GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

evantrees, well hopefully it won't be a problem. It is good that they apologized nonetheless. I'll keep you posted. I'm going to my UPS box on Wednesday this week :)

wizic, Target already charged my credit card so I hope that they do honor it. Just curious why you think it won't go through. Did you hear something about this? Any other CAGs having their orders cancelled? Let me know. Thanks!

ichit4k4_set0 unfortunately that boat sailed long ago. It was claimed almost immediately (only available to first buyer as they limit it to one per customer/address/household). You can attempt to self order it to my UPS account, but otherwise I can't get any more at that rate unfortunately.

Well there is no guarantee that they won't cancel it or that it won't turn out OOS (that happened to me with Target.com and Skate 2 when they had a pricing error) but I'm still hoping they keep their end of the bargain :) Crossing my fingers for you!

shadowjeff, unfortunately I just checked with Dell and it now says estimated delivery date: 05/03/2010 ... YIKES =P I was really hoping they'd have shipped them out with the original shipping date :( bummer.

LOL expected... a couple of head-fi members mentioned the may 3rd date too. Another member mentioned that his got changed to april 9 and that he called up dell, dell said they would be expecting a shipment from Monster on 30th march. anyway if your free, would you mind calling up dell and ask whether would the shipping date change? :D

anyway thanks for the update! xD

Hey there Goomba, great idea and thanks for offering such a great service! I have a question that may have been addressed already, but was unable to find an answer in my diggings.

Do you guys handle pre-orders and do you deal with giftcards? WalMart.com is having a great deal on some games with 10-20USD gift cards on games (SP:C, SMG2 and Halo: Reach) but they don't ship to Canada!

Again, thanks for this service =)!

Lame...!
Yeah, if you have some free time you should call up Dell because they'll give you the actual shipping date. Or, you can just give me the order number (the Dell order #) and I'll call them up.

Hi Goomba!

I went through my first-time order tonight. Sorry I messed around on your website ordering that Bioshock 1+2 combo on Amazon.

I know I shouldn't be insecure - all those buyers can't be wrong - but could you confirm that you were able to process the order and get the 2-games deal?

Thanks!

*Head Spins*

I don't know what it is with me getting the most orders when I'm at my busiest with work, but there's definitely something to it :) I worked another full day at the casino, got home and see almost 60+ orders waiting for me. It's a good thing this Poker Tournament ends on 04/13/2010 otherwise I would be going out of my mind lol. The good news is I'm off tomorrow (sort of) ... working at the University job, though I'll be processing a ton of orders. I promise to do my best guys. I will update GYROS as best as possible, pack as many items out as possible, and do as many orders. Please bear with me. I'm not ignoring you or your orders. Thanks guys.

I am staying up until 2:00 AM or so tonight and will do as much as I can. Thanks guys.

Nah, it's actually a great thing! I just feel really bad because it seems that whenever I have intentions of actually catching up to all orders, I get a landslide of new ones. I'm training my wife to help me with orders/invoicing again as I've completely changed my system since she last attempted to try to help, but she'll be leaving for China in two weeks and will be gone a month (lonely Goomba!) so I'll wait till she gets back to train her again. Once the poker tournament ends on 04/13/2010 then things will be "normal" again but I am not sure how my schedule will be.

As you know, I was originally planning on being out of work come 4/15 but now that my contract has been renewed it means I'll have to figure out my new GFC schedule ^_^ I'm doing it though little by little. So just hang in with me and if something is really urgent, Email me or write in here. I try to get back to all messages within 24 hours (and usually do). THANKS!

Just processed around 20 orders or so :) Packed up a few as well. Going to be one crazy busy week ^_^ Thanks guys. I'm off to bed soon. Going to be doing a bunch of things tomorrow.

Also, just for reference. March 2010 was record breaking with almost 200 orders in total (DR/PF & Website Orders). Absolutely incredible guys. I really appreciate everything you've done for us. Eventually I really do hope to make a semi-career out of this silly little GFC service =) It sure has grown on us fast!

Just made my first GFC purchase =). Bayonetta, XBOX360! Couldn't pass up a nearly 25 dollar difference between my local store and the online price at gamestop.com!

Definitely excited that this service exists =)! Can't wait to get my package!

hi goomba, some members on head-fi mentioned that their order was delayed to a may shipping date yesterday but somehow got an order shipped email today. another member called up dell and was told they got a shipment in from monster and his order was shipped and was given a tracking number, despite getting the may shipping date on his order status.

Could you check whether did you receive that email and/or call them up? Or you could give me the order number and i can call to check because i understand that you are very busy. Thank you! :D
hello just have a quick question how much would it come out to if i use your service. Its from amazon.com cost 29.99 with free shipping to usa. Live in Canada

http://www.amazon.com/Tales-Vesperi..._1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1269983711&sr=1-1

will i be able to play this game with a xbox 360 that i bought in Canada?

how much do games usually weigh?
I think the price would be $29.99 (no tax or shipping from Amazon to Goomba) + $3 shipping for regular games + $2 service ($4 if you use credit card). So, about $35USD. You can fill out a DR to get an estimated cost. I think a typical game (normal packaging) for the PS2/PS3/XBox/360 are about 6 pounds, although I believe some people count it as 7-8pounds shipped to be on the safe side. But, from what I've seen, Goomba tends to charge $3 for one normal game.

And yes, the game would work in Canada. Region locks for games are generally divided into North America (NTSC/UC), Europe/Oceania (PAL) and Japan/many other parts of east Asia (NTSC/J). In other words, if the game/console works for the US, it works for Canada, and vice-versa.

I think JoJoBlue meant 6 OUNCES and 7-8 OUNCES

Hi Goomba and people =p

Hopefully everything has been going well with how busy you've been lately Goomba.

Just wanted to pop in and mention a good deal. Amazon.com has Elite Beat Agents (brand new) for the Nintendo DS for $5.99. It's not available to ship to Canada, so if you have yet to pick this up, I'd suggest this may be the time to do it. It's a must have title for the DS.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000HE9LL8/

On that note, glad April will be a quiet month, as I spent way too much in March, lol

I only need Wario Ware DIY which I'm hoping to pick up with trade credit, and the $18.99 price error LOTR blu set. Now May on the other hand is going to be expensive...seeing Conan in Toronto = 35 dollar t shirts and lots of booze, lol

I am home safely finally. Today was the first time I ever got literally stuck in another state. Apparently the torrential downpouring of rain we had the last few days flooded the nearby state of Rhode Island a lot worse than it did my home state of Connecticut (which also got hit with a ton of rain). I ran into no less than 15 road blocks driving home today and had to take the wackiest backroads to even manage to get out of the state. There were malls 9 feet under water, cars stuck in the roads, cops blocking all major highways and roads and actual rivers running in the streets. It was absolute chaos.

I am just happy to be home (at 12:56 AM no less!) after that insane trip home. I'm going to spend about 30 minutes processing some orders but I won't be able to get to nearly as many as I would like. Tomorrow I will be home around 7:30 PM and will process for a good 4-6 hours though. Man, what a nightmare today was =P

I've never used this service, can someone confirm that I understand how it works? Say I wanted to order 2 items on Amazon.com. I would use the Direct Request service and have Goomba order with his Prime account for free shipping. Pay him the cost of the items and around $2 per item service charge plus the shipping cost from him to me. And that's it as far as GFC charges? Thanks!

Solid-Snake-Eyes welcome to GFC! Okay so here's how it goes: Yes if you want an item you have two options: 1) Use the Direct Request form on the site, let us know what you want to order and pre-pay according to the payment instructions. We will order the item for you and ship it up to Canada when we receive it.

OR

2) You can order the item yourself with our "Package Forwarding" service, have it shipped to us and then we re-ship it back to you. Doing this makes one extra step as we will have to manually invoice you (and right now as the site mentions we are about 48 hours behind on invoicing. So if you put an order in now it may be up to 2 days before we can send you an invoice). The good thing is though if you use the Package Forwarding option at least it will be on its way to us immediately :)

If you have any other questions let me know. The fees are best explained on the Package Forwarding site but yes in a nutshell it's $2.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional. Extra fees are added for items over $150+ USD or over 5 pounds. Thanks and welcome!

Thanks, that answers my questions I think. The reason I was mentioning the Direct Request was you say you can get free shipping from Amazon and the items I want don't come in under the $25 minimum. Is there much of a time delay between the time I direct request and the time you make the order from Amazon?

Not a problem :) Yes we do have Amazon Prime so all items shipped by Amazon.com ship free to us. Thanks! I order items within 10 hours typically (based around my day job hours). So if you prepay through the site, consider them ordered. If it's a very time limited item/sale then I suggest the Package Forwarding :) Thanks. I'm off to bed now guys. Cya tomorrow night!

Goomba, do you have any new status on order #995 / 1592415533? I see that the item arrived at your place last week. Gyros says "Paid. Item Received. Need Additional Shipping $." but I did not receive any invoice. If you already sent it, please send it again.

Thanks

Okay, to everyone who ordered the Monster Copper earphones:
I called in, and they are indeed delayed until May 3rd 2010. That sucks big time, because when we ordered it said that we should receive within 1-2 weeks. I asked them why some people who ordered after us are getting their earphones before us and they said they don't know. The CSR said that it might be earlier than that, so I'll just give it another week, and if that doesn't work then I'll have to ask for a refund Goomba :)

Hey Goomba, I was wondering how a $19.99 game from amazon totaled to $35 in the end.
Order number is 97796682 and invoice 1051.
Thanks!

oh my such a waste from the ea code thread
Well, I got all 3 of my orders today. I know someone mentioned it a few pages back, but whoever packed these is really fucking retarded. All 3 of my games came in an oversized box with one or two air balloons for "protection". Look at this shit:

dscn0066f.jpg

Luckily it doesn't sound any of the discs are floaters, and they were only in the mail for two days, so I don't think much could've happened to them in that time.
It must be something, that storm is making the news prime time here on TV (Montreal). Good luck with all of this.

** NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE **

Those of you who ordered the Turbine Pro Copper Professional In-Ear Speakers ... they have shipped from Dell! They were listed as shipping in May but I just got an Email saying that 3 of them shipped ^_^ That's great news! I'll let you know when they are in.

BTW, just got back from another overtime day at the casino (still have 12 more days left before this insanity is over). I'm going to eat dinner now and get back to packing. A Goomba's work is never done :) I will try to respond to as many Emails and inquiries as possible. Nearly 80 of them! *Head Spins*
Hey goomba, just wondering how much would it cost in total to ship this here to Canada?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846

I tried checking out with the item, but it came up to $23 dollars =/
Just wondering if it would be a little cheaper if I used your service.
Not 100% but

Item price - $9.77
Shipping (Item Weight: 1.6 pounds) - $6.50
Service Fee - $2.00
Total - $18.27

You can probably buy cd-keys off those websites that sell them for cheaper

I think I am slowly losing my mind :) I'm working almost 100 hours this week, I'm up at 3:30 AM when I have to get up at 9:00 AM and I'm packing a 48 pound box of items for a giant GFC order. In two weeks I have to somehow manage to file all my taxes with the IRS, visit my mom who is flying up from Florida today, celebrate Easter, work another 7 days straight at the casino job, catch up on almost 100 GFC orders, help my wife prepare for her China trip in two weeks, pay all my normal bills. WOW. Talk about an insane two weeks. I will sleep very well on 04/16/2010. At least I can hope so.

I'm honestly considering to stay up all night right now though I'm not sure how I will function tomorrow. I am truly mad =)

Still up at 5:51 AM. No going back now =P man oh man I can't wait to get some sleep later in the day (hopefully before 10PM ... not so sure I can do 36 hours). Wish me luck!

wow goomba you are one busy guy. i thought i was busy working 2 jobs (60+ hours) a week.. still finding time to play my games and hanging out with friends haha but im 21.. so i can manage =D. i would kill somebody if i had to work 100+ hours though haha

Yeah, I'm absolutely insane. No way I want to pull another 30+ hour day anytime soon. The good news is I just dropped off the 44 pound package, the 15 pound package and the 11 pound package. So now that that's behind me and I've drained myself of all my energy, it's time to go to work and deal a super-busy NAPT tournament. Fun, fun, fun.

I just have to tell myself this will all be over in two weeks! Thanks for your support guys :)

Hi Goomba,

I don't know if it's normal (your situation these days obviously isn't) but GYROS doesn't seem to have been updated since a long time. Updating it ASAP would help us buyers to stop wondering what's happening with our purchases, thus reducing the traffic of "what's happening with my stuff?" in this thread.

I ordered something on your site last tuesday night. I'm not panicking, I know you're a pro, but I'm just hoping the deal won't end on Amazon before you have the time to put the order in.

Try to take some rest, or you'll grow white hair before your time. :D

Yeah I know, sorry publicsd. The thing is I thought it'd be better to work on the actual orders and do the GYROs later. I'm not looking forward to having my hair turn white but I should have GYROS up to date by Sunday night. Don't worry ;) Thanks!

Even though I haven't ordered anything (I will one of these that's for sure) I check this thread every day and some times two or three times just because reading it is so much fun. You're awesome Goomba!

Athena Bast, that's awesome that you check up on us :) We are going to constantly be adding new things to the site so whenever you do decide to order with us you'll have all the info you need. Really appreciate it ^_^ Feedback is always welcome!

Oh and semi-good news guys. I have been up almost 27.5 hours without sleeping, but I got sent home from work today which means I can sleep, wake up around 8:00 and get a ton of new DR's processed and more items shipped out. Thanks for supporting me through these crazy times. We got the biggest and most difficult orders done (some going back as far as November 2009 if you'd believe it) so that's a huge burden lifted off our shoulders ^_^ See you tonight!
