GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

hey there, i've been doing the frequent shopper thing on msn. I'm wondering if I could just claim an xbox controller and have them ship it to you and then you ship it back up to me (For wich I would pay for of course). It would be super nice of you :)
Winnopeg, I'm curious which one did you get? Let me know when you get a chance ^_^ I want to see roughly how long the new package system is taking to get to different parts of Canada. Thanks!
I got Animal Crossing & Saints Row. :)

As an aside, did you get the order I submitted through your website? Just curious, I really need those headphones by the end of the week.

CptIronnutz, I would be willing to do that for you of course. I believe another member was going to do that, but I never did receive their items yet so it's possible they are no longer interested. PM Me for my address and I'd be happy to help you.

Winnopeg, I wrote you back (maybe you didn't get it). It's almost impossible to get you those by the end of the week without you paying for Rush delivery which I imagine is quite pricey. How much is it worth to you? Priority Shipping MIGHT get there in time but Express definitely would. If you want an estimate I can send you one....

Nope, didn't get anything (and I just checked the spam folder to be sure, nothing there).

I paid $80 for my first set (they broke earlier this year) and London Drugs no longer carries them, so unless it's three times the cost of the headphones or something I'll probably just go for rush delivery. But yeah, lets start with that estimate I guess, it's probably good to know how much I need to set aside. :p

Okay you got it Winnopeg. It's about $45 to ship UXG (fastest shipping possible to Canada) ... Guarantee 1-3 day delivery! If I order overnight delivery now on Amazon I'll have by Tuesday and will overnight to you you should get them by Friday 99% sure...

I ordered 1 day delivery for you on Amazon. It's $3.99 per item, but you seem really motivated to make this happen so it's my only choice. I'll have to get the order in by 12:00 midnight EST so I went ahead and ordered them for you. They will be delivered Tuesday which means by all accounts they should get to you by Friday. Crazy fast shipping that is :) maybe you can find something else to buy/ship with the items to make it more worthwhile to you. UXG shipping includes $100 USD free insurance as well by the way. So your headphones are barely scratching that limit. Maybe throwing in a game will make it better ^_^

Okay, yeah, guess I'll go for that. Though never again will I leave gifts to the last minute. :p

As for adding something else to the order, I've bought way too much lately and I've got a backlog (something new for me) of about ~7 games so I think I'm good. :p

Alright, thanks ! I'll have enough points to get it in about 2-3 weeks. Ill pm you then ;)

Hey Goomba, I just finished my Xmas shopping and I have a few hundred left for whatever. What do you have on sale that'd pique my interest?
Hey Goomba, I just finished my Xmas shopping and I have a few hundred left for whatever. What do you have on sale that'd pique my interest?
Wow, if that reserve is excluding boxing day spendings, you must be hella rich... *cries looking at bank updates*

kathos, I have a TON of stuff from Black Friday still as well as my normal games in stock. I just spent almost 20 hours this week (yes .... 20 hours) re-organizing my office/stock/house and I'm nearly done now. By the end of the week I will be posting photos of nearly all my stock and then you can see if any of it interests you. I'm scared to calculate how much I spent on all this stuff. It's just so much...

The good news is that once I finish all this cleaning, packing, shipping and all I can get back to bringing GamesForCanada.com out of beta. God knows that's been a long time coming. There's just so much to do :)

-------------

danthemightyone, good news! Your other Rosenqueen Box came in! I have to run through the list to make sure everything is in there, but you're about to receive a TON of great stuff...so don't feel too bad :) Out of all the orders this Black Friday I think I envy your items the most to be honest. They look so cool (especially the Prinny items!)

Thanks for the update. I can't complain with all those stuff I ordered, which did major damages. ;-) When you finish packaging and shippings, let me know on the outstanding balance on Persona 4 stuff.

It seems like the holiday savings deal on rosenqueen is not posted in CAG, NeoGAF and elsewhere much so they still have those very limited bundles. Or is it just another sign of bad economy?

If you are a fan of Disgaea and prinnies, you should be keeping your eye on this. I am hoping rosenqueen brings a decent preorder stuff/bundle for this. There was only a soundtrack CD in Japan though.

The bundles seem to be left-overs from all their various give-aways in the past, so who knows how much of it they still have. The good news is that the items look AWESOME and there's really no way to have gotten all that stuff normally without shelling out some big bucks, so I think all-in-all it's a great deal. You're going to be bubbly with Rosenqueen happiness when you open your boxes :) that's for sure!

Haha yeah I saw this on Kotaku (and the Prinny Mobile was AWESOME). Looks really good. I'm sure they'll have some kind of extra thing for it in the US (hopefully). Cya soon my friend ^_^

maigoyume, I'm still waiting on your vitamins (haven't come yet). I will let you know ... or rather my Endicia system will let you know when the item ships. Thanks!

gamer602, it's a no-go. The coupon is only for Canadians :) So enjoy that coupon guys!

Woo hoo. Glad to see shipping to Canada is getting back on track again. I was getting worried for a minute back there with some of the delays. Looks like things are steadily getting normal ^_^ You're very welcome guys. I'll be happy once the rush subsides as well and things get to be completely regular. Appreciate it!

Don't know if you guys care or not, but the Best Buy exclusive Ace Combat 6 Flight Set with Flight Controller and extra DVD just dropped to $99.00. I realize it was the shipping that killed the deal when it was $150, but now that it's only $100 it may be worth it to some of you. Not sure if that's the new price or if it's a sale, but if you want it let me know. Remember, I'm offering a No Service Charge service for Best Buy items this month only. Thanks! Pay just item, tax and shipping ^_^

I realize it's a bit late guys, but I can get 15% off most items on Newegg.com today ... so if there's something you want there, might be a good time now. Computer RAM, Games, etc. are all eligible! Some items (mostly games) offer free shipping there too. Let me know :)

Another potential deal for you guys. Not sure if you're interested or not, but $48 SHIPPED (includes all fees) for Prince of Persia (PS3). Today only :)

HMM...how much would it be? After you've added it up..

Hey Goomba, since you seem to be the master of International shipping (when it comes to Canada at least) would you have any idea how much more shipping rates are for these items were you to ship them to Japan?
Just curious for the future when I actually have some cash!

I want to know shipped price of this....

heimdal it would be about $78 USD shipped to Canada after fees and shipping and all.

gamer602, it'd be about $137 USD shipped to Canada including tax and shipping. The item weighs about 10 pounds so it has to be shipped Priority Mail (which is faster anyway).

dv8mad, great to see you as a guest visitor here all the way from Japan! I can definitely calculate any items you want to Japan ^_^ Just let me know the items and I'd be more than happy to help! I only charge flat fees for my services by the way. Any items in particular?

Update for Ace Combat 6 Flight Bundle Set:

$106.00 - Actual price of item plus tax
$003.00 - Actual charge of shipping to my house from BestBuy.com
$032.00 - Actual cost of shipping item to Canada
----------------
$141.00 USD total to Canada. Please note I am not charging any service charge. This is actual cost straight through. I'm trying to reach Rewards Silver status to Best Buy so this entire month (two weeks left) I am not charging Service charges for any items from Best Buy. Thanks guys!

Insurance is available for an extra $2.00 USD btw.

Honestly nothing in particular at the moment as I have no extra cash. It's just that I have had a few of my friendly neighborhood CAGS run around and grab things for me in the past, and I know it's a hassle for them. I try try not to ask too often, but since you already seem to do alot of running around... ;)

dv8mad, here is standard shipping charges to Japan. Not bad actually considering the distance ^_^:

6 ounces - $6.00 (Standard Game weight so most single games I ship are 6-7 ounces)
1 pound - $11.00 (2-3 games standard weight, with bubble mailer/padding)
2 pounds - $18.00
3 pounds - $25.00
4 pounds - $30.10

There you go. You can fit a LOT of games for the 4 pounds by the way ^_^ Hope to do business with you in the future! I'd love to have an actual friend in Japan..that'd be super useful haha :)

Hmmm I might have to get you to pick me up some computer parts from there soon. Parts prices are rising in Canada again :(

dv8mad,

Well I'd be more than happy to do it for you. Actually, I'm working towards someday doing this as a full time job (a Goomba can dream can't he?). Making $2-$3 dollars per order doesn't sound like much but there's no risk as opposed to my eBay sales which have a TON of fees and often make me lose money. So I'd rather think Win/Win and help you guys and make a few dollars on the side. A few orders here and there adds up fast :) I have a TON of debt as well, so the sooner I pay that off the better ^_^

Definitely let me know though if there's anything you see that you'd like. I have a lot of leftover items from the Amazon black friday sales too by the way. Keep an eye here and on my CAG Blog on Thursday. I'm going to be listing nearly my entire game collection in photos for you guys to oggle :) Doumo Arigatou!

killmak, if you're thinking about doing it...do it soon. The sale ends at 12PM Pacific Time (which is only about 2 hours and a half from now) or until their "sale funds" end out. Meaning if you wait too long the sale may be over, or in-eligeable for the discount. Don't wait too long :)

I will take a look at some stuff, cash is low right now with christmas :(. In the past though I have wished I could buy stuff from there due to their great prices but since they dont ship to Canada (I think) I have to pay more somewhere else. Now that you brought up that they were having a sale I remembered all those times.

Did you know there was a NewEgg.ca now? I'm not sure if they carry as much as their American counterparts, but I'm in talks with them now. They're going to partially sponsor my new site so I'm going to add them as an affiliate for parts that they do carry. Kind of cool actually :) They have a lot of sales this time of the year so I'll try to bring it up if they have another one soon if you don't order anything today. Thanks!

Great news guys! (Sorry to dump all these last minute deals on you, but I just keep finding them while trying to ship....I just spent 30 hours cleaning my house (no lie lol..I reorganized EVERYTHING in the house and cleaned it spotlessly) so I'm just happy to be online again lol

buygethalf426x70_.jpg

eStarland is extending their buy 1 get 2nd one 70% off sale until 12/18/2008! WOO HOO! This is an unbelievable deal. Don't miss out on it this time around :) Remember they charge about $5-$6 per shipment. Still great!

That would be great for you to get them to sponsor you. Yes I looked at newegg.ca when it first came out and wasnt very impressed with it. I didnt see anything that jumped out at me to buy today. When it comes time to build my new computer I will make sure to remember to check newegg.com.

Yeah their affiliate program isn't bad. I do worry that it may be more limited than the US site, but who knows it might get better. I will be mostly just featuring games of theirs but we'll see how that goes. If I don't get enough clicks to their site they'll likely drop sponsorship anyway lol so it may not be lasting very long ^_^ Time will tell. Just gotta get all my orders out for the holidays. I think I may have to wait till January to actually get the new site live unfortunately. I had no idea December was going to be so crazy busy haha.

Just so you know, you kick newegg.ca's ass. They just kinda mirror stuff from .com, and when you order something they ship it from their US warehouses. Oh and they only ship UPS up to us. So there's a expensive boarder crossing and expensive shipping with them. Given a choice of a middleman you win hands down ;)

Oh, and my Persona 3 arrived safe & sound today. Thank you!

ughh goomba you are killing me...that eStarland deal seems too good to pass up. Could I get Star Wars: Republic Commando and FFIX? Both are Used, for XBox and PSx, respecticely. It would be $13.50 for the first item, and $4.05 for the second item, correct? If you could shoot me the total final cost, I'll give you the 100% by the end of the day. Thanks!

Ragnar14, that's good to know and also disappointing to hear about NewEgg.ca because I was hoping they'd be better than the rest. They used to offer free shipping on almost everything to the US, but that changed over time. Still they pack really fast and generally anything I order from them I get in 2-3 days tops. Love NewEgg...

game_fanatic, Not trying to kill you :) The eStarland games are almost always 100% Complete, in great condition and often re-sealed to keep them great until you're ready to open them. Gotta love that. I will shoot you an invoice today.

120GB Xbox 360 Harddrive (Brand New!) - $116 USD Shipped

killmak, I can get you an even better deal on a 120GB HD if you want. Here is the item on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-GENUINE-Mic...4|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1308|301:1|293:1|294:50

They are selling only $106 shipped to me from eBay and then another $10 or so to ship to Canada. So altogether roughly $116 USD for a brand new 120GB Harddrive. The only difference is it will be OEM style packaging (generic) rather than the fancy one you'd see in stores. Let me know! ^_^

FIRST COME FIRST SERVE: 30% OFF ONE ITEM ON BORDERS.COM
-------------
Good selection of DVDs, Blu Rays, and of course Books. Let me know if there's something on there that you want. 30% isn't bad at all :) The coupon is good in their stores as well, so if it's a heavier item that requires shipping I may be able to get it at my local Borders store. Thanks guys ^_^

The problem with the oem one is that it doesnt come with the transfer cable which I need and is worth about $40 by itself. Anyways I contacted that seller to see if they will mark it as gift and for cheaper on the customs form so that I dont have to pay duties. If they cant is that something you do for more expensive items?

ahh okay yeah I totally didn't realize you needed the transfer cable. That's a good point and one I hadn't thought about. Let me know how it goes ^_^

Winnipeg, I sent out your 2 pairs of headphones with 2 day delivery. I will send you the bill later. I know you wanted it on time so I shipped it right away to make the deadline. They said they could get there as soon as tomorrow which is pretty crazy fast. You'll definitely have it by Friday though (it's guaranteed). Thanks again! Gotta go now, I'll be on later :)

Saw that, I got an email confirmation that it was shipped. Thanks! :)

Not to take any business away from you Goomba, but for the Canadian CAGs, Estarland ships to Canada and it is only a few more dollars more then shipping to the US, so it is cheaper ordering it yourself. It takes about 8 days to recieve the parcel. I have ordered from them several times and I always get the stuff within 10 days and I never get charged duty.
