GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

gsrce, it seems Red2Blu has no history of your Matrix movie you sent in. Did you send it in with some type of tracking number or something that I can give to them? Please let me know.

As for Windows 7, that's awesome. I've been using it for a while and really like it a LOT more than Vista so far. I'll probably use XP for a while longer for some of my business software, but will move to Windows 7 for my personal stuff. Thanks! I will definitely let you know when it comes in. Are you mailing it to my house or to my UPS store box? Let me know. Thanks ^_^

Your house.

I have an email you forwarded to me from WB saying they received the art for it. I'll forward it along to you. Thanks again =)

ayinaim, I'm going to inquire with the insurance company as it should be long enough now to make a claim against it. I will refund you in full once they give me back the money. Very sorry it never made to you. Not sure why that is, but we'll get to the bottom of it. Thanks for your patience! I will let you know :)

gsrce, I appreciate the forward. I'm going to send a letter to their customer service now. I'll let you know what they say. Thanks!

Just a reminder, I'm now doing GYROS updates once a week so it will more than likely be Sunday. I'm on the last of my lowball items and getting all your items together as well.

This week a LOT of you have multiple-item orders, which are good but it also requires a bit more time and effort to get them together :) As always, I strive for perfection with my packages and want you to be fully satisfied with everything. Keep an eye out in your in-boxes and you'll see a lot of shipping notices ^_^

Cya soon guys!

ayinaim, I have refunded you for the full cost of your item plus my service charge from GFC for your Zen music player. Just so you know, shipping insurance doesn't cost the original cost of shipping or the actual insurance premium but it does cover the item in full and I've refunded the $2.00 charge as well. Very sorry about it. If it ever does show up please let me know and refund the $37 as I'll have to give it back. I'm just sending you the money up front out of my account as I've never had to file an insurance claim before and do not know how long it takes. Thanks again and very sorry. You are only the second person to ever have a package lost in my 12 years of online shipping. Cya soon!

** BANK QUESTION **

Hey guys, I asked this about 6 months ago but I haven't had a lot of success. When I was in Toronto I went to a local HSBC bank and tried to open an account, but they told me it was Canadian citizens and foreign students only (with letters proving why they were there, etc.). Since I didn't have that they wouldn't let me open an account.

I really need to get a Canadian bank account because I want to sell on Amazon.ca (and actually have in the past and have a couple hundred CAD dollars in my account). The problem is that they only disburse to Canadian bank accounts (unlike in the US where you can get other payment methods). Do any of you know how I can get a Canadian bank account online? I just tried signing up with RBC and it had sections for US citizens, but it also mentioned that I may need to apply in person (which means another trip to Canada) and if they turn me down ... well that'd be a huge waste of time and money.

Anyone know? If any of you are up for it, I wouldn't mind partnering up with one of you to have my funds deposited to your account and just have you send me the money via Paypal. I'd of course compensate you. Obviously I'd only do that with someone I've had a lot of past transactions with, so you old-time GFC buyers please let me know if you'd consider that. Thanks!

Goomba, I'd consider it for you if you trusted me which you may... or may not... but I order enough stuff from you that you could hold ransom :p

If you want, I can see if I have extra time to drive by RBC and ask them if an American can open a bank account with them if it's done in person.

There are probably regulations that don't allow people who aren't living in Canada from opening bank accounts. I know Canada is stricter with banks than the US.

Thanks Rogan, if you could stop by a RBC that'd be awesome. I appreciate the offer as well of partnering with me :) I'll definitely consider it! Ideally I'd like my own account but if it can't work, I'd love to work out something with one of you. Thanks for the offer!

Firestorm, yeah Canadian banks are really strict. I know Americans can do it but it takes a lot of ingenuity and creativity. Maybe I can enroll in a class sometime of some sort and work it out in the future. Having a CAD bank account would be really handy. Thanks guys!

Hey Goomba,

Got your e-mail, sorry to hear about the whole gas thing. I really appreciate it. Your service is fantastic! Ship the gift card please, I was on the TRU site and it said it would automatically transfer into Canadian dollars at Canadian TRUs. Worst case scenario I just order from .com and get it shipped to me from you :)

Once again, sorry about the figure...

I'm half asleep, but couldn't someone open a bank account for you and just give you the online banking information and never touch it again? With that, you could make your own paypal and everything...

No idea how illegal that would be though :p

RoganSarine, I don't think it's illegal per se, but not many people would want to open an account in their name and just give it off to a stranger. Not that I'm strange :) you know what I mean. But yeah in theory it could be done. I'm waiting to hear back from RBC so we'll see ^_^ *Crosses fingers*

dancrane212, I will have your item out tomorrow morning hopefully :) Glad to know it will work for you with the gift card. Thanks again!

I can add a little sister figure in with your package for no additional shipping (they're really light) but no I didn't get the games from Killdozer yet. I'll let you know :)

Yes that's right :) Now if you'll excuse me I have packing to do, dinner to eat and a movie to watch (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). If you want the Little Sister figure, just let me know and I'll add it to your invoice (don't buy through the site). Thanks guys!

gsrce, Red2Blu says they don't know what happened either. They did receive the original case/artwork for the Matrix movie but didn't ship out the Blu-Ray to us. They said they will send us another copy but that we have to pay for shipping again. Is that worth it to you? Please let me know. Thanks!

telepathy, okay my friend I put in your eBay bid. I'll worry about the invoicing later. I have a lot of packages still to pack :)

kech, that's great :) Glad you got everything! You're very welcome ^_^

telepathy, thanks for your signature but you can delete it for now. It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get the house now unfortunately. I'm going to remove my link my signature for now as well. For those of you who donated just let me know if you want your money back. I'm still going to keep my funds on the side for a down payment but it probably will be a year or two before I can actually get the loan for a house. Thanks for all your help regardless!

Too bad your project won't work this year goomba. I hope your business will help you reach your goal sooner. Better wait till you can afford it without getting into problems later.

If I find a good deal in USA, I won't have any hesitation to do business with you, you seem to provide wonderful service to Canucks.

Hey Goomba,

I was going to put this in a DR form but since there is a coupon attached, I figure I'd do it here.

For Snow White on Blu Ray, its normally $24.99. However, if you use the coupon "snowhite" (just 1 w) it takes $10 off the price making it $14.99.
Usually when I buy a Blu Ray from somebody in the US, shipping is $3 or so. Regardless, if you could get one for me with the $10 coupon (I'm not interested @ $24.99) I'd love you forever.

Hey Goomba!

I was just wondering, do you still have that contact of yours in Japan? There's an item I want off of a Japanese site (ecapcom), but have no idea how I would get it, since I can't read Japanese, know the conversation rate or even know if they ship internationally. Then I thought of you lol. Would it be possible for the contact to buy it, ship it to you, then you would ship it to me? If it is I'll send a DR or something, and hopefully we could work something out.
How much is it going to cost for a 16GB sony memorystick pro duo on Amazon?
You should look into two microSD cards and a Pro Duo adapter. I went with two 8GB cards but I know some people who have gone with two 16 GB cards.
You should look into two microSD cards and a Pro Duo adapter. I went with two 8GB cards but I know some people who have gone with two 16 GB cards.
I will look into that. Where did you get yours?

killmak, I will contact you :) I should be able to get you one no problem.

Azumangaman that's a RIDICULOUSLY good price for Snow White on Blu-Ray. I'm picking up a copy from Best-Buy that I pre-ordered and I think I paid like almost $40. Geez. Makes me want to cancel my pre-order now (wonder if it's too late). I will send an invoice to you tonight.

TronB, yes I actually have a couple of contacts in Japan right now. It's cheapest if you just tell me the site/items you want and then I tell them. They can figure out the price of shipping to Japan and have them mail it from Japan to Canada (shipping to USA and then to Canada makes i way too expensive). Let me know what specific items you want and we can work out something :) Thanks!

magiic, let me know if you find something. If not, I can try to find some good deals for you on them. They seem to go on sale a lot lately. Thanks!

Okay ^_^ I'll get right on that (by the way this week is crazy busy so I'll be packing a bunch of items but won't do the weekly GYROS update till Tuesday probably. Thanks!)

Oh no buddy, you're wrong. I'm FAR crazier than ever and getting crazier by the day lol.

This week I had survived a heating installation in my home, shipped almost 50 packages out, worked 7 days straight between my two jobs, invoiced another 40+ orders, saw a movie, drove across the state, re-organized my office (yet again), worked on website updates, worked on my ongoing animation contest (only 30 days left or so...yikes, time flies!), played Muramasa for the Wii (Gosh, that game is GORGEOUS) and still lived to tell about it =P I'm so nuts it's not even funny.

I got the invoice already!!! Thank you my good man :D And I broke a sweat just looking at all the stuff you've done in the past week. Anyways I sent you the money, so now I await! Thanks again.

Excellent :) Yeah I'd document and video my week if I could, but I know I'd never have the time to properly edit it lol. Maybe one day when I'm a millionaire and don't have to work my two/three jobs. But then it'd be a lot less interesting to watch. Craziness ensues!

*Continues to ship* ^_^;;;

That is truly amazing goomba, you are a machine i swear.

Did u get my DR? I saw the item was won for less than $20. & how much shipping do I owe you?

Spike32, all your items were successfully ordered :) I should have those in my office in around a week and a half or so and will ship them out when I have all three. Thanks again! Your support is greatly appreciated! One step closer to paying off my debt and starting my own animation studio mwahahaha.

King, I got your payment as well (my wife sent the invoice but with the power of the Internet I got a copy and your payment). We got your shirt ordered...very last one ^_^ How weird is that it's being sold by Newbury comics? Great comic store but had no idea they sold clothing. Who knew!

telepathy, yup we did win that for less which is great! I really envy the artbook (even if it slightly damaged it looks awesome...especially at that price!). I have to go through all your items again and figure in the past credits you have for the other eBay items and all that stuff. I have a few more packages going out tomorrow and I hope to be all caught up with your orders by Tuesday night if you can just hang in there another day or two. Since I have so many of your items I want to play around with shipping options to give you the best rate. Thanks again!

Killer Trekky,

Haha that's one of the best 3D animated movies ever (and the first full-length featured one to boot). Did you know they are re-releasing them in theatres next week in 3D (as in with the glasses and all) for the first time? They're only going to be in theatres for 2 weeks though (Toy Story 1 & 2!) so be sure to see them. I can't wait! I'm such a Pixar-junkie =P

spike32, yeah I do occasionally sleep (not by choice, but such is life). I live very closely to the old saying "I'll sleep when I'm dead". Since I'm a poker dealer by trade, my hours change day-to-day. So for instance tomorrow I work at 11:30 which means I have to leave my house by 10:45 AM, which means I have to get up at 9:00. So I figure I like to sleep 7 hours, so I go to sleep at 2AM. It sounds nuts, but it makes sense :) It's a lot better than when I only got 4 hours at my old job ^_^;;

I figure if I work my butt off to keep busy, then when I do eventually pay off my bills (still roughly 6 years off) life will seem so ridiculously easy =P I'll get there!

toy%20story%20double%20feature%20poster.jpg

Need I say more? Okay I will: SEE THIS! It's a double feature :) great way to spend a morning/day/afternoon. Heck, see it twice and make a full day out of it. Gotta build up steam for Toy Story 3 some how!

I am a 2D animation fanatic first and foremost, but there's no arguing the beauty of Wall-E, the humor of Up or the ground-breaking history that the Toy Story movies made. I'm currently trying to collect all Disney DVDs and Blu-Rays and doing a pretty good job so far. I just wish they'd hurry up and release Blu-Rays of movies like "The Lion King". I know Disney loves to milk their franchises, but I have a feeling it'll take me like 30 years to get them all in HD lol.

I have yet to see UP still surprisingly. I didn't say as much as i hate to admit it because it's animation, but because it's american animation for such a bastard company. I do prefer the Japanese Anime although as of late, they haven't come out with much that's any good. I'm also a voice acting fanatic, like I can tell all the anime dub voice actors because it's a small community so it does piss me off when Disney grabs things like Spirited Away or Ponyo or anything made by Hayao Miyazaki. Although it does bring exposure to the anime world I guess.

You really have to see "UP". I saw it opening day (again because I am a Pixar nut) but it was 10x better than I expected. The theatre was literally laughing from start to finish (it has so many great parts) and the animation is of course top notch as well. It's by far the most heart-touching and "real" of the Pixar movies if you were to ask me. I do prefer Anime series to American ones typically as well, though there are a lot of great traditional 2D movies here in the US (and not many 3D Japanese ones yet). I don't think it's a bad thing Disney brings Miyazaki movies to the US, because it really brings them to a bigger audience (though I always watch them in their native Japanese first before seeing them in English). The English versions for those were done pretty well, though I will always prefer the original language dubs of course.

Ponyo was really simple (story-wise) but the hand-drawn animation in that is mind-blowing. The waves alone in the ocean are enough to give an animator nightmares lol. I have no idea how they created that movie. It's absolutely astonishingly gorgeous. This has been a fantastic year for animation!
