GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Oh by the way, could you email me the final numbers for the invoice? It doesn't need to be in some fancy PDF (although, if you have that done... It'd make it easier), I just want the add the numbers to my cheque book.

So yeah, it works out that I owe you the shipping still which is roughly where I should be ($35) since I didn't really ever pay that, ha.

Rogan, you did pay it. I just deducted it from the money you sent me since you had sent the two $109.00 payments. I will try to send you an invoice within the next day or two if you want it. We're all caught up now though :) Cya soon. I have to go back to coding. Lots to do ^_^

It's all good Rogan. They didn't let me refund to the credit card because I would have refunded in full, but it's all set as far as I'm concerned. By the way my new and improved DR page is almost done. I'm going to show you guys tonight the Beta version. The new versions are still at least 1-2 weeks away (the ones that let you pre-pay and multiple items) but you will hopefully agree this new improved version is MUCH slicker!

Well Goomba, if you can't refund in full, is it okay if I continue being a pain in the ass and just refund what you sent me (I'm kind of the same way where I have one account solely for credit card use and another for debit/balance) and just wait for the eCheck I sent you to clear yadda yadda (i calculated the $31.51 difference) and then just refund the entire thing :p

I didn't realize you had to refund the entire thing... since... I'm always given the option of partial refunds.

If not, can I refund it and then you send it to my RogueSardine account?

Edit: Actually... Want to just keep it until Black Friday incase there is something I want?

Rogan...yeah let's do that :) it'll make everyone's life easier ^_^ I guarantee there'll be something you want relatively soon. I'm off to bed now, but first...let me introduce you all..to....

** THE BETA Direct Request Version 2.0 Page!!! **

http://gamesforcanada.com/dr-beta2.php

** While this does not yet support multiple items or direct pay options (you can see I made icons for them now as placeholders, but they won't be live for another two weeks or so), you can now LOGIN at the top of the page and it will enter all your personal information: Name, Email and Shipping Address for you automatically!

If you are not logged in, log in at the top and then go back to the page:

http://gamesforcanada.com/dr-beta2.php

Or if you are not yet registered on the site, now would be a good time to do that =)

========================

I'm dying to know what you guys think! Feel free to enter a test submission just to let me know you tried it. I worked really, really hard on getting this to work and from all my test runs it's working great. Love to know your opinions! Thanks guys ^_^

Goomba, when I login the logout button isn't centered in the blue bar... If you didn't notice (you did say to comment on all funny looking stuff :p)

And... the new DR works amazingly (albeit, little hard to find since I didn't realize it wasn't linked to)... Definitely nice not having to re-enter the basic info -- hopefully, it does something nice on the back end invoicing-wise.

Rogan, yup I'm aware of the non-centeredness of the login icon. That'll be fixed soon enough :) I just am going through some CSS changes and things so I have to tweak it. Not a big deal though and should be easy enough.

As for the new DR, I want to make sure everything works 100% for people before I replace the old one. I never really link Beta versions of pages until I'm sure that they won't wig out on people =) that's why I use you guys as my test subjects hehe.

The back end for this step isn't any different for me, but once I upgrade to the new pages (multiple items, pay in full, etc.) then it'll make things a lot easier for me. Like I said, big changes are coming to GFC and they're all for the better for everyone. Just had to take a year and a half to really test things out to see what works. I appreciate you taking a look! I'm just going to go ahead and update the DR form with the new version for now minus the new pages on top. Thanks again!

Rogan, I have fixed the centering of the logout icon :) Though it's only fixed on the DR page for now lol but hey...it's a start! I'll update the other pages once I go through and make sure the newest versions are on this computer.

If you see anything else quirky or weird, let me know. I am, after all, only human. 'Night guys! Cya tomorrow. My last day before the big poker tournament starts.

Hmm, I don't think I signed up an account before  I just did, obviously my Canuck Bucks that you calculated the other day aren't associated to the brand new account. I donno if you wanna add them? Seeing as there's a spot for them, are they being tracked/generated automatically yet?

Anyways... The signup page still mentions PrizePiggy

** GFC Rewards (Coming in December 2009) **

Running Totals (Updated a Couple Per Day for those who request it):

Ragnar14 = $3.00 Canuck Bucks
Dancrane212 = $2.75 Canuck Bucks
Azumangaman = $12.50 Canuck Bucks
Killmak = $1.00 Canuck Buck

If you would like me to calculate your Canuck Bucks for you, just let me know here in the forum. I will be doing everyone's eventually once the reward system goes live in December, but if you want to know ahead of time where you stand now you can find out. At the moment I am calculating 25% of the Service Fees you paid towards GFC on Direct Request items only. So if you spend $10 in service fees you'd have $2.50 in rewards. I will be going all the way back to the start of my service for all my records, so I will be able to accurately access where you stand. I have just brought all my old records up to my new system (took a while, but it's completed now) and so the fun begins.

In the future, once I start the automated calculating of points on the site, you will be able to see all your points and earn points in real time =) Enjoy! Rewards are only a few weeks away now!

Maigoyume, you shouldn't get charged for direct funds unless for some reason it's tied to a credit card or possibly a bank e-transfer of some kind. Paypal seems really random lately with how their fees are going, so I can't say for certain. I am sorry if they charged you though.

Ragnar14, no worries I will go ahead and apply your Canuck Bucks to your new account (even if the system doesn't go live until December). I'll go do that. Oh and PrizePiggy is still going to be around. It's actually going to tie in with my rewards system, so it's not entirely off. I'll go and check out that signup page though as it's been a while since I updated it. Thanks for reminding me, now that people will actually have a reason to sign up :) Appreciate it!

Update: Good Lord that's an ugly sign up page! Yikes! I'm going to have to re-do that sometime this week lol. And you're right, I'll have to remove the PrizePiggy text. I am almost positive I had a newer version of that page but somehow I must have loaded up an older one and replaced it. Oh well. I'll have to make a new one to fit the new style of the website anyhow. Thanks for reminding me! That totally slipped my mind. Gotta make GFC look good for all the new members =)

game_fanatic, because I'm totally OCD about these sorts of things, I keep records for every sale I've ever made :) I will go calculate yours for you ^_^

** GFC UPDATE: Avoiding Payment Fees Options **

Remember, for those of you who are constantly getting charged fees and such. You still have two great options to order virtually fee free:

1) Order the items yourself and ship them to my UPS account. Since you are paying for the items yourself, I am not being charged a fee to receive your items and therefore there is no fee to pass onto you. So if you have a credit card or can buy from a company that will ship to the USA for you, then this is always an option!

2) If you can buy Amazon.com gift cards with your credit card/bank card/whatever for the US Amazon.com store, or if you just happen to have some extra ones you're not using, then you can give me these codes through PM/Email and I will credit you 1:1. For example, if you have a $20 Amazon Gift Card, you can send it to me and I will credit your account with $20.00 USD for future purchases. When I invoice you in the future, I will apply all your credits towards your account. Couldn't be simpler :) We buy a lot from Amazon.com as you know, so it's as good as cash as far as I'm concerned.

Oh wow, I totally win! It seems like just yesterday I was questioning if you were a scammer...now, you are pretty much the most reliable person on the internet in my mind!
Thanks for all the service!
I wonder how many people have more than I do...:D

haha, yeah I'd really like to put the "Are you a scammer" question out of people's minds. Hopefully by now my CAG feedback / eBay feedback and Goozex Feedback are enough to convince people :) I will just keep doing what I do though ^_^

As for how many have more than you...I'd say only 2 or 3 at most honestly. We'll find out soon enough though ^_~!

Cool just registered to the site goomba.

Btw, with black friday approaching, does any of the online sites (amazon.com, bestbuy.com, etc) accept Canadian credit cards? I was thinking of ordering something and have it shipped to goomba. It sucks we can't take advantage of the black friday sales unless we actually physically line up.

Hey goomba, since you work at a casino have you met or delt cards to any famous celebrities or pro poker players?

Yep about the Canadian CCs. I've purchased some movies and had it shipped here but for items which are US only, was wondering if they would accept a shipping address in the US. I'll just check out google.

Hey guys, I just survived another 10 hour day at the poker room dealing. Just so you know, the next 7 days straight I'm working in the big fall tournaments at my casino which means I'll be working a LOT of hours and won't be online much. I'll still be processing your orders, shipping your items and doing the DR's, but I may be a little slow to react/respond to them and I will be almost non-existent here on the forums, so just bear with me. This is a crazy week that comes once every season so I just have to make it through this and I'll be good. Then comes Black Friday and all that madness :) Cya guys soon. I'll go through your posts tomorrow and will do more of your rewards over the weekend. Thanks!

maigoyume, yes I did get your payment thanks. I will log it in my system as future credit for you :) Thanks!

blackric, yes I meet celebrities and have dealt to many famous WPT Poker Players (most famous being Moneymaker and a few others). They're just people but it's kind of cool nonetheless for dealer bragging rights :) Some of the big players are real jerks in real life but Moneymaker was actually really friendly and cool. I'm sure I'll see some more this week as it's our big tournament.

For Canuck Bucks, I will have all yours calculated soon. No worries ^_^ If you ordered with me in the last 18 months, your points will be counted and marked on the site (if you registered of course). Thanks!

Yup, sure did Setite. I'm on the way to the post office to drop off your things. I had to work early the last couple of days so I couldn't get there in person to buy the insurance and all that. You should get an Email in about 20 minutes. Thanks :)

Yeah Setite, sorry I had to print it on my backup printer downstairs so it didn't print in the EMail. It's Priority Mail, 8 pounds and shipped today. Thanks!

Thanks! Off I go to work now :) First day of the crazy big poker tournament. Keep in touch ^_^ Bye!

I just registered on gamesforcanada under the same name that i have on CAG. How long does it take for the Canuck Bucks to be added from my past purchases?

I just added in your points / CanuckBucks telepathy :) Let me know if they show up when you log in on the GFC pages. I'm going to post the rest of the list now ^_^

It doesn't technically have to be the most money... Just means you ordered the most items potentially at 1 item an invoice.

:p Pretty sure the guys who ordered the ps3 and stuff spent the most... but... I dunno what you ordered.

idk, i ordered a lot of games/random shit at some point. so my statement is probably incorrect since i dont know what other people have bought in terms of actual money value. However, I have spend a couple hundred from just picking up various games, dvds & such.

Goomba, just want to ask, if I think that it would take too long for you to send an invoice & then for me to send you money & then have you set up your sniping software, would it be better if i just send you money ahead of time (so you can bid as soon as possible) & then work out the difference that I still owe afterwards?

That's great Darth ^_^ I really do try to pack very well. I think it comes from my decade of selling on eBay haha. Much appreciated! I will try to go through all DR's today and tomorrow as I've been slightly bogged down by my poker tournament work. Thanks again!

telepathy, yes definitely. That's always a good idea as I have no problem figuring it out afterwards as long as I can get you the item. That's not a problem at all =)

Oh and for those wondering, Rogan is quite correct in the fact it doesn't matter how expensive the items you order. You can order 10 different games at $60 each in one order and only pay $11 service fee (earning you $2.75 in Canuck Bucks) or you could order 10 different games as separate orders at $60 each and pay $20 service fees total (earning you $5.00 in Canuck Bucks). It's more of a frequent buyer's reward than it is a max spending reward as I don't really make more for more expensive items =) Hope that makes sense.

Yo Goomba, I just sent another payment to stock up on credit for black friday. I should have (if I count correctly): $177.49 in credit or so?

Also, just a reminder to send me the invoice whenever you finish it.

Just wondering if you only do online deals by that I mean say something on sale in store in a Best Buy in the US can u go get it and mail it to me?Thnx in advance :)

You should scroll back a few pages and you will find your answer. Goomba will not go into a store and get stuff, its online only.

Well, Darth... He won't go on BLACK FRIDAY -- two completely different things.

Depending on his work schedule, he doesn't mind going to the store... But he does prefer online only.
