GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Thanks Sinath :) I appreciate it.

I'm going to bed now guys. I'm dead tired and still have to work in the morning. I just wanted to say two things:

1) Thank you again and again for your support. It does drain me processing orders with nearly all my free time, but I do believe it'll pay off one day. I couldn't do it without you :)

2) If you are ordering with a direct request (DR) and you estimate the shipping a LOT lower than the actual shipping, you're only complicating things in the long run. Nearly half of the time when people estimate an item to weigh one pound and it weighs say 4 or 5, it only slows down the process for everyone. It makes my job like 10x harder and requires invoicing 2 or 3 times total. If you are not sure of an item weight, just ask me and I'll give you an honest estimate. Chances are I've shipped the same item or something very similar in the past :) Thanks guys!

Just a heads up. EBGames.com and GameStop.com are having a 25% off used games sale, and another 10% off with your edge card. (Edge discount first, and then 25PRE discount after)(The Canadian Edge card works on the U.S. site)

Just picked up FFXIII 360 for $32.00.

If you do shop with them, remember to use the Via Preference Eboutique to earn Via Preference points.

Shipping is free if you ship to Goomba. (You do pay tax though, was $4.00 taxed on a $75 order for me)

With the dollar doing so well, you can't beat 35% off of some of their used prices =D

Thanks for the heads up on the new Gamestop sale :) That makes it almost equally as cheap as the Target sale. Good find. I told you that I had a feeling they'd be doing something like fairly soon ^_^.

Shame, many of the used games I wanted at Gamestop.com are out of stock, Afrika, Disgaea 3, Demons Souls, Episodes from Liberty City

How often does used games come back in stock if ever?

Finally paid off my debt to you Goomba! YAY!

I also sent in a new DR for Rightstuf. I'm hoping you get to it before the sale ends today. I had to pay in 2 steps cause I'm stupid and forgot to pay for shipping from Rightstuf.
Thanks Spino :) Got your payment and already ordered the Evangelion CDs from Right Stuf for ya buddy. Appreciate it!
Thanks a lot Goomba :D.

Hey Goomba, generally speaking, what's the longest a domestic game shipment can take (assuming it hasn't been lost in the mail :whistle2:k). It's been 18 days since I ordered Lost Odyssey/Eternal Sonata. Just wondering. Thanks.

Spino, you're very welcome.

Gombay you will be happy to know both of your games just came in :) Technically speaking the longest I've ever had a domestic game take that wasn't lost would be like 30 days but it's SO rare. 7-14 does happen though. In your case it was 18 as you said, but I'm happy they showed up. I'll update the GYROS and try to get them out to you tomorrow :) Thanks!

Oh, nice. Glad to hear it! :)

Hey JJ,

Haven't really gotten a confirmation from you so I'm just checking in to make sure you got that large payment for the Gamestop order that I was waiting to clear? With the difference in exchange rate between then and now, I got bit for roughly $8 more, but of course I sent you the amount of the original USD payment. That should be more than enough to take care of that order.

Also, for order #1175 / 1639147603 - I actually placed this order twice intentionally, I'm having two of these items forwarded to you but would like them shipped separately. Just not sure you're aware of that, as you only put it once on the Gyros page. Also, if you care to make a note (or not), the product itself is actually backordered a few weeks, so I don't expect this to arrive immediately or anything.

And ALSO also, for order #1102 / 2100777307 - Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) - Paid. Waiting for Item. - this was an Amazon DR I paid for and you bought right away (it was a gold box deal), way back on April 13. Especially given the fact that you have Amazon Prime, it seems really strange that you're still waiting for it almost a month later. is anything wrong?

emjaymj, I got your payment. Can you list the complete list of items from Gamestop that you were getting? Please let me know. As for the item you ordered twice, that's fine. I'll look out for them and will ship them separately. As for Batman, yeah it's really unusual that it takes more than 2-3 days to get here but it's possible it's waiting at USPS and they forgot to give me a slip to pick it up. I'll ask them about it tomorrow because it should have been here ages ago. I'll get back to you when I hear from them :) Thanks.

Hey Goomba, I was wondering...

Do you have any idea the maximum amount UPS will allow shipped before they will put custom/duties on it? Last time I did it, it was $60.

The reason I ask is because an ebay seller is offering pretty cheap shipping through UPS for miniature plastic army men, and I was wondering how many I could buy before they'd ding me.

RoganSarine, it's a lot more complex than that. It has to do not only with value, but also with what type of item it is, the size of the package, etc. Typically items under $60 are not charged duties, but it's not necessarily a Golden rule of shipping. UPS as I understand it is almost always charged brokerage fees =P Good luck though!

It's usually $25 CAD or less for no fees or taxes.

I mark most most items $45-$60 and they're usually not charged fees but I think officially it is closer to $40 and under. But who knows :)

Thanks in advance for taking a look at the Batman shipment for me. I made a goof with that order and placed the order with DR 2.0, not realizing until I had reached that point that the process requires me to pay your business account with all the extra fees, so I sent it to your private account. I posted about the mistake in this thread but if I remember correctly, it took quite a while to get up on GYROS and the shipment I guess could have conceivably come and, because of the possibility your system may not have identified it as mine at that point, you could have done something else with it? Like shipped or sold to someone else? I know that's a longshot, it's a bit uncharacteristic of Amazon to take so long. Normally I just PF bu this time I didn't so I can't go into the Amazon account and find the tracking number, but I would assume you've already done that?

I don't know about USPS, but here, they wait 5 days before deeming it undeliverable and returning it to sender. Something similar has happened to me before, where CanadaPost somehow thought the address didn't exist despite UPS shipping an Amazon order successfully on the same day (my address not even being manually entered both times, but rather through a click of the same button), and once that happened they automatically refunded me the entire cost. So if it's already been returned to sender or whatever, let me know but do NOT refund it to me without first talking to me. Thanks...

_______________________________________________

As far as the Gamestop order goes, I've emailed you a list and placed DRs to help you organize the shipments, but I'll post it here again for your convenience, broken down into the 3 shipments I would like you to adhere to, as they coincide with the release dates. This is from a text file I already had so I included the estimated weight, and the cost of shipping + fees:

Remember these are ALL for the PS3
 1. Lost Planet 2 + 3D Dot Game Heroes + Skate 3 = 14.4oz = $6.50 + 4
 2. Red Dead Redemption + Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands + Split Second = 14.4oz = $6.50 + 4
 3. Blur + Modnation Racers = 11.6oz = $4.50 + 3

Thanks again, hopefully there haven't been any issues, I'm a bit worried now however  Don't take it personally, anxiety disorders are really no fun, but that's why I feel like I gotta stay on top of things heh

You people and your money ha ha... I could NEVER spend that much on a game because I know I should really get my monies worth outta all my other games I never beat or platinumed (if I know it's doable).

Do you guys even have time to play that much, or is your backlog just as bad as me?

In the 3 years or whatever (since launch almost) I've owned a PS3, I only beat Resistance: FoM for the longest time. Then, in the Christmas holidays, I beat the original uncharted. I plat'd Rock Band 2 sometime last summer. Recently, I just beat infamous (3 missions away from a plat), and got my monies worth outta little big planet (too lazy to get the Create trophy, even though I could... I missed the influx if people, so getting hearts is impossible no matter how good my level is).

Which, by the way, they better make creating complex shit easier in Little Big Planet 2. To make bosses or some complex generators, you have to use so many switches an dissolvable stuff... While it's neat that you can do it, it's ridiculous what you have to go through when you could easily just use some 3 second C++ to do it.

emjaymj, I know that you had originally sent the Arkham order to the wrong place but I did order it immediately that day and no I didn't sell it to anyone else (I sold a used copy, but not the new copy I ordered for you). I'll get to the bottom of it for you. Thanks for verifying the Gamestop orders too. I'll keep you updated as things come in :)

wizic, I don't have any new copies of DMC4 sorry to say but thanks for checking. I do have the PS2 Collection New, but not DMC4.

Thanks retro.elite!

I don't have a backlog, this is roughly as many PS3 games in a single order as I've owned to date. But how can you say you would never spend that much when you don't even know the price? Gamestop USA had an excellent deal, and from experience trading in games to Futureshop/EB, most of these games, if I sell them within the next 6 months or so, will end up with at WORST a net cost to me which is still less than a rental, though admittedly it comes as store credit - which is fine because it won't put a dent in my cashflow and I will EVENTUALLY spend that money at those stores regardless.

Not all the games I listed are technically for me anyways, though I will have a chance to play them all. And while I do order a fair amount of stuff from Goomba, the majority of it has nothing to do with video games, buying so many games at once is very uncharacteristic of me and in the past I'd generally not even buy this many games in a year. A combination of price and the fact that I have major surgery in the near future, requiring me to recover on the couch for at least several weeks was why I placed this order. I think the latter reason is a particularly valid one, and despite the fact that I normally might only buy a couple games in a year, it's been merely a matter of desire rather than finances, and it seems kind of silly on HERE of all places to question people's spending on games...

The snide comment was totally unwarranted, and you being not just as a customer but somewhat of a friend of Goomba's, it's probably not the best idea to potentially make customers feel judged for the items they decide to buy right in his very own thread.

Setite, that's fantastic! If you hear from your friend about his order...I'm working on it :) He has a ton of items and I have to put it all together. This week is just really busy but I should have his invoice completed tonight. Thanks ^_^ So happy you got everything.

emjaymj, best of luck with your upcoming surgery. We really do appreciate your support ^_^ I don't think Rogan was trying to attack you though (he's too nice a guy). I think he was just saying he couldn't see himself ordering that much at one time, given his backlog and such, but I can see how his comment could be taken the wrong way.

Sorry, I'm a bit touchy lately and could definitely be taking things out of context. A good friend unexpectedly died just about a week ago under horrible circumstances and I'm having a difficult time with it. Thank you for the well-wishing though.

And also, I placed a PF order for a wallet and a coin pouch thing just on Wednesday (little birthday gift for myself which was yesterday, my current wallet is really worn out) but the tracking shows it's already out for delivery today. Funny how my most recent out of a total of (I believe) 9 orders is the one that comes in first).

I know as far as your UPS box goes, you check it when you check it :) The only reason I mention it is because my large amount of orders and whatever amount of credit I have (ignoring the gamestop order... please keep that money separate if it's not too much trouble) leaves me unsure whether there is enough credit to cover this particular item, which I'd really like to get ASAP because my current wallet is in horrible shape and I don't know much longer it's going to hold up... lol.

I'm fairly certain that the credit I currently have with you is more than sufficient, but I'm basically just asking that when you DO pick it up from UPS, if you could do me a favor of invoicing me ASAP so that if need be I can top up my credit before you mail out that batch rather than just having it stuck in "waiting for payment" limbo :)

I don't think Rogan is trying to attack you either emjay :)
Don't fight, all friends here! :grouphug:

After ordering Monster Hunter Tri, I am about to join some of you guys in this backlog collection circle. I just can't run from a deal especially if they are AAA titles. I only have one sealed though and 5~ that I still need to complete, MW2/BFBC2/MH3 definitely gave me its money's worth though must have logged days of playtime on MW2 & BFBC2 and MH3 is definitely going to go up that alley. I just love multi-player games :hot:

** GFC WEEKLY SCHEDULE **

Guys just so you know, the next 5 days are going to be insanely busy for me. Here's what my schedule looks like in a nutshell:

Friday: Working Casino 2PM-10PM. Doing GFC Packing/Invoicing 10PM-12AM.
Saturday: Working Casino 10AM-6PM. Lowball Auction Ending today. Doing GFC Packing/Invoicing 6PM-12AM.
Sunday:Working Casino 1PM-9PM. Doing GFC Packing/Invoicing 9PM-12AM.
Monday: Cleaning Office/House, Dropping off remaining packages from weekend off at the post office. Going to NYC to pick up wife from airport. Staying overnight.
Tuesday: Returning to Office/House (late evening).

So as you can see it's going to be an insanely busy next few days for me. I'll do my best to stay on top of everything. I will do my best to get as many packages out as humanly possible and as usual I process DR's in the order I receive them with preference to those who prepay them up front. Thanks again for you support guys :)

emjaymj, happy belated birthday buddy :) I won't be going to UPS until Thursday but I'll try to get your wallet right out to you when I do pick it up. Thanks again. I'm off to work now. Talk to you guys later when I get home from work later.

Okay, seriously, CAG doesn't want me to say sorry! Everytime I hit reply, the website gives me a critical error.

So, I will say AGAIN! Sorry, it was late and I should have really been going to bed at that time -- didn't mean to make it sound like an attack. Goomba had it right.

Hope the surgery and everything goes well! You do got a good list of varied games there. Im looking forward to trying Skate 3 out :p

Hey Goomba, what are the chances of being taxed/paying duty on a 2 pound $160 cpu processor? I could save $23 by ordering from you but not sure if I will be charged duty fees. Thanks. I'll be ordering from you in the summer once I'm off school.

hey goomba have you received and shipped my tales of vesperia for xbox 360 yet? amazon.com tracking says it was delivered on april 30.
my order is 904151411
thanks

Hi goomba478, I went to the post office this morning and you know what? My 360 fightstick tournament edition was there! So you shipped it on Monday and I received it on Friday. That's pretty fast ain't it? I've just tested it out and it is perfect. It's a beauty. Thank you so much. I know I was kind of annoying always asking for updates but hey you never know with who you deal and it was a big purchase but now I know :). I'll make some business with you again in the near future as I am a big gamer. Hopefully, I'll find some interesting deals and may the CD stay on par with the USD. Thank you again for saving me some bucks (this thing is 169,99$ on amazon.ca + taxes and it's the Round 2 design but Round 1 is a Blast too). To everyone else, don't hesitate ordering with Gamesforcanada.com!

Best regards,
BaddestMan

Got home rather late today (overtime) but I'll be working on packing/shipping/ordering tomorrow after 6PM. So here are some quick updates to your comments before I go to bed:

RoganSarine, it's all good :) I know you didn't mean any harm. Thanks for taking the time to apologize nonetheless though ^_^.

Fei.Jai, you will almost definitely be charged for that kind of item, so you may be better off just ordering it on your own. It's up to you though. You can use us, but there's a good chance it could happen.

helluvagood, yes I just picked it up as a matter of fact. Shipping out Monday when the post office reopens :) Thanks!

jeffx, I'm waiting until I actually have the physical copies in my hand. I will let you know when I get them in the mail :) Thanks.

BaddestMan, that's awesome! That is really fast actually ^_^ The fight stick is definitely beautiful and I'm glad to hear it plays great as well. You weren't annoying me with questions or anything, I just have had a ridiculously crazy last few weeks. Looking forward to doing business with you again in the near future :) Thanks again! I appreciate your feedback and order!

Off to work now guys. Remember the Lowball sale ends tonight between 10PM-11:59PM EST (exact time is not listed so get your bids in before it's too late). I will be processing orders again after 6PM today when I get home from work. Thanks again :)

Howdy Goomba,

I was thinking about putting a DR for Monster Hunter Tri - used from gamestop with their 25% of sale going on right now. How are GS.com's online used games? I remember hearing that they guarentee working game, cases and manual, but on the website it says you may not get the case/manual.

Cheers!

tkszeto, is Monster Hunter Tri in stock again? Last I heard they were out. They no longer guarantee the cases/manuals (though MOST New games do include them). If they don't they allow you to return them to the online store or local GS stores though. Let me know if it's back in stock and if you want to order one. Thanks!

It's not available online, hence the reason why it says it may not include case, manual, etc. (As you can only pick it up in a store that may have a used copy, so manual et all are YMMV)

Edit: Goomba got to it just a tad quicker than me =)

Hey Goomba I have a question. I tried ordering FFXIII and Bayonetta on the kmart site, but I only get a discount if I buy one game. Can you try and see if that's the site's fault or if it's mine (otherwise I have to make 2 seperate orders which is kinda weird). Thanks!
tkszeto, is Monster Hunter Tri in stock again? Last I heard they were out. They no longer guarantee the cases/manuals (though MOST New games do include them). If they don't they allow you to return them to the online store or local GS stores though. Let me know if it's back in stock and if you want to order one. Thanks!
(and @grsce)

It was showing in stock earlier this afternoon, but I guess it's all sold out now, D'oh! I'll keep my eyes peeled I guess.

If you happen to see it back in stock... :D Actually, if I sent you "payment" now, would you be willing to buy it for me right away if you happen to see it available again? If it doesn't become available before the 25% deal expires, I'll just use that money for something else (like more train toys!).

It's not just you.

It seems you would need to place two separate orders.

Cheers!
I thought that sale was expired but apparently this is a different one. Up until the end of the month, it was 25% off used AND new, but you had to spend $100. This one is apparently just 25% off for used games but no minimum purchase.

Don't forget to use your edge card though which hopefully you have one. The Canadian card works just fine on the American site for the purposes of the discount. The 10% off the card gives you on used games stacks with this coupon code. It's not additive, but rather one discount applied on top of the other, which in this case would amount to a 32.5% discount rather than 35%. Apologies if you were already fully aware of this. If you are doing a DR, I would expect that Goomba has a valid Edge card, but I dunno.

Yes, the Kmart sale is all funky. Just order them separately and it should work (if the items are still in stock of course). Good luck!

emjaymj, yeah it's a different sale for used games though they don't guarantee cases/manuals (though most new games do include them). Good luck on this as well :) Also be sure to remember Gamestop charges 6% Sales tax ^_^

I didn't know about the edge card, thanks for that. I don't have one unfortunately...

Goomba, do you have an edge card?
