GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

hey goomba, have you sent off the invoice for those cans yet?? After your posts about not getting paid I wanna make sure I get you your money ASAP! Thanks!

Game_Fanatic, your headphones are actually being delivered to my house any minute (just got word from UPS) so I was waiting until I had them in hand to send your invoice. That way I can get the shipping price more accurate for you :) Not to worry ^_^ You'll have it soon enough. Thanks again!

=JJ=

I agree 110% with prepaying. I just makes sense, you're not making a huge profit margin here, we shouldn't be putting you in positions like that.

That said, you still haven't invoiced me for my recent eBay item (which you paid for out of pocket) and my Yggdra Union Gamestop preorder. My monies, take them:whee:

Ragnar14, don't worry I didn't forget about you either ^_^ This has been a crazy week, but thankfully things are cooling down. The reason I'm slightly behind on invoices is that I was moving all my older orders/customers into my new system one by one and it took a while (I'm up to nearly 100 customers in total now!). Also, I'm keeping paper records of every order (for the inevitable tax season next April) and I want to make sure everything is in place. Doing so is what really caused me to notice the sheer number of orders I had put in for people that never paid. My new system will make it a lot easier to find these types of orders sooner and because I will not be ordering items before payment, it means there will be 0% risk on my end.

Your invoice should be ready sometime mid-day tomorrow :) I assure you. I am pretty sure yours is the last one that needs to go out (Invoice wise). I didn't forget about you my friend ^_^

Hey goomba!
Payment is sent! Thanks for everything and I may have another order coming your way very, very soon.
HINT: Vikings.com is charging $82(!!!!!!) shipping for an authentic jersey thats on sale for 40% off.

Thanks guys for everyone writing to me and expressing their gratitude and best wishes. I'm happy to say that only two or three of the orders now have not been paid for, which is a significant improvement over when I recently wrote that many people had not paid. I guess my reminder had brought a lot of their attention and we're back on track :)

We are slowly but surely moving out of the past and into the future my friends ^_^ Great things are coming to the GFC website soon. Just wait and see :)

Ragnar, I sent you an invoice for Yggdra Union PSP + Preorder CD + Your 2 Sega Press Kits :) Thanks! I think I've caught up with everyone's invoices now.

If you ordered something from me but haven't received an invoice yet, please let me know. I wouldn't want your order to slip through the cracks ^_^

I got goomba to order some Final Fantasy Trading Arts figures for me from the US Square-Enix store. Everything arrived quickly, was packaged exceedingly well, and communication was awesome throughout the whole process! Definitely one of the best transactions I've ever had on this site (and that's saying something!).

:)

Marcus, I'm glad you got them ^_^ I knew they'd get there safely and sound. The figures look really, really, really awesome and I was really jealous haha but that's the nature of this business, right?

Just so you guys know...sometimes when I ship out multiple packages to you on the same day...they occasionally will get to you at different times. This has to do with the way the Post Offices do their business, and especially with customs. If a package is held a day or two longer, they will ship the others ones to you first...nothing I can do about that. So if you order more than one package/shipment from me and only get one. Don't fret. Chances are the other ones will be a day or two behind them :)

Thanks again everyone. Glad to see so many happy Canadians this week ^_^

Are you referring to the exclusive Amazon.com Super limited set? I'm limited to one per household for each of the systems and I think I'm all filled up at the moment. I may be able to ask a friend of mine to order it on behalf.

If you're just talking the original version or even a regular limited edition set then I can do that no problem. If you're talking the exclusive Amazon one, it may be tricky but I'll see what I can do :) When are you moving to New Zealand magiic?

I dont carw what version it is. Whatever is cheapest. I just want to be able to play even if I have to run it on low settings on my Macbook Pro I just want to be able to play it before I get back. I am leaving for New Zealand on Sept.26 and will be there for 10 months.

Oh in that case of course I can :) GamesForCanada is only for Canada in name...I can of course ship to any country. My terms are still the same. Just be sure to give me your new address. I can definitely get you anything you need =) Be sure to tell your friends in NZ about me ^_^

When I make friends I will be sure to let them know. I will let you know my address whenever I get one lol. I dont even have a place to stay yet so we can cross that bridge when I get there.

Haha no problem. I'm sure you'll keep in touch plenty with the CAG group and this thread as well :) I got your back. I'm also very jealous...New Zealand is extremely beautiful ^_^ Take care. I gotta get ready for work now.

Is it okay if I start telling more people about the site (like creating a topic on GAF?)

And how do you think you'd be able to do if say a dozen people or more wanted a game from you during an Amazon sale or something? Would Amazon even let you order over a dozen copies of the same game?

Yes that'd be great if you could help me spread the word Firestorm :) I feel comfortable enough with orders now and the process of everything :)

Amazon has no problem with ordering multiple copies of games (at least I never had a problem with it). One time I ordered almost 30 copies of a single game for my online store and it went off without a hitch. The only exception are those special order items that they sometimes limit to one per household. In these cases I can always ask friends of mine to order them for me if necessary or I can use one of my relatives and have it shipped to their house I suppose.

By all means help me spread the word ^_^ I would definitely welcome more business =) Thanks!
Didn't read all ~40 pages, but do you deal with things other than games? Specifically a camera lens from amazon.com :)
he deals with anything and everything, except I assume no-mailable items. Lenses are definagely A-OK. I was going to get him to hook me up with a 5D
Dooooon't buy the 5D yet! It's successor should be out in a few months.
I will be on the otherside of the world in a few weeks so that isn't really an option. But I decided against it anyways, I need the money for my trip as much as I'd like to bring a 5D with me I'm going to have to make do with my XTi

I only have two of the XBL 13 month cards left. I'm selling them for $43 still.

and yes I can order/ship/sell anything. not just games. In the future I may very well rename the service "Stuff For Canada" :) as it seems games are only about half of my orders as of late. Thanks for filling in newbies while I'm away at work ^_^ much appreciated! I can see why you wouldn't want to read through 40 pages =)

I'm considering to make some short flash videos/youtube videos explaining my services. Might make it easier for newcomers :) Thanks guys! My 6 straight days of working are over...I have my first day off tomorrow (Tuesday) in a long time. *PHEW*

Hey goomba!

I've got a couple orders from Amazon.com I'd like to place with you!

Gears of War 2

For this I'd like to get the Limited Edition. If you've got more questions just send me a PM!

Fallout 3

Limited Editions. Yes I am part of the problem

Hey there Rex, I'd be happy to order those for you. I may have to pull some strings though because I've already ordered one of the Survival Editions for another CAG so I'd have to ask one of my friends/relatives to order it for me. Would you like me to send you an estimated invoice? If you do then I'll ask one of my friends to order it and he'll give it to me, to mail to you (if that makes any sense). Thanks!

Payment received :) Thanks so much Azumangaman. That means a lot to me. I really can't take all the credit though...without you guys there really wouldn't be much of a service ^_^ Keep doing what you do and together we will both be happy. Thanks guys as always!

Hey guys, I want to know what you think of a GamesForCanada Rewards system I'm considering. I can't do anything that is strictly point based on what you buy, but I'm considering to do something point based on the service fees you pay through my service. What I'm considering is to give you back 25% of what you pay in service fees for every order into a prize bank, which you can redeem for free games, merchandise, etc.

Here's an example:

You buy an item from me and pay a $2 Service Charge x 25% Reward Points = $0.50 in points. To keep it less confusing I'd assign a point system similar to Microsoft Points or Wii Points or whatever. So say instead of having $0.50 you'd have 50 points...

Then I could have a website (I'm considering to link it with PrizePiggy.com) where you could cash in say 500 points to get a DS game, or 1000 points to get a better game, and so on. What do you think? Would it be worth it to you guys if I had a decent prize system? It wouldn't cost you anything extra and it'd be a small way of giving back to you. The prizes could be included for free shipping if included with your next order, which also saves on that end of it. Let me know :) I'm looking to start this as soon as October 1st so any input you guys can give me would be great.

I'd also consider allowing you to purchase points at face value to make up the difference if there was a prize you wanted. Let me know! Your feedback means everything ^_^

Sounds great, but do I get points for the hundreds I've spent already :p ?
I don't really care though, because I plan on getting stuff from you as long as you keep the business going.
But its a superb idea, but is there a profit for you in it?
You could up the service fee to like $3 or something...I don't know.

Yes I would be retroactively giving you guys rewards based on past purchases :) I may have to increase service fees in the future, but at the moment they're staying where they are. I'm more concerned with quantity of orders than I am at making maximum profit on each one. If you have any other ideas or input you'd like to give (including prizes you'd like to see) let me know :)

That's a great price on the XBL and even greater idea about the points system. Do me a favour though, and see if you could nab one of those $30 XBL packs I keep seeing recently on amazon. I can't seem to get them in time.

Haha that's awesome :) I'm really flattered Azumangaman (and others). I guess I do over use the ^_^ smiley...but only because it genuinely portrays my state of happiness and my endless smiling. Thanks guys! Means a lot to me!

I'll pass on both, but they're quite tempting.
Also, you may want to think about changing the price on TWEWY. Every place I've seen it has it for $40.

Thanks :) You're right. It's regularly available now...I haven't updated the actual site in a while (working on all the behind the scenes and custom orders and trying to sell off my used game stock...down to about 300 more to go). I'll go fix that. Thanks :)

Hey goomba! Any update on my Fallout 3/Gears 2 orders?

If Fallout 3 doesn't work out I'd still like my Gears of War 2 order 100%

Thanks!
Hey Goomba,

Can you get me prices on two sets of Playstation 3 Hardwear Controller Armor delivered. All I really want in the triggers, but I can not seem to find them without the Armor. In fact, just send me the invoice.

Thanks,
Chris
Goomba, I would also be interested in getting one of those :D

The Playstation 3 Hardwear Controller Armor is as follows:

$10.00 = Controller Armor Itself from Amazon
$13.00 = Shipping to Canada (Item itself weighs ~2+ Pounds)
$02.00 = Service Charge from GamesForCanada
----------
$25.00 = Grand Total (In USD).

I realize it costs more to ship the item then the item is actually worth, but if you still want one Zyzomys and Rex let me know. Thanks!

Haha that's pretty nuts. How much would it cost to ship if you took it out of the package? I'd assume it'd way cheaper that way, because the package looks like a total aesthetic thing.

Adding to what Rex said, what if you opened the packages and just shipped the triggers to me? I have no interest in the armour. I would think the the 4 triggers together, being plastic, could be quite light.

I could definitely do that for you Zyzomys if you wanted ... No reason I can't ship less to you :) It'd save you on shipping even though the item price would be the same. Are they seperate pieces? I'm not all that familiar with the product. How about this Rex, I can order one for Zyzomys and get an idea of the actual weight. It's possible that Amazon.com is over-exaggerating the weight.

Are they seperate pieces?
My understanding is that each plastic trigger just slides on to the R2 and R3 flipper. How big can they be? Go ahead and invoice me for two units. I will pay that. Then break them open and package the four trigger pieces in a bubble wrap envelope (with the instructions) and send me another invoice for the shipping. You can do what you want with the armour. Let me know what you think.

Chris

Okay Chris, no problem. I'll send the invoices for you later tonight :) I have to get some stuff ready for my eBay auctions in the meantime.
