you get a chance. I already paid for it and should mail it out in about a week. Thanks again!

Excellent :D That's why I like collecting rare stuffs. If it's rare enough nobody remembers what it's worth ;)

I'll send you the money within a couple hours, I just need to make my way over to my computer to do so. Oh, I'll use a credit card too, so it's fine if I use your business account? I'll tack on extra $$ of course, I know it ain't free.

Fanboy, I am not sure if I got any updated messages from you. I'll go to check and make sure it didn't go into the junk mail folder :)

ragnar14, yeah that's fine if you use my business account. I appreciate you remember to add a bit to cover the fees :) Thanks!

Thanks for the invoice Goomba but I've been talking to the ebay seller and he's a complete dufus and is obviously not dedicated to his auctions and keeps blaming everything on something else. Not worth doing business with.

spike32, yeah I know what you mean. I just wrote him though and he said, " Thanks I forgot what date was on there. I am back but on and off. My shipping is about a week behind. Let me know if you need anything. I can get items out up till Wednesday this week."

So if you did want to buy it from him, let me know. Thanks!

Na its fine, i'll probably look elsewhere. I just hate to keep requesting things from you then denying them, makes me feel like I'm using you  Thanks again for your time.

It's all good spike32. As long as it's not costing me anything, it's not a problem :) If I was buying all the items like I used to do in the past that'd be another story. You're all set in my book, no hard feelings =) Better luck next time!

You used to buy everything first :bomb: I can just imagine how that went.

Yeah it was a disaster. I got cheated a lot, so I stopped that really fast.

The good news is that my service has come along way and now things are very standardized with billing and such :) The more experience I get, the better my services will be for you guys. My service will mainly stay unchanged as time goes on, but it will get more and more streamlined and somewhat more automated as it goes on. Thanks for all your support everyone. I couldn't do it without you guys!

yea, you have nowhere to go but up! You got a solid system going on now. If only you could send us automated invoices, that'd save you a bunch of time ;) although that'd be confusing to set up. So I'm sure we all say Thanks to you too :D

I am working on something even better than automated invoices to be honest with you. It will work something like this:

1) You go to my Direct Request page (just like now) and fill it out like normal.
2) After you submit it will show you a summary of the order you want and ask you if you want to add additional items. If you do, then it will give you a chance to fill in more. You can add as many as you want.
3) Once you are done entering items, a summary page will show on the screen and give you a chance to verify it.
4) If you agree, then you will say OK and it will show a virtual invoice with an estimate of all costs, shipping and fees.
5) The page will give you a chance to pay right away with full payment instructions. GFC members (those who use direct payments/direct funds) will be given a discount equal to about 6%, and those who use a credit card will pay the standard fees as normal.
6) The page will generate a unique page for you to check out. If you aren't ready to pay right away, then you can come back to it (a link will be Emailed to you to return to) and only you can check out there. If you don't buy the items, then there's nothing else to worry about. It will clear out of the system in about a week or two and I won't have to worry about anything as it's all behind-the-scenes.
7) If for some reason your item needs special attention or you wish to contact me directly about it and do it traditionally, then you will have a link on there to do that.

How's that sound? That's my goal. I hope to have a system like this by the end of summer. We'll see ;)

I hate the idea, HATE IT! You took my idea, and you gave it a 1-up. How dare you outsmart me  Seriously though, I really hope you get that implemented, it would be completely awesome to see something like that happen.

LOL. I didn't steal your idea :) it's just that great minds think alike! I've been planning on this for a while now, but it's a bit of a Catch-22. I can grow my business a lot by automating things, but by doing so I'll make the system a bit robotic and less personal at the same time. I just have to find the right balance between the two.

At the moment I think I will run the system in another sort of BETA test. I'm not going to give myself a time table though because I know how awful I am at following any sort of schedule. I just tend to work best when I go with the flow :)

You guys will definitely be the first to know though. It's not at all impossibly hard to write the code really, the issue is that I want to do it right and as bug-free as possible. Thanks for your support though ^_^ Any and all feedback is always appreciated (even when it's negative).

That's great, the only thing better would be an option for us to buy things directly and have them shipped to you so all we'd have to pay you is for shipping from you to us.
so all we'd have to pay you is for shipping from you to us.
so all we'd have to pay you is for shipping from you to us plus service charge.
fxd. ;)

Actually Fuzzy, you already have that option! PM me and I will gladly give you my addresses :) Thanks! Anyone else has this option as well of course!

The system sounds really good, Goomba! Oh and the game arrived, no problems. Thanks a lot!

Thanks frictor, I'll of course let you guys see it when I get it in a working state. It's still a few months away from being 100% :) I don't want to reveal it until it's totally working after all. In the meantime, I'm working on the GFC Auction system ^_^ Things are going great with that!

Thanks for letting me know you got your game. =)

As always, just add roughly $5.00 to the price ($3 shipping and $2 for my service fee). If you buy through my site it's automatically added in. I believe there is like $0.25 extra now since our USPS prices just went up on the 11th by a little bit.

Get this game guys, it's awesome ^_^

Now that I am all caught up with all the orders you guys have put in with me over the last few months (with the exception of waiting on a few of your orders to arrive still), I am going to be far more aggressive with the udpating of the site. This means more items in the GFC store added weekly, more updates in the background and lots more. My new job schedule is truly a godsend in the sense that I have more time to devote to what I love doing =)

Here's another new addition to the GFC store:

- Cross Edge (Sony PS3) - $46.99 + Shipping

http://gamesforcanada.com/testing-hybrid-database.php?id=92

This game is going to be incredible for fans of the 5 companies that developed it. Nippon Ichi Software, Capcom, Namco Bandai, Gust, and Idea Factory...Darkstalkers, Disgaea, Mana Khemia, and Spectral Souls... Need I say more?

By the way, Cross Edge is a pre-order item (it comes out 05/26/2009). I have updated the listing to reflect this. Already sold one :) Hope to sell more. Don't miss your chance. This one may sell out fast like Chaos Wars did a while back.

Im usually with you Goomba but not this time around. Why would I order from you at a price of 61.44 CAD (including shipping) while I can get it faster at 59.99 CAD at amazon.ca or 61.44 CAD at Rosenqueen w/ bonus?

ichit4k4_set0, it's all good. I didn't know that Rosenqueen was giving out free Post Cards with their orders. That's pretty cool, actually. Does Amazon.ca not charge tax in Canada (I honestly don't know, so fill me in ^_^).

How much shipping does Rosenqueen charge to Canada for a single order? I may be able to save you money if we were to buy some of the Post Card sets in bulk. In any case, my deals aren't always the best ones. It says so right on my site :) but I do try to be competitive. If I can find a way to get the post card set cheaper, then I'll do so. Everyone likes freebies!

Tax varies according to what province you're in, as each province has their own tax (PST), except for Alberta. All residents will have to pay the base 5% federal level tax (GST), though.

RosenQueen now seems to have multiple shipping options (compared to their old store, I think?).

For a single order, you have a choice of (at least for me, in Alberta):
UPS Worldwide Expedited - $56.15
USPS Express Mail International (EMS) - 5 Days - $25.95
USPS Priority Mail International - 6-10 Days - $19.00
USPS First Class Mail International Package - $2.53

That's good that Rosenqueen has updated their shipping options. I just logged into their new site and they had a problem with my address (only recognized me as having a 4 digit zip code, when I have 5, so I just had to delete my account and make a new one). Looks like they have a lot of website server errors (comes along with a new site, as I would know lol). But they'll get it ironed out I'm sure.

Again, by all means if you can save money with Rosenqueen directly :) do so. My small little goomba feelings won't be hurt ^_^

Yes. I figured they updating the shipping to Canada as it used to be so expansive. Problem is I selected the 2.53 shipping and was still charged 56.15. Seriously, their system is so buggy, I contacted them twice and in no am I gonna pay 50$ shipping. lol

Anyhow, thanks for the reply Goomba, no hard feelings at all. I just wished you had those postcards too :)
Now let's just hope the game is any good.

Their new system is REALLY bad at the moment. I emailed them to tell them some of the problems I was having with their site and they said "Yeah, we have been getting a lot of Emails like that. We're working on it".

I can definitely sell the ones with the Post Cards. I'll just be selling them at cost pretty much. The game should be good. Do you want me to list the one with the post cards? If I buy like 10 of them I would pay only $2.00 shipping to the US per copy (with the post cards).

** IMPORTANT UPDATE **

You may have heard me say this once or twice in the past, but I really mean it. If you put in a direct request with me on my website, I will try to send you out an invoice within 24 hours (99% of the time I can). If you don't hear from me within say 48 hours, please Email me to let me know. Some orders may get picked up by SPAM filters or lost in the virtual post.

Here's the new part: If you do not reply to my invoice sent out, or pay within 7 days of receiving my invoice, I will cancel your order. This is to keep the system unclogged with potential orders that just sit and sit for months. Doing this will mean better efficiency for those of you who are ordering items as well as for me who won't have to be bogged down by past requests that are just sitting there.

Again: If you put a direct request, you will hear from me within 24 hours generally. If you do not, feel free to Email me at: [email protected] . If you do not pay or reply to me within 7 days of receiving an invoice, your order will be erased from my system. Thanks guys!

** Cross Edge with Rosenqueen Post Cards Offer **

Okay here's the deal guys. If you want the Rosenqueen Post Cards bonus with "Cross Edge" I can get them for you. The more people interested the cheaper it will be to have it shipped to me. If I order just one or two then Rosenqueen is going to charge me around $5.00 shipping per item. If we can get 10 of you interested then we pay only $2.00 per item (which saves you $3.00 essentially). If you are interested please let me know as it's very limited (only 1000 available total). I wouldn't mind a copy myself so we basically need 9 people. Thanks!

Howdy Goomba, I wonder if you still remember me? :) How much was that 8GB microsd you sent to Fuzzy? School is letting out in 2 weeks so I'll be back video games soon enough.

psyck0, yes I do get free shipping. I subscribe to Amazon Prime ^_^

PuppetYuber, I didn't even look. I ordered two from Amazon a while back (one for me and one for Setite). Nobody seemed interested before when I offered. I can probably still get one if you want. Let me know!

Ya I am looking to pick up both DDS 1 and 2, and possibly a cheap Nocturne (but probably impossible to find). Let me know how much that will cost me after all the fees.

Yeah, I wish more of you guys were interested in Nocturne when I had like 15 copies of it :) I ended up selling them at a loss on eBay just to get rid of my stock. Bummer ^_^;; Oh well. That's why I don't pre-buy a lot of merchandise any more. I lost wwwaaayyyy too much money speculating what would be a good seller. So now I go for the buy-when-requested model.

Keep in mind DDS2 will cost more to ship as it comes in a large box with the plushie (assuming I can still get them). I'll try to get back to you by Tuesday. Thanks!

psyck0, I do get free shipping but let me clarify: Only if the item is sold from Amazon.com. If it is an affiliated merchant than I have to pay shipping like everyone else. I see on your request your items were from a non-Amazon.com seller so therefore the items (including the free one) would have shipping fees. Let me know if you want an invoice still. Thanks!

sonictam, You can use Paypal to convert CAD to USD automatically. If you have Paypal, then you can send USD. Simple as that :) They do the conversions for you.

PuppetYuber, I only have Devil Summoner 2, not DDS2 these days. I had them all at one point but sold them when I needed money. Such is life :(

I already pre-ordered Devil Summoner 2 off amazon.ca and got a copy of Devil Summoner 1

only missing Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2. Amazon.com have DDS1 for 35 dollars.

I am not expecting to get Nocturne, $80 + for a ps2 games is to much for me
