GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Hey Goomba,

Was thinking about getting a copy of the US Walmart exclusive Transformers 2 Blu Ray.

If I wanted one, do you think you'd be able to stop by a Walmart at some point in the next week or so before you shipped out my stuff to pick one up for me?

Just let me know if it's possible, thanks =)

Hey there gsrce, I can certainly (or I should say MORE THAN LIKELY) get you a copy. It's available on their website so if they don't have it in my local store I'd be happy to order one for you. I've had about 4 or 5 CAGs order them so far. Looks like a great little Blu-Ray :) Thanks again!

Hey Goomba, I sent you an email about the Gamefly deal with a couple questions, if you could shoot me a reply whenever you get a chance that would be awesome!

Hey goomba478, I'm a new customer and I just sent you my first DR for an ebay purchase. I'm not sure if you bid in increments or just bid the max but I'm sure whatever you do, it works. Now I just hope the bidding price doesn't sky rocket before you even get my request! :p

moatez, I responded to your Email but in case you didn't get it here is my response:

Gamefly Questions & Answers:

1) Gamefly sends you brand new cases/manuals with all orders. What they do is use just the disc for their rentals and then they keep all their cases in the back for people when they purchase their used copies. 99% of the time you get MINT/Near Mint copies of case/manuals.

2)
The games themselves do not have any markings to show they are rentals. Occasionally some discs may have scratches or buff marks (most don’t but Wii/Xbox 360 and older games in particular will show signs of use. They aren’t marked as Gamefly games though if that’s what you’re thinking

3)
They ship very fast. In most cases it takes 3-4 days to get here as they use USPS First Class Mail (just like I do).

4)
As for how much the games would be, it’d be the same as always for service charges and shipping. If you want to send a direct request I will lay it all out for you. Thanks man!

ironchefff, I use sniping programs for the eBay purchases. So it won't bid until around 4-6 seconds before the auction ends with your Max Bid. eBay uses proxy bidding which means if you win the auction, you typically win it for less than your Max Bid :) I am sending you your invoice now. Thanks for using GFC!

Thanks for the quick reply goomba! Surprised that you're working weekends too. I sent you an email just to iron out some details out. :p

Yup, I work 7 days a week :) A workaholic I am. Thanks again for your order. I responded back to you so whenever I get your payment I'll put in the bids for you in my program. Cya soon!

Huh... The camera I want is on sale by $6 at amazon from another dealer...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...w?ie=UTF8&qid=1256541288&sr=8-1&condition=new
Product Dimensions: 7 x 5.2 x 4.8 inches ; 2.8 pounds

Goomba how much did you say that was to ship to Canada? $10 or so?

For $6 in savings, I may decide to jump on this a month before I was planning to get it (Was going to get it as a birthday present for myself next month... but... I havn't seen any savings on this since it came out in August).

Rogan, that's great. Yes I estimate it will be around $11 to ship to Canada give or take a dollar or two (shouldn't weigh that much I assume as it's meant to be a lightweight camera, right?). Let me know =)

As for all you others. I'm going to be working around 6-7 hours today alone on shipping your items (I have that many items lol). Keep an eye on your inboxes. I'm still doing them in the order the orders were placed, so newer orders may have to wait another day or two before they ship out.

I have so many orders that I'm considering to call out of my day job tomorrow to catch up. Thanks for keeping me busy :)

My apologies Tetsugen. You sent the order to my CAG inbox and I didn't see it. Please in the future always use the Direct Request form as it's the only one that contacts me directly (I have a pretty specific system I use for orders to keep track of everything). Also, your girlfriend/wife's makeup order is all set so I assume you'll want me to ship that seperately once it gets here to save on shipping/customs. I'll go send your invoice now. Sorry to hear about the CAD again.

Sent payment for the Sanyo Xacti since it's on low stock. Hopefully, I can save $3 and get it from Expo Electronics :p (Amazon just lowered their price too, so it ain't overly bad).

Again, as my email/payment sent says, I have a moderately high paypal balance (~$40) that eChecks don't deduct from which is dumb, and about $35 in amazon gift cards... SoooooOOoOoo... with that in mind... Refund fun stuff later :p

Rogan, unfortunately I really am strapped for cash this month. I had a ton of bills to pay and I've been putting all my profits towards paying off credit cards so..... errr yeah I really can't order it right now unfortunately.

There... Sent instant cash via credit card. Refund it all when my eCheck clears between Nov. 4th and 6th... Hopefully this won't be too much of a hassle this time :p

Okay I got your second payment. I'm sorry that I couldn't do it with my direct money but I promise I'll refund you as soon as the eCheck clears. I'll go ahead and order your item too. Can you please tell me the exact one you want me to order to make sure I get it 100% right? Thanks!

Consider it ordered my friend :) I'm going to sleep soon btw. It's already 3:30 AM here...yikes! Good thing I'm taking off tomorrow to have a GFC packing day =P

Alright. I'll probably order a mini gorillapod tripod and maybe a pouch. Again, you can open it up and check if anything is broken.

We'll work on when I want to ship it... As for now... It's simply a CAD protector :p

Thanks again Goomba for your awesome services :p This thing would have costed me over double in CAnada.

Hey Goomba, any idea what's the usual shipping time to Belgium/how many days USPS usually holds a package before shipping?

You mailed the Zune on the 14th, meaning it should have most likely gotten here unless there's a delay somewhere

Hey goomba,

Thanks for the bento lunch boxes. I received it a couple of weeks ago, just letting you know that they're awesome. So you should totally get some. :)

Oh, also about my order for Tekken 6, did you receive the e-mail I sent about it? Basically, I want it shipped to my university address that you have on file, instead of my home one. Thanks again!

Goomba, received the leather book cover today, thank you so much! Will leave feedback soon. Prices at Amazon are so much better than Amazon.ca, now to decide what else to get hehe.

Vhalyar, I just got your positive feedback so I'm assuming that means you got it safely? Please let me know just to be sure. Sounds like a pretty awesome music/video player!

constellation, that's awesome to know. I think I will definitely pick up some now. My wife really liked it lol. As for Tekken 6, yes I got your Email :) I will mail it to your university as soon as I get it in (should be any day now). Thanks!

blackric, I'm so happy to get all of these "I love my product, thank you so much" messages today :) Glad that my service is working out for all of you! Today I stayed home to ship, ship, ship, ship, ship and I'm quickly catching up. Still have about 40 orders left but thankfully most of the big ones are packed up now.

Setite, I got your memory cards in! I'm typing up your invoice as we speak ^_^

Oh okay well, I do appreciate the feedback. I'm sure your Zune will be there any day now. Customs in Europe has a tendency to sort of drag their feet with International First Class Mail for some reason. No worries :) We got insurance so you should be all set. Just hang in there buddy!

hey goomba, thanks for letting me know about the movie coming in and thanks for checking on it. I sure as hell hope it wasn't like that when he sent it to you or else he's a complete dumbass. Thanks for opening it up and fixing it, I don't care as long as it comes in good shape :D

Thanks.

spike32, yeah you're welcome. I thought it was odd to hear it jiggling around like that and I didn't want to open it and unseal it, but I figured you'd rather have some torn shrink wrap than have a scratched up DVD. Luckily the disc looked perfect so there shouldn't be any problem. If the item had been damaged I would have returned it for you or gotten you a refund. So I'm glad it all worked out :) Thanks for understanding. You should get them sometime early next week I hope!

Hey Goomba, for my camera, can you think of anything else I may find useful besides a small gorillapod tripod? I can't think of anything (I have a spare 16 GB SDHC), but I don't want to forget something :p

RoganSarine, not really. I mean you can always get into cases and that sort of thing but it's a pretty small camera so you're not going to need that much really. If you already have your SDHC card and the camera and a tripod...that's really about it. They already shipped it to my house by the way so it should be here any day now :) Thanks!

Oh, that was fast. Heh... Well, I'll probably order a gorilla pod -- those things look nifty for traveling -- I do have a regular tripod but it's not like I can take those places very easily.

The camera apparently has a sleeve that's in the box which is all that I need -- I just want to prevent scratches deep when it's in my bag because I assume it's glossy.

The camera itself is also only like 200 grams, so I can get the cheap $15 gorilla pod and be on my way... a 2nd battery would be nice or a car charger... but... really... those are just uselessly expensive.

The only downfall to the camera is a lack of usb charging.

You're right; it came in a few hours after you posted. I was getting scared since my coworkers kept saying that Belgian customs are greedy bastards and I should be expecting to pay some hefty taxes, but in the end there was just a 10€ processing fee. Oh and thanks for the little note, that was neat :D

Concerning the Zune it's really a surprising device; so light and sleek. Same goes for the software, I could watch the way the screen animates when a song is playing all day. I don't care much about apps, so the form factor and ease of use pretty much trump the iPhone's.

hey goomba, I just had a general question for you about shipping from the States, since you do quite a lot of it; my father is buying an item from Pennsylvania, it's 15lbs, and costs $25USD via UPS from Pennsylvania to my house in Toronto. Do you know what sort of taxes/duties/brokerage fees he'd be subject to with the item crossing border? Thanks!

I'm not too sure on how that would be, but if it's UPS and if the brokerage fees aren't included in the $25... Then he's probably going to end up paying a lot.

I don't know how UPS judges their brokerage fees, but I recommend never using UPS for cross border shipments. It breaks any deal I've ever thought I had.

I once had a computer that was the price of the video card being shipped to me that I won on eBay. UPS then changed the value of the item and wanted to charge me the value of the computer I paid for in brokerage fees nearly. I bought the computer for like 200 and the brokerage fees were 150.

Thankfully, they shipped the item to me before collecting the fees, so I told them to shove it.

Game Fanatic, a word of advice... If you're gonna get it shipped phone them on the lowest value that the item needs to be to not get charged brokerage fees. I think it's $20, but $60 if it's a gift.

On top of that, if you get it expedited you will not have to pay the brokerage fees -- generally in UPS terms that means free expedite shipping.

Well I think I should mention the item he's buying is $193USD, and in Canada the cheapest price he's seen is $363. I think he's worried that he'll get dinged a $100 duty/brokerage fee, which would kill the deal somewhat. I think even if he gets charged $50 or so it's still a good deal, but that's just me.

He'd pay the $29 ($41 if the item is $200 - $400) brokerage fee that UPS charges on top of GST, maybe PST, and duties.

Do not get it shipped via UPS. Ever. EVER. USPS, DHL Global, or nothing.
TheCurse9, no worries. I did indeed receive your copy. I should have all the copies mailed out by Friday. Just have a lot of packages to order and as always I process packages in the order I get them and in the order that they were put in from you guys. I try to be as fair as possible :) keep an eye on your Email inbox.
Hi Goomba!

Don't want to be a pain in the a** but I didn't received any shipping confirmation from you (for my copy of Demon's Souls Deluxe) in my Inbox since last friday. I'm really anxious to play this great game!

Thanks!

Sooo, send it to Goomba ;) There's virtually no way Goomba couldn't ship it cheaper than the brokerage charge.
Thankfully, they shipped the item to me before collecting the fees, so I told them to shove it.
Hah, they did that to me somewhat recently. Like I'm just going to hand over $40 for my $20 game like a retard after the fact

Hi Goomba,

I think I'm going to pass on the Transformers Blu that I was thinking about.

As of now, you should only be waiting on the Matrix from WB, as the three games and Windows upgrade seem to have all been delivered, so be sure to send me an invoice once you have everything please =)

(BTW, my address has changed since the last time you sent items to me, if you remember, you tried to rush them out for me so I'd get them before my move, so I'll send you an updated one by PayPal when I have your invoice =D)

Hey Goomba! I sent you a DR but I'm not sure if it'll get to you in time. There's about less than 4 hours left in the auction but if not, that's ok. =)

hey goomba, i think we lost the bid on the ebay right? i'm not sure what happens now but can i send you another DR if i find another suitable auction?
Easier said than done. It's easy to say "Don't have it shipped UPS", but this company ships ONLY UPS.
Isn't this pretty much why goomba started this in the first place? We either get no shipping from the US or we get raped by the fees.
