GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Afterburn999, I went to Target yesterday to check it out and they didn't have any of the controllers you were looking for. They only had officially licensed Xbox 360 controllers. None of the discount/cheaper wireless models. Sorry to say :(

Why you should order from Goomba: My Story

No this isn't some cheezy love story, it is actually kind of bizarre.

So I needed a new phone, hate contracts, and actually find prepaid to be much cheaper for my purposes. I like PIM devices, so but BB's and iPhones are tied to (expensive/voice) data plans. Enter the Palm Centro. It has reviewed well, _tons_ of software for it, syncs with Outlook, Thunderbird, Mail, gmail, google calender, etc, does email, _and_ it runs Garmins and Googles GPS software.

Rogers was selling it for $400 without a contract. That is $100 more than MSRP! I could order an unlocked one directly from Palm Canada for $300! Unfortunately the unlocked version only comes in white, which was a little too fembot for me. So Goomba ordered me a black AT&T one off eBay, which came to about $290 shipped (it slipped through customs, which was nice).

Five days after Goomba shipped, I am vibrating with excitement for phone to arrive. Decide to walk down to Post Office, on the off chance it has arrived already (unlikely due to me being in rural NS). What luck! It has arrived early. I kill the first hour after lunch doing nothing but playing with the phone, just loving it, feeling sorry for BB and iPhone owners.

An hour into ownership, still sitting at my desk still playing - not doing work, I get am email from Palm Canada: Apparently when I was researching the Centro, I entered a Contest on Palm's website, and have won a Palm Centro! Within an hour I went from 0 to 2 phones!

I didn't post this story until the contest Centro arrived, so as to not jinx it. Just got Contest Centro twenty mins ago. Anyway, the moral of the story is, buying from Goomba brings you good luck. :applause:

As an aside: I have a black unlock Palm Centro, used for two weeks, had a "Best Skins Ever" one it from day 1 for sale. As mint as it gets. Cost me $317 including skin and shipping. I let it go for $200 here ($215 shipped). Otherwise I am going to put it on eBay for $250. I am selling the black one shown here: http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/13/palm-centro-review/ (except mine has AT&T branding, and is GSM).

Thanks Goomba,

~S

That's right ... you heard it here folks :) Buy from me and you'll win free stuff from random web contests ^_^ Wow! That's awesome snowsquirrel...I'm so happy for you =) Congratulations! Thanks for the kind words and recommendations. They are always appreciated. Best of luck to you.

Thanks very much Goomba for the XBL card...what a great deal ($43US)and such a FAST response. I had the code within hours - highly recommended!!!

Yes for those of you interested... I am no longer able to get the XBL cards at my old rate, so I will continue to sell the ones I have at $43 USD...only have about 4 left. So if you want one, get them while they're available =)

Hey Goomba, I'm new but I've been lurking these boards for almost a year, and I was wondering if it was possible for you to get one of those $2 HDMI cables from amazon.com, I placed an order in your website as Gabriel C.

Right, I ordered the smallest one and it came to about $8, which would have been the same as goomba's I think, thanks Firestorm. :)

Okay then :) I'm glad you worked that out. Sorry I didn't give you a price sooner...I was at work and they kept me overtime last night (until around 5AM...yikes). Glad you got your part ordered ^_^

Umm, I got the cheapest one I saw wich was $3.96 for a 1.5ft and the shipping was about $3.98 or something, so it all came to $8...
Yeah, thanks anyways Goomba :)

Awesome. Thanks constellation! I appreciate that :) Now I know where to go if I need to stock up on more. I have exactly 4 left now of the old batch ^_^ Get them while they're hot.

Ragnar, I can definitely order you the YU (I thought of you guys when I got the Email from Atlus about it). I'm not sure if it's US exclusive or not, as sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't, but if you want me to order it let me know and I will do so :)

It doesn't say it's US exclusive, but Gamestop exclusive generally means Gamestop/EB USA exclusive. Goodies usually only work their way up here when they're going everywhere. I figure there's a

Don't worry Jest I'm doing that right now ^_^ Sorry. I have had an absolutely crazy last two weeks between working my two jobs, going to Poker school 3 hours every day (trying to switch to a new casino opening up that has different requirements), and all the craziness around my household and side businesses :) My apologies. Your item has already shipped though. Invoice coming up right away (I promise).

It is a lot of fun working in a casino (most of the time) but it'll be a LOT more fun if I get to work at this new casino's poker room...because dealers keep their own tips! Actually, this is the norm for poker rooms, but my current employer (Foxwoods) is one of the world's only casinos where dealers pool for poker...and it sucks =P 5 More days of class and then I have to audition for the 5 major games. Wish me luck folks ^_^

Great news guys. I have finished my classes with the poker school and I'm back to my semi-normal schedule again :)

Even better news for some: Amazon.com has let me know that they've shipped out the promotional Izuna 2 posters so I should have those orders out that included them. For those of you who have been patiently waiting, thanks for understanding :)

Feel free to write to me to confirm that your orders are up to date if you haven't yet received your items. THANKS!

Congratulations!

Thanks Dan :) It took a lot of work (and it was hard to pull off while working two jobs, and involved a LOT of broken sleep) but it's overwith now. I officially got an employee number, went through licensing and registration and even got fitted for uniforms.. The only weird thing is that I do not yet know if I'm officially hired or not, but I'm assuming (and praying) that after all of that I will be. It's more of a matter of time now as far as I understand it.

I appreciate all the kind words of congratulations :)

Whoa really? Where are you moving to Jeffx? I'd love to know =) It'd be cool to meet some of you guys in person some time for sure. I've only met one CAG in person to date and it was only for a few minutes. Let me know =)
Hey Goomba, I'm looking for the Tales of Vesperia LE, was wondering whats the best deal you can get me for it?
You have more luck for that in Canada than finding one from US. GS has it online only and was sold out already. Amazon.com has backordered it for more than 3 weeks backed up. I heard buy.com has it but it may not be the case any more. This is going to be rare indeed. Thank god I made my preorder at EBGames. They are getting in-store today.

Maigoyume, the cheapest I have found the Tales of Vesperia LE is from Amazon.com for $70. I can do $76 USD shipped to Canada if you're interested. Let me know :) Thanks!

Dan, your Disgaea 3 Honor Student set has shipped out today. Thanks!

EB got their pre-order in today. maigoyume, I think sucking it up and going to EB is the best best. Amazon.com does not even seem to have enough to fill pre-orders. Although EB might not either, but they just got their shipment this morning so if any of those aren't pre-orders you should try getting it from them asap. This one actually seems limited.

Aie, I didn't pre-order the Vesperia LE. I assumed it would be common, as it's common to see various 360 collectors editions just sitting on the shelves lately. Personally I'm going to check HMVs, they always seem to have stuff kicking around.
what is your problem with EB personally anyway?
I'm just not a fan of the way they go about with their used game prices, that and the gutted games

Oh and I was sold a "new" game last time that was obviously opened, played with and resealed.

Edit: Ragnar do you mind letting me know if you find any?

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all of the business you guys have given me over the last couple of months :) I'm glad that we're in the unique position of helping each other out. Please note that with very few exceptions, I will not be ordering items before payment is received because believe it or not I have been burned on a couple of occasions where I ordered items for people and then sent the invoice out and never heard from them again. I get stuck with items (that in many cases I can't resell due to the unique nature of the items or really, really individualized items) and therefore I lose quite a bit of money.

So if you are seriously considering to order something that's great :) I will order it for you as soon as you pay the invoice I send you and mail it out as soon as it comes in. Otherwise, if you just ask me a price of something...that's fine too, but realize that I won't actually order it until I receive payment. If the item is no longer available by the time you pay, I'm sorry about that, but I can't just keep ordering stuff for people and having a long list of people that owe money on items. Perhaps if I was in better financial standings, but I'm not unfortunately :(

Thanks again for everything guys!

It's really unfortunate that people had to go and do this :(

I don't think it's necessarily intentional. I mean some of the people ordered things they genuinely wanted, but occasionally I'll get messages like:

"I found it locally for a few bucks more so I want to cancel my order". That's all fine and good if I haven't actually ordered it, but if I've already paid to have it shipped to my house and packaged it up, it's a huge waste of money and time on my part.

By only ordering after payment is received I'll avoid situations like this.

Another situation that's coming up a lot lately is "Can you send me the item first and I'll pay later"... Again, in the past I had no problem doing this, but some orders I've ordered almost two months ago and have not received payment for. So for the time being I can't ship before payment is received. Sorry guys, I'm sure the majority of you understand as most of you are excellent at communicating and paying :) Thanks for understanding!

I'm also shocked that some people here actually do that. At the very least, you should demand payment first to new customers of your service. People shouldn't ask to order something they won't want/afford.

Azumangaman, yes I went ahead and ordered your items for you. I haven't sent your invoice because I wasn't sure of the item costs. Let me send you an estimated invoice now and if it turns out the shipping is more expensive/cheaper I'll adjust it later on through refund or supplemental invoice. ^_^ I have no idea how long the items will take since I've never ordered from this site before (obviously), but it shouldn't take too long I would expect.

Let me send you an estimated invoice now :)

Don't feel sad Jest :) I don't think they were intentionally trying to screw me over. There's always a slim chance they'll still come back and pay for the items in the end...if not I'll probably try eBaying them to at least make back some of the money. You're one of the good ones so no worry ^_^

Good news guys, I'm putting together a reward system that will tie into my existing PrizePiggy website. PrizePiggy has been on hold for a while since I've been putting most of my attention on GamesForCanada services and eBay store items, but I will be bringing back PrizePiggy with a new reward system. More on this in the next few weeks as I put everything together :)

Let's just say that every purchase you make through my services you will be one step closer to free goodies ^_^ More on this exciting new service soon!
