GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Let me know if you're interested. This is one of my must-own games on my own personal list :)
Thank you for shopping at Kmart.com —We have received your order

Order Confirmation Number 14041****

Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)....

I'm crossing my fingers for you Leshita and the two others that ordered FFXIII =P

(PS: It doesn't seem like the Xbox 360 version works under any circumstances).
Thanks!

*crosses fingers in his sleep*

I have only gotten Bayonetta to go through and the FFXIII for PS3. I did them as separate orders and there's a very good chance they will cancel the FFXIII but I tried anyhow.

Hey goomba,

I just checked GYROS, it says that you have received the package. How much do I still owe for the shipping? o.o How many pound is it?

Thanks!

FF13 is officially OOS right now at K-mart and they've removed the "add to cart" option. Looks like your orders have a pretty good chance of going through then, Goomba.

Shanku, what was the order number or GYROS listing number? Let me know and I will send you the invoice for the shipping. Thanks!

capitol, thanks for the update. That's good that at least we'll get a couple of them. They did successfully charge my credit card, so it seems you may be right. Too bad I couldn't get the 360 version but I'm sure the game will drop in price soon anyhow as there's just so many games out on the market and that's what they tend to do.

Hey Goomba, I got an email saying that my package had been shipped, but it didn't specify which one. :) Was it Eternal Sonata/Lost Odyssey or SSFIV?

Hey Goomba,

I believe this is it.

#1143 / 1984190914 - Monster Hunter Tri: Controller Bundle (Wii) - Paid. Item Received. Need Additional Shipping $.

How are you sending me the invoice? Via PM?

Thanks!

Gombay, that would be your Super Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360). Sorry about that :) I put it on the GYROS but forgot to mention it in the Email. Yours came separately from all of the PS3 copies which was why I had to wait an extra day or two. Originally I thought you had ordered a PS3 one as well, but then you reminded me in the other thread. I'll let you know when the others ship. :)

Shanku, I will send you the invoice tonight to your Email address, no worries. I will ship it out as soon as I receive your payment. So if you pay tonight I'll pack it up immediately and ship out first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks again!

Hey Goomba,

Is it ok if I send you a Amazon.com GC to you instead of Paypal to the same address I've sent previously?

Thanks!

Yeah of course, that's always an option :) Amazon Gift Cards are accepted as payment for almost all orders except for really, really expensive ones. Thanks!

** GFC SYSTEM UPDATE **

Just to let you guys know, as of June 1st (possibly sooner) I will be doing away with the "DR Classic" form on the GFC website. It causes way too much confusion for new customers and even existing customers still use it for the wrong purposes. Instead, I will be modifying the standard Direct Request form to better accommodate Package Forwarding orders and will allow PF customers to pre-pay their shipping and service fees in the same way standard DR orders are now. This, along with a genuine pre-payment system will clear up a lot of confusion, backlogs and needless Emailing back and forth :) In the meantime though I'm just going to be backing like a madman ^_^ Thanks guys!

Hey Goomba, just sent an email regarding the Casio watch. The one you said you would order wasn't the correct model, I originally wanted that one but decided not to get it.

The payment was for a different model which I sent a Direct Request for last night. Hopefully you didn't order it from Amazon.com yet, but if you did, I think you can cancel. Please get back to me on this when you get the chance :)

Hey Blackric, I did that on purpose to double check that it was the correct watch (which it obviously wasn't). I noticed you said Casio but the price didn't match what you were sending, so don't worry I didn't order the wrong one yet. Please let me know the exact right model (with a URL link) and I'll go ahead to order it for you :) Sorry for the scare!

Thanks Blackric, I have successfully ordered your watch :) Sorry for any confusion. I never received that DR for some reason, but it was in the system so it went through without a hitch. Appreciate it!

Whew, thanks, worried that the confusion would cause some delays, good thing I re-read your email! I just saw your subject line and thought nothing about it until now.

** GFC Global Takeover! **

[Warning: Large Post with lots of pictures =P ]

Are you curious how many people we have currently ordering from GFC? Which Provinces? Which Cities? Which Countries? Wonder no more! I have taken the time to Geo-map out all 542 registered Direct Request customers (Package Forwarding customers not yet tagged) into a single database and now with the magic of modern technology, you can see these places mapped out for you in lovely screen shots. Let me demonstrate (don't worry I won't zoom in enough that people can see street level or anything like that ^_^):

Pretty awesome isn't it? For the record we have 542 current DR customers (more than all the 4 generations of Pokemon combined!) ... We're off to a great start, but the pictures show that we really have to start working on spreading to Asia, Africa and South America more :) Come on guys. We can do it! GFC Global Domination commence!

Hey Goomba,

gratz on great start for world domination ;p
I've sent you the Amazon.com GC for the missing shipping fee.

Is also possible to know the estimate date of arrival as well? XD
(I think it's better than me waiting anxiously like a nervous little kid at the door everyday at the back of my head since I have work to concentrate on as well.)

Thanks Goomba!

Thanks!

Thanks a bunch Shanku. I have received your payment and logged it into the program(s). It typically takes 7-10 days to get there. Ontario tends to be closer to the 7 days mark so hopefully you'll get it lickity split :) I'm jealous of that controller it comes with. It looks very cool indeed!

Nice. the GFC epidemic sure is spreading. Looks like you've hit every Canadian province. I wanna see a Yellow Knife and Nunavut order though :D

Haha yeah it's pretty awesome how much we've spread our services so far. If that's what we've done in two years imagine us in the next two years at the pace we're going. It's a lot of work, but I really do enjoy it. Once I get all my collective practices together and finalized then it'll be smooth sailing =) Getting there little by little. Thanks again for all your support guys!

Loving Monster Hunter Tri right now! The controller pro feels very nice and comfy, I bought the white one to match my N-Wii system :bouncy: Can't wait to play this online with Shanku :D

hahaha nice GFC Global Domination! I suppose you are going to change GFC's name one day ;)

Haha, great job on your world domination, Goomba. Any chance we'll
get to see your packaging room someday in all it's messy glory?;)

Goomba, I got the Disgaea 3 copy. Thanks for getting me a sealed copy, I admit I was pretty surprised when I saw it. :) Leaving feedback now.

Myv, first of all I'm really glad you're enjoying Monster Hunter. I have to admit I technically own all the games in the series but have never played any of them yet. Will jumping into Tri ruin anything for me or is it not that kind of game? I always assumed it was something of a Pokemon game (battling/collecting monsters) but the previews made it look more RPG-ish in nature. I'd love to hear what type of game it is since I thought it looked gorgeous (especially for a Wii title). As for changing the name, I won't necessarily change GFC's name but I am going to have off-shoots very soon with different names and similar (yet slightly different) services. More on this over the summer ^_^

capitol, haha I don't think so. Again, photos of this awfully messy work area would cause some small children to turn to stone. It's absolutely awful. Not awful as in like dirty pig-sty awful but more like "Oh man, could you fit any more cardboard into this tiny living space" awful. I'm working on it :)

Icetron, it wasn't easy to finagle the sealed copy but my wife went to the manager and personally asked him to look in the back :) You're very welcome!

This is actually my first Monster Hunter game, but from my experience, research and friends explanations you won't miss a thing at all. Every series has a mediocre story line, the main core of the game is just to hunt monsters alone or with friends, upgrade your armor and weapons, and rank up online to do harder quest to yield rarer materials. The play-style is very much like Demon's Souls, but all the weapons have different combos and nifty techniques you can do with them.

I actually suggest jumping right into Monster Hunter Tri and forget the rest of the series mainly because this game requires a bit of time and effort to rank up online but its not so tedious that you won't have time to set aside for (like FF11 Online). You'll want to play the series with other hunters, unless you have friends who sits next to you to play the PSP version MH3 is the way to go. You'll receive an unique ID to your hunter's name when you first log online and other players can add you to friends list via the ID (ID and hunter name are separate so you won't have to worry that your name is taken). You should start your offline hunts for a bit (tutorial kinda thing) and grab some armor and weapon then you can hop right into a lobby system online and play with up 3 other hunters. Most of the quests offline (Village) and online (City) are the same but doing the quests online won't complete them offline, and the online versions are definitely a lot tougher, compensated with better materials at higher quests. There are quite a few event quests that happens as well and change every few weeks which are only doable online, this is to obtain special materials to craft event gears. Difficulty level of this game can be comparable to Demon's Souls at least for the high end quests where you can't really take more than 1 or 2 hits.

Myv, thanks for the great little writeup :) Now I understand a lot more what it's like. So in a way it's kind of a standalone MMO that can be played single player or with a group of friends? That's pretty cool actually. So you can ever actually complete the game? One of the reasons I can't stand MMO's is that they never end. That and I don't really have the time to sit down and play them for hundreds of hours. I play mostly portable games, but if it's the kind of game I can sit down and play for 30 minutes that's cool.

Also, can you jump into your friends game at any time? Or do you have to meet in a centralized location and all that? I'd love to know :) Sounds quite cool. Demon's Souls is another game I have been meaning to play but just haven't had time. Busy, busy!

Yep you can complete the game, the quests are separated into star tiers (*) so the more * there are the harder it gets, in these tiers are separated into regular quests, key quests (continues the story) and urgent quests (continues you to next tier which comes after you complete the quests in that tier). Online just builds on top of that, using the quests to rank hunters up and its denoted by HR (Hunter Rank).

You'll like this I think, each quest you have a time limit of 50min. to complete and 3 deaths allowed before failing for the party. So you'll never spend more than 50min. on a quest, gathering quests ends quite fast too and each quest has its subquests where if you complete them you get more reward and gold.

Once you've added your friend if there is room in the lobby he/she is in (4/lobby) you can choose to warp there. One person will select the quest, and the other 3 players will join the quest via Quest Board. CAPCOM basically has 4 servers set-up, general, high HR, higher HR, and recruitment. Just join any of them and you'll be able to join gates that holds up to 100 players per gate, you won't actually see anyone yet when you join a gate, within the gate though you will find the city allocator which holds the lobbies.

I should note that all drops off monsters, bosses, mines, herbs, etc. have the same amount of times you can gather/carve for each player, so there will never be any fighting over materials. Also when you've completed the quest, you'll get materials as rewards, and it is equally given to all hunters, I'm not sure if everyone gets the same rewards but I'm sure its pretty close to or the same.

The game mechanic is pretty detailed as well, like a monster has specific weak spots down to the hands/tails/manes/etc. Each weapon has their own unique play-style which requires a bit of skill to master. You'll have to sharpen your weapon when it gets dull during fights, some quests requires you to capture and not kill (will yield different or more rewards), lots of different sets of armor + weapon for different power ups or makes you vulnerable to different things, huge amount of combinations to craft from potions to traps. Your own village also contains a farmland where you can cultivate herbs/mushrooms/honeys/bugs for crafting items to use on the battle field, also ships you can send out to retrieve spoils, fishes, monster items.

One main thing they added to Tri is the ability to swim in water, and have battle in water which is quite awesome :)
I would check that out a bit to give a bit of a better idea what you will be dealing with when jumping into the game, its a lot to absorb haha! Hope to see you hunting one day :)

Gosh, this game sound ridiculously awesome =p You are tempting me to open one of my sealed copies and play it but I know if I do that I'm not going to get any packing/cleaning/work done =P Hopefully I'll catch up within the next week or two and have game time again ^_^ Thanks for the excellent and very thorough reviews and run downs. Sounds exactly like the kind of game I'd love =P

Haha, np hit me up when you do play we can hunt together :) There is a CAG thread in the Wii section as well, always someone looking to play together with other CAGs.

jeffx, funny you ask. I just got an email not even 2 minutes ago saying that the Kmart PS3 copies of FFXIII have shipped. I have one copy that isn't claimed yet so if they do indeed show up you can have the last copy :)

Please thank Mrs. Goomba for me as well then. :D I hope to deal with you again soon. ;)

Shipped?! Sweeeeet! :D
Thanks Goomba for ordering them! :)

Hey Goomb, I just got my Zombies!!! game in today and had a couple buds over to play it.

It is definitely one of the funnest times I have had in a long time without needing to rely on video games (since we don't have any place locally to play basket ball or something nicely).

I have never had so much fun with a board game, and will definitely be buying the rest of the expansions from yooooou

I'm here :) I hope you started your game and ended it with "This game was brought to you by GFC - Your favorite package forwarding company since 2007". :)

Funny you said that... Yeah I did :p I told everyone to go thank JJ from GFC.

I constantly tell them to check amazon.com before they buy shit because I can get it imported. I just send a DR for 2 expansions -- there is one left of each (for super cheap), so please make my life really happy!

Tell me what the shipping will be if you will and Ill send it.

Just so you know though, they weren't sold directly by Amazon.com so they will have a $4.00+ charge per item for shipping. I put it in with PayPhrase payments, so if you want to cancel let me know FAST. Thanks :)

I know it had $4 shipping or whatever... Still it's $5 off the retail price :p

The game is fun, but we ran outta tiles fairly quickly. I need to expand the map!

Okay just wanted to make sure you knew that :) they both only had one left for each so consider them yours ^_^ The game does sound really fund. I can totally see that being a blast to play with friends. Back in the day after Magic: The Gathering and all that we found a game called "Brawl" which was a sort of card-game / fighting game. It was really unique and fun and my friends loved it. It didn't last long, but when it did man we had a ton of fun...card games/board games are the best with friends!

By the way thanks for spreading the word about GFC. It really does mean a lot :)
