GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Hey Goomba, I just wanted to ask a quick question, sorry for not reading through all the posts, im a canadian gamer and ive always been frustrated with online sales only in the US, I tried ordering Madworld and Okami the other week because they are both extremely cheap, when i went to do checkout however there was $50 dollars worth of shipping, which i thought was kind of ridiculous so i decided not to order. If I was to order through you do these charges get waived, and then i only pay for you to ship them to me on top of your service charges? any help would be greatly appreciated

What happens if we make a mistake on our estimate, whether we over or underestimate? Do we get refund or credit, or get billed again later?

** GFC COMPLETE STATS **

The Great GFC DR Purge is upon us. All the orders that have been submitted via the website that have NOT been paid for will be purged from the system. This will clear up orders that have timed out, are no longer available or were only estimates to begin with. In order to move forward with the service and site updates, this is a necessary step. If you sent in an Direct Request but do not see your order, please let me know and I will look into it for you :)

Okay here are the Stats:

Orders Being Processed (TOTAL): 109
Direct Request Orders To be Purged: 55
Package Forwarding Orders Not Yet Processed: 0

Again, if you have an order with us that you have NOT heard from us back, or if you do not see it in the GYROS page, please let us know :) Thanks guys! I will wait until Saturday before purging them. ^_^

CaptainKishimoto, the #90-341 is our box number with the UPS Store that we use. So it's the number that uniquely identifies our business account. You can typically put it in the Address 2 section of a web ordering form or as an apartment number.

Myv, Yes the $0.99 cent shipping seems to be what everyone is mentioning. Just remember to also add the 6% Sales Tax on top of it (they also tax shipping so add $1.00 to your item cost and then multiply by 1.06 first).

capitol, you're very welcome. Please let me know which orders were yours because I didn't have your CAG Username linked to your account for some reason :) Thanks!

Kooney, not a problem. I don't expect you to read through 2 years and 7809 posts to find the answer. MOST stores in the USA offer free shipping or very cheap shipping for American customers (list of stores is in the first post in this thread for some popular favorites). So for most orders you pay: actual cost of item, shipping to Canada (typically $3.00 USD per game) and our service charge of $2.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item. That's it. Full details are on the site, but yes, ordering with us you'll save a TON over those ridiculous costs many stores charge to Canadian shoppers :) Welcome to the club!

DJ Ghostmare, we always go by actual costs so if for some reason you over-estimate we will apply the credit to your account and if you under-estimate than we will of course invoice you for the difference. Not to worry :) We're very good about our record keeping and very soon it will be listed on the website for your records as well. Thanks!

Goomba, have you received Super Street Fighter IV yet? You got my payment for the extra shipping in order to ship SSFIV and Red Dead Redemption separately, right? I doubt you forgot about that, but just wanted to make sure. Also, it's been 11 business days since I ordered Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata. Still nothing? I know the GYROS are very up to date, but for some reason I need to hear it from you. Sorry.

My order was #1077 / 150142605. I don't think I registered for a user account for your site when I ordered so maybe that's why there isn't my info in your database. I think I'll go do it now since I intend on doing business with you again.:D

Gombay, I just picked up the games and yes your SSFIV is in there :) I will be updating GYROS today and will ship out accordingly. Thanks!

gecko, I shall go do that. :)

Noice! :D

Hi goomba478, I've seen that my 360 fightstick has been shipped to me and I am really happy. To which email do I send you the remaining 3$ payment. I'm still confused because I sent you 2 payments to your personal email ([email protected]) and on the first time there were fees I think but on the second payment (7$) you said there was no fees. I will pay with my credit card via PayPal. So that's it : to which email (jjparks or canadapayments) do you want me to send the final payment? Thanks in advance. I'll thank you again when I receive it :).

Best regards,
BaddestMan

Hi goomba478, I PMed you regarding my remaining shipping payment. I wait your answer to pay you. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
BaddestMan

Im surprised Goomba that you havn't implemented a system to auto-purge stuff within 7 days of non-payment... That seems easier than the rest of the stuff you coded for your website!

Gombay, thanks for getting back to me. Sorry I posted in the other thread lol. I have a lot going on :) Hard to keep track sometimes hehe.

BaddestMan, I PM'd you back. Thanks buddy.

RoganSarine, The only reason I haven't done so yet is because I'm afraid the system (unless I programmed it perfectly) would purge orders I didn't want it to. I will eventually do something along those lines once I implement the pre-pay system on the actual site, but for now I haven't because I'm afraid of losing orders ^_^ You're right that it'd be easy to code, but I just like to keep some things manual for now. That'll change eventually though :)

Thanks again for the answer. I will pay you tomorrow. My internet connection is very laggy tonight and I don't want to screw up on PayPal. I'll give positive feedback as soon as I receive my fightstick.

Goomba, is there any chance you could cancel my Red Dead Redemption from Gamestop and order it through Amazon instead with the $20 credit? Or would that screw up the 25% off deal since it needed the order to be $100+? It's only about a $5 difference, but I don't really want the $10 GS credit. :p

Gombay, Hmmm....I'm not really sure to be honest with you. I could probably return it for you but in all honesty Gamestop's going to start being suspicious of me or something since I've had 5 people this week ask me to return things they ordered from Gamestop. I really think it's not a good idea to keep doing because if they assume I'm buying things for resale or whatever they could potentially bar my account (which would suck). I will let you know after I get the item if I can do the return/re-buy from Amazon though.

wizic, yeah it's been a really hard month for me but I'm recovering slowly. I'm not the kind of person to sit around and mope so no worries...I'm just going to keep GFC'ing away, lowballing and working as much as humanly possible. I shall recover :) Thanks for checking on me though, I do appreciate it ^_^.

Ah, forget about it than. It's not that big of a deal. Thanks anyway. :)

Goomba,

Little bit of an odd request... But do you know where I could find 90 lb - 100 lb paper stock (paper thickness)? It's been a pain trying to find thick paper in canada, and it seems equally difficult to get a good price in the states. I just need thick white paper, dammit! (8.5 x 11, ~50 sheets)

I'm off to bed guys. I'm going to be working at my University job tomorrow until 6PM and then it'll be back to business. Please remember to check out my Lowball sale ^_^ I added a ton of new games today and yesterday. More coming tomorrow as well :) Thanks!

Ha, damn... You sure 50 pages would only be 11.50 after shipping to canada? That's like 6 lbs of paper! That, and... You know how you'd package paper to avoid bends? I wouldn't have a clue.

I imagine it'd be shipped as a document rather than a parcel... maybe not though

Just put in an order for a copy of FFXIII Goomba.

They can't be purchased with a Canadian billing address, so I put the order in through the website.

Shipping is indeed .99! =D

Nevermind I think I answered my own question. You ship to Canada from the US? So then that would be a no go on the Futureshop stuff.

He could do stuff within the states (he has before), but I can't see why you would need him to.

He rarely ever deals with going to stores for specials or YMMV items though.

It's all sold out atm, not sure when it will restock. Only reason I didn't place in DR immediately for this @_@;; I knew this would happen.

Sigh =/

Yeah it sucks. I told you guys, Kmart and Sears (who owns them I believe) are awful, awful companies when it comes to online sales. Since there are no local stores here it makes it almost impossible to get their deals. It sucks for sure, but who knows, they may come back in stock later on. I'll do my best to order some copies if it does. I had to go to bed last night at 1:00 otherwise I would have stayed up. I didn't know they'd be available so early in the morning. Sorry about that. I will try to get some if they come back though.

Hey goomba. Another quick question. When do you calculate and refund overpayment on ebay items that were won for cheaper? I want to see how much i have left with you, because i want to get an item off of amazon.com and will cover the difference if i don't have enough.

Hey Goomb, if the paper would cost roughly $15 to get to Canada, you can go ahead and order it when you got time. I don't really need all the sheets, but $10 is cheaper than anything I can find in Canada if I only get like an eighth the amount.

Xover, the way we calculate it is simply we subtract the amount you paid minus the actual amount you won the item for. Right now you have $23.00 credit total with us at GFC :) If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks!

RoganSarine, I'd be happy to order it for you. The price I mentioned above was simply for the paper (not including shipping costs) but if you want me to order it for you I'd be more than willing. I could definitely do $15.00 for the 50 sheets. Let me know :)

** GFC GYROS UPDATE **

As part of our efforts to clean up the GYROS page, keep everything flowing in an orderly fashion and make things as organized as possible. Here are some things I've done:

1) Orders that shipped in April have been moved to the archive page as they generally are.
2) All orders that are classified as Pre-Orders have been moved towards the bottom of the page in the Pre-Order section.
3) All of the "What People Ordered" photos have been cleaned up. I've removed as many duplicate entries as possible and kept things organized.
4) ALL items on the "What People Ordered" photo gallery now have names and tags, so you can simply CTRL+F and find your items most of the time. It also helps to figure out what the heck some items are :)
5) I will be breaking down orders week by week now (based on when they were added to the system). So on GYROS you will see Week 1, Week 2, etc. for each month.

More changes and updates to come. In the meantime I will continue to process orders, ship orders and update the GYROS page as we go along. Thanks again!

** OUCH! **

I just got home, was checking my mail and a 2" bee flies up to me and stings me directly in the middle of my right arm. I haven't been stung since I was like 6 years old. Man does that hurt....Excuse me while I go put some ice on it =P

Oh and wizic, you still have $9.50 Credit. Thanks!

Thank you so much wizic! I have to say guys, I'm so blown away by your compassion and generosity. You as a group have done more than all my friends and family together. That speaks volumes of your character is and precisely why I love doing business with you :) You really are the best of the best =) I really do appreciate all that you do for us!

Hi Goomba,

I just noticed that they replenished stock.
Is it possible for you to help me order Bayonetta (PS3) and Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) from Kmart.com right now?
I tried doing it myself for a package forward request but they do not accept Canadian Paypal addresses or Canadian billing addresses. :/
Thanks. :)

Leshita, how did you find FF13? I thought they took down the link to the item since you can't even search for it anymore.
Hey Rogan, any reason to not buy from Staples? It seems that you can get 250 sheets of card stock for ~17: http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=490887
I will go look into it if Goomba hasn't bought it yet (even if he has, I would just buy both anyway -- I can always use more). The only problem is I think 110 lb is slightly too thick for my printer. I think my printer maxes at like 109, so 100 lb would be ideal.

I tried to order it and it looks like it went through though checking out it said "Are you sure you want to order this item. This item is out of stock" but it did let me check out, so I guess cross your fingers!

Thank you for shopping at Kmart.com —We have received your order

Order Confirmation Number 14041****

Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)....

I'm crossing my fingers for you Leshita and the two others that ordered FFXIII =P

(PS: It doesn't seem like the Xbox 360 version works under any circumstances).
