GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Well JJ, the UPS tracking number says the package is held up because they need a phone number, so looks like I won't be getting it tomorrow heh

I'm guessing they mean mine. I'll email it to you right now.

hi im pretty new to this but i put in a request for alpha protocol and prince of persia from the gamefly sale and was wondering what do i do from here lol

I'm just quoting the above so you don't lose sight of the very important information since I have another post to make.

For the cordless phones (invoice #1508), for some reason I thought it was a DR and ignored the invoice  Going back on my emails though, I noticed my error. So to make up for it, I sent you a little, PERSONAL monetary gift.

By now, thanking you seems to be getting repetitive, but once again, thank you. That personal gift, so to speak, should settle everything. I was wondering why the phones hadn't shipped yet! lol

Mandulum, there's two ways you can deal with the Amazon Credits. 1) If you order yourself then you can keep the credit and use for a future purchase (use our Package Forwarding service) or 2) If nobody has ordered the item from us yet, we will simply subtract the value of the credit from the item. So if it's a $50 item, just put that it's $40 and we'll keep the credit for ourselves if you're ordering with our Direct Request service. This only works for items that nobody has already ordered since they're one per account. So just ask before you assume that the credit is available for a particular title :)

If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks ^_^

Just saying hi really quickly guys. I'm back in CT now and today I was moving the last of my personal belongings from my old house to my new one so I didn't get any time to update GYROS. I did put in all DR's though that were paid for. Tomorrow I'll be sending out invoices for new PF orders we've received and doing further preparations for Black Friday. Talk to you all soon :) Thanks!

Goomba...

I just checked the tracking number and it worries me LOL
There seems to be some issues I've never seen before. For instance... federal tax ID? This is a shipment from an individual to an individual. What gives?

Edit: Ack! Apparently it's being returned to YOU :( This is going far from as smoothly as I had hoped :/

I've used UPS enough times without a hitch, this is definitely frustrating :/

emjaymj, I have no idea what they're doing with UPS either. I did send it as a personal package along with a gift but was told I HAD to fill out the International invoice form if it was going to Canada. On the customs I put GIFT and made it clear that the value was $10.00 so I have no idea what they're doing. Again: I will not ship UPS for this reason, they're just too much of a pain internationally. For USA to USA they're simple as cake but Internationally they drop the ball as far as I'm concerned. If it gets returned to me I'll just have to ship it to you via USPS. Sorry man, we really did try.

blackric, I am indeed a PowerUp Rewards Member now. I'd be happy to order the Halo Reach Map Pack for you with the bonus =) just let me know when you're ready. Thanks!

wizic, refund sent in Full. Sorry Target never came through, we tried everything we could but the fact is they're just never getting it in stock again. REFUND SENT ^_^ Thanks buddy. Sorry that took so long.

Hey mate, I sent a PF request about more than a week ago. For a pair of Sennheiser headphones that I had shipped to your address. It says on amazon that it shipped to your destination on the 16th. Yet I haven't received any invoice for the PF shipping price or anything yet.

Discotheque, yes we received them :) We should be invoicing you on Monday when the post office re-opens and we can ship them out. We may be able to invoice you Sunday night but it depends. We'll be out of the office most of the day but we did receive them and we'll contact you via E-Mail shortly :) Thanks again.

philvo87, yes thanks. We ordered both of them for you. The only thing you forgot to include was 6% Sales Tax for the games (Gamefly charges tax) but we'll invoice for that later once we receive the games. Thanks!

Hey goomba,
did you receive the email that I would like my package to be sent to a different address then my usual one? I don't know if I sent it to the correct email.

Thanks!

Perhaps when you pick it up, you can find out from them precisely what the problem was? I understand your reservations, but if the problem is both clear and fixable, I definitely feel it would still be an option - the chances of another screwup after having these particular problems dealt with would be minute... and you could send it the instant you receive it to boot.

I know it's not really your fault, and if you still don't feel comfortable after finding out precisely what the issue is, I suppose the right thing to do is just go with your gut, although considering how long USPS takes, plus the current setback, it's quite a painful option for me so I'm REALLY hoping somebody at the UPS store can help you sort it out, because frankly, the UPS store and other postal outlets here wouldn't typically even consider taking your package without verifying ALL documentation required, so maybe you can just allow someone from the store to evaluate what went wrong? God knows I've spent more on shipping for simple screws than one should ever have to, something I'm hoping wasn't all for naught, and yet my main concern is the 2+ week ADDITIONAL wait I'd be looking at with USPS. Especially with the potential for Black Friday-related delays :/

So ultimately I would unimaginably appreciate at least a small effort sorting things out with the help of UPS staff, but I suppose I'd have no choice but to understand if you ended up going with USPS, no matter how much of a problem it creates for me (an even bigger problem would be not being able to procure them at all). Like I said in a previous post, it's unbelievably frustrating not having ANY control over such an urgent and important matter, and literally being at the mercy of, and wholly relying on, the performance of others - in this particular instance, you and the mail carrier(s).

It's become aggravating to the point where I notice I'm biting my nails lately - something I haven't done in over a decade heh. Don't get me wrong though, despite all I've said, I'm really not actually placing blame on you. In fact, I'm not entirely sure at this point where the blame lies, or whether it even lies anywhere at at all...

shijui, yes I got your Email and I updated your address in my books. Thanks!

Discotheque, no worries =) I'll be sure to contact you tomorrow when we're packing the items ^_^.

znal, no the package forwarding (PF) address is NOT a PO Box. It has a normal street address that appears to be an apartment number of sorts. So you can order from any site (even those that say NO PO BOXES, because it's not a PO Box ^_^).

emjaymj, the thing is I have no problem trying to track down the problem it's just that I personally don't like dealing with International UPS as they have held packages of mine in the past for the smallest things and it often takes hours (literally) to clear up. Even just packing this one initially took almost 40 minutes due to the paperwork and another 45 minutes to drive it to a UPS drop off location. If it's something easy to fix and I can do it on the spot I will, but in the future I really recommend not using them for International shipping. USPS Express Mail is far easier (takes less than a minute of packing/shipping label time) and is worth the extra money in the long run I think especially due to lower brokerage fees (for larger items). I really don't see what could have been done wrong with the package though. I'm a certified UPS shipper and I used my special link provided directly from them along with the forms they required and the people at the store verified the forms and scanned the package, so aside from them not having your phone number (which I previously didn't have so I used my phone number) I can't imagine...and surely a phone number wouldn't be enough to ship back an item would it? Anyhow I'll find out very soon once I have the package back and I'll let you know if I learn what happened. Thanks buddy.

Thanks. I've just sent a request to GFC Order Number #1375013318. I await your invoice and I'll have it paid off using Paypal. Remember to order before Nov. 30 cause I dunno if they'll continue to offer the helmet. Thanks!

edit: Btw, how do you plan to deal with Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Do you suggest we just order things ourselves and have it PF to you in order to get in on these deals?

Alright that sounds fair. You have my phone number now though, correct? I emailed it to you a few days ago.

The tracking info said something about a required phone number missing, but then it also went on about some federal tax ID. If you/they can figure out what the issue is and it can be easily resolved, I'd be ecstatic if you went ahead and continued with it (and at this point it MAY be the easier thing anyways.)

Of course though, the fact that I need it so urgently also means I have zero interest in encountering problem after problem after problem. If they can't explain it and assure delivery without any further problems to your satisfaction, by all means go with USPS. I'm just asking that you don't give up on it before even finding out the issue, heh. When it comes down to it, just use your discretion - I trust you to make a solid choice. And I apologize for all the extra time it took - I wasn't aware.

An issue that is bugging me a bit is that of the cost. Will they refund you? I've already spent way more than I'd ever have liked to on screws, and with my short-term money situation I've mentioned to you, paying twice for the same thing is going to be difficult, at least for the next week or so. If they DO refund you though (which, if everything was done by the book, they really ought to), and you happen to decide that trying again with UPS is not the best idea, then maybe we can consider this express mail - and speaking of which, if you have some free time to let me know how much THAT would cost, it'd speed up the decision quite a bit if it came down to it.

With all the urgency with which I need this package and the aggravation it's causing me, I temporarily lost sight of the fact that it isn't exactly fun for you either, and you're really doing way more for me than you need to. I'm sorry about that, and really grateful for all you've been doing regardless of the outcome so far.

blackric, thanks =) I'll make sure to order it before then so no worries. I'll get the helmet for ya ^_^ As for Black Friday, I highly recommend ordering items yourself with the Package Forwarding (PF) service as I'll be at work from 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM which is when most of the sales (especially Amazon.com's which start at 3:00 AM EST) are going on. It's a bummer because I tried to request the day off but got shot down by management at the last minute. Best of luck to you!

emjaymj, yes I have your phone number now. The only thing I can think of is that on the export/customs form it asked for your Tax ID but I just put "N/A - Personal Gift" because I think that's more for business to consumer or business to business. I don't see why you'd need people's social security (for USA) or tax ID numbers for just sending a small package, but I could be wrong. I'll find out once I receive it I guess, but in the meantime I have no idea what they're going on about.

As far as I know they will not refund me unless the error was on their part (I have a feeling they'll blame us somehow). If they do refund me though and don't give me a chance to fix the problem then I'll use USPS Express but I'll try to re-ship with UPS if at all possible. Maybe I'll bring it to the UPS store on Tuesday where I do my PF orders from. It's farther away but I work with the people every week and they know their stuff.

It's okay, I understand you just really want the items. I'll do everything I can to get them to you quickly. In the meantime keep me posted if you hear anything and I'll do the same. Thanks and good night buddy :)

** GFC / eBay Auctions **

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that two of our eBay items are ending in one hour from now. We have a super limited edition Mario Red DS Lite (NEW in Package with New Super Mario Bros.) which was bought a couple years back on Black Friday. It's the last one we have in stock and is going to go fast. We also have a copy of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS) NEW in Package.

-----------------
+ SPECIAL OFFER:
-----------------
I'm debating to try something new for those of you who have existing GFC Service Charge Credits (SCC's) on file with us currently. Let me know what you think about it: Since some of you have a LOT of credit, I was thinking (as requested by fellow CAG SVxM) that I may start letting you use some of that credit to buy things on our eBay auctions (please note I can't do this on video game systems, including the Mario DS listed above). This way we can unload some of our unused stock quickly and give you a fair chance to use your credits to buy something immediately if you have too much credit on file. Also, with our January update we hope to have the automated reward points in the system which would generate additional bonus SCC's for you with each DR or PF order. Let me know what you think =) If you have any suggestions or ideas speak up. Thanks!

Our eBay Auctions are all listed Here:

Hey Goomba just wanted to get an update on my order (#1825365543, Grado Headphones).

Also, it says additional shipping may be required. Could you elaborate on this?

Thanks as always.

Short, video version of my wall of text: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkDppBfR80I

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could call on my fellow canadian and goombinites to help out a local band here in Vancouver.

Since none of you probably know, my side job in Vancouver is a freelance concert recorder and photographer. I have like 3 professional photographers and myself as a cinematographer who can record concerts pristinely without tapping into the soundboard.

Anyway, we were at a local Battle of the Bands hosted by our local music store Tom Lee... And well... The current band in first place definitely does NOT deserve to win. They are winning by just having more fans. I was wondering if you guys could sign up on supernova.com and vote for Limn Vociferous :)

Oh, and as an added bonus, if you message me (Tyler-Wenzel) on Supernova.com, and Limn Vociferous wins, I will randomly draw someone out of every PM I'm sent to win an amazon gift card. And, you can vote daily, so for every vote you are able to do from now to Friday... I might give you a bigger amazon gift card than I usually would :)

It does indeed seem weird that they'd need something like a tax id/SS number (although here in Canada, the SS# - SIN - is used for taxes as well) and I'm having a hard time figuring out who they even mean. I've had plenty of packages ship from the US via UPS and they never needed anything of the sort - nor would I ever give it to them. The phone number is ALWAYS a requirement though.

I don't know how UPS operates in the US, but here, there are quite a few people even WISHING they could get a job with UPS - the pay is surprisingly good, particularly for drivers - but they actually require a decent resumé including experience with other carriers, and an extensive and ridiculous training program culminating in an absurdly difficult and tedious exam considering the job in lands you. The reason I mention all this is because if you were missing some sort of documentation, it's their job to make sure you have everything in order, and they're expected to be damn good and thorough at it, and if it were here, I'd see no reason why they wouldn't be entirely culpable. I don't want to ask you to waste a significant amount of time, but hopefully you don't allow yourself to be a total pushover either. They are, after all, supposed to be the professionals who know the process inside out - even if it was technically your fault, there are customers every day a whole lot less familiar with the shipping process than you are, and it's their job to MAKE SURE services are adequately rendered.

And I'm not saying that just because I'm in a position where I really can't afford to pay for the 2-day shipping TO you, UPS shipping TO me, and yet another mode of shipping to me (again), but even if I could, I really shouldn't be personally responsible for those costs merely for suggesting a quicker method of shipping that SHOULDN'T be rocket science, but on nearly as strong a note I don't think you should be responsible either, particularly when you make so little money off each package, especially when compared to the cost of the shipping (which in this case you think UPS would hang on to :()

But just to re-iterate an earlier post: You know the weight and (I assume) rough dimensions of the package to get an estimate for the cost of USPS's express mail service. If you could figure out that cost and let me know, I can consider it in the meantime and have an almost instant decision if/when it comes to that, saving time I cant afford to spend, heh

It's the last one we have in stock and is going to go fast. We also have a copy of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS) NEW in Package.

I think that's a great idea, lowball auctions would probably benefit from the same thing. Anything that is already on hand and doesn't require purchasing would clearly benefit from this idea, though obviously that's your intent. However, you may want to reconsider excluding the big ticket items. You sell the credits in bulk for something like 80% of their value, but perhaps, based on the value (or as arbitrary as you want) you can assign some sort of factor to allow people to buy big ticket items with credits as well? For instance, you can assign a factor of 1.25 to the DS, meaning if it sells for $80, it can be bought for $100 worth of credits - essentially, no discount. Of course, you can fine tune it to whatever you please - say, 1.2 - so that it comes out to $96 worth of credits, a 4% discount which may not be much, but it at least serves as a tiny incentive - and reward - for frequent customers/bulk buying of credits.

Just an idea. I think it's a LOT less complicated then I may have explained it as, but it's really very simple. Whet you ultimately choose is clearly up to you though - there's pros and cons to both approaches I suppose, and whatever you go with, It'll still a pretty great idea. and I'm simply responding to your request for ideas  But hopefully this post from me doesn't at all detract from the slightly more serious issue I'm dea;ing with right now, lol

** GFC Updates: Site-Wide Payment Types **

Good news everyone, I spent a couple hours working on some coding for the first time in a while (at least since June that I can think of) and I am nearly completed with the back end of our new payment system. The idea is that GFC credits will be two-fold:

1) Canuck Bucks (CB's): Unlike what I had planned in the past, Canuck Bucks will be the normal cash equivalent of the site. CB's can be used for Direct Request purchases, Lowball Auction Purchases, GFC eBay Purchases and can be converted to Service Charge Credits on the fly. These will be 1:1 credits meaning you get $1.00 Canuck Buck for each $1.00 USD you purchase and they will not be discounted. You can pre-purchase these through the website or pay through the site as normal.

2) Service Charge Credits (CSS's): This is the type of the payment that goes towards GFC Service Charges. This is realistically the only portion of the site that makes GFC any sort of profit, and therefore it's the only type of payment that IS flexible. You can purchase these on the website or directly through our Direct Request payment system as usual, but ordering in bulk will provide you with discounts ahead of time. In addition, the GFC Reward system will provide you with bonus SCC's based on your purchases and we may hold contests and other things to give out SCC's as promotional things. SCC's can be converted to Canuck Bucks but not at a 1:1 ratio.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Doing this 2-part system will allow us to set up the website in a much easier way. The site can check during your checkout of DR or PF orders and auto-deduct your credits before figuring out what you owe. In addition, once we verify and ship your items we can reward you with "cash back" in the form of future SCC credits.

This is something that will become standard as of January 2011, but I may run a BETA run sometime mid-December ^_^ More on this soon. Feedback is appreciated :) Thanks!

Hey JJ, any word on 205993017? Just wondering since GYROS might have been updated a bunch of times, and the package itself had been delivered on the 13. This was for the NineWest size 6 gray leather women's shoes from endless.com. Thanks!

Yay! My package came in today :)
Sure enough, you were definitely thinking of "Adam Lambert" while writing the note too...hahaha...

Hey Goomba,

I noticed according to the tracking #, the package arrived back at your place today around 1:00. I had assumed it was going to the store where you have your UPS box, hence why I thought it might be easier to maybe try UPS again.

However, maybe it's just the complete and utter urgency of the situation, but sometimes lately I'm feeling like you accidentally put me on your ignore list or something  Although the fact that you've gone above and beyond what you really need to do is a pretty clear indicator that I'm worrying just a *bit* excessively heh.

Anyways, now that you have the package back, there are a bunch details that create questions that need answers, some of which may lead to more questions - in short, a bit of a discussion is needed, and neither a forum nor email is very conducive to that. I'm desperately hoping you have the free time soon to start a chat room or something so this can be dealt with much more efficiently and unambiguously. And it's always nice to talk to you live :)

If that's okay with you - and again, I REALLY hope it is - could you shoot me an email when you're available (or with a time that you know you'll be available)? I don't have my own computer available for the next while so the chances I'll be hanging around CAG are extra-slim, but my android phone will give me instant notification when I receive an email, so I can be on in possibly even less than a minute.

Thanks again for the help. Hopefully using a chat room (or some sort of IM if you prefer) will make the whole back and forth of this entire process less exhausting for you.

Hi Goomba, I made the payment for the balance on Order Number: 1238539485.
Heya Goomba, hope all is well.

Just wondering, are a Gamestop PowerUp Rewards member? If so, are you taking orders for the upcoming Halo Reach Map Pack? Apparently, GameStops in the US are taking orders and will include an exclusive 'flaming helmet' avatar code.

Heres the link http://www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/...&utm_content=mainfeat&utm_campaign=PURHaloDLC

I'm hoping to get in on this, lemme know if ur taking orders.
I would also like to order this, is there a limit on it? I see blackric has already ordered one. I too would also like the flaming avatar helmet for the pre-order bonus. Let me know, thanks!

On a side note, I'll be in Minneapolis this thanksgiving to check out the BF sales. Its gonna be CRAZY just planned it a week ago with friends!! Tempted to pick up Need for Speed myself but don't want to go over my $400 limit. Watching trailers for Need for Speed makes me want to play it now... but GT5 also comes out in 2 days!!

Nevermind, I got the confirmation email today, I'm off to make a payment! Thanks!

znal, I received your payment and will be shipping your item within the next 24 hours :) Thanks for your fast turn-around. Pleasure doing business with you again ^_^.

addone, glad you got the package and yeah...sorry about that!

emjaymj, I did receive the package back but it was routed to my old apartment so I had to go and pick it up. The package was as I sent it but they had attached a blank customs form to it which seems to be the issue. I don't know why the store I dropped it off with didn't include the custom forms I printed from the website and filled out (or maybe they did and they were dis-satisfied with them at customs and mailed me back a blank one) but I'm going to call UPS' customer service this morning and see if I can get them to give me a straight answer. In any case if they are confident it will work without your Tax ID Number and just your phone number I'll mail it out again with UPS, but I'm really not happy with their service this week as another one of my customers had an issue with them as well (not something I shipped, but still). I won't be available for live GFC Chat Room until later in the evening but if you want I'll gladly try to put something together. I'll let you know how it goes with them. Thanks!

shadow_nine, to be honest I'm not 100% sure whether there is a limit or not. I could always try to order you one but I couldn't promise the bonus item (I'd give it to you of course if they do supply it to me). Definitely play the new Need for Speed....I've heard nothing but amazing things. Maybe just rent it though if you're buying GT5.

Yeah I thought the return address was a bit weird. At least it's only half stressful knowing it's just a blank customs form. Sounds like it's their fault and easily remedied. Fingers crossed that they agree and don't expect to be paid again!

Also I placed a direct request order via amazon gold box which needs to be ordered immediately. You know how it is. Don't mean to rush you yet again but I can't use my credit card at this moment. The order number is 534368035. I also paid for those cordless phones a little while ago. I don't know if you noticed. It had taken me awhile because for some reason I had thought it was a direct request. Turns out it was a package forwarding order and you had actually been waiting for the cash lol! I think that's probably the first time you've waited more than 2 days for a payment from me. I have to admit I'm not entirely on the ball lately.

Regardless, thanks again. I probably owe you a first-born child by now... heh

Hmm maybe I'll order the Noble map pack. The Gamestop/EBG here in Canada is still unsure whether or not they will have that bonus (Some CSRs say yes others say no). I'll wait to see if I can get more confirmation when I pick up GT5.

I'll wait for my NFS:HP order, got quite a few games to play at the moment and busy with work as well.

Hi goomba, this is the first time I am posting on CAG and I have a weird question for you: Has anyone used your services to order a kindle and ship it to Canada? I am interested in getting one, but Amazon's shipping estimate for Canada is in January whereas to the US, it is still shipping next day.

hey goomba any word on order 1694982000? First time user so im not sure if i had to do anything besides place the request ands tuff

Hi geophilips,

I'm ordering a kindle 3 wifi through goomba for the same reason you mentioned. I ordered during the weekend, it is on the way to goomba now. Since you get free shipping from amazon go goomba, the total cost of going through goomba's package forwarding service should be similar to ordering from amazon directly from Canada.

Hey goomba, just wanted to get an update on my order (#1825365543). Its been in the orange status for about a week now, so was just curious.

Thanks as always!

While your at it, can you give a status update on order #53200386, goomba? I am thinking it should have arrived from Amazon by now, and don't want it to get lost in the Black Friday insanity that is sure to be coming.

geophilips, yes in fact we've sold 2 Kindles (Wi-Fi Models) this week alone. They're very popular :) We have 2 day shipping from Amazon to us and about one week from us to you. So about two weeks round trip from us to you total from order to delivery. Thanks!

** GFC Thanksgiving Update **

OK guys, here's the deal. I'm not working tomorrow on Thanksgiving but tomorrow is our last day to clean up our old place, so I'll be spending almost all day scrubbing, vacuuming and polishing up the old apartment before turning over the keys to the landlord. After that I'm eating Thanksgiving Dinner with my family and then going to bed around 7PM. So not a whole lot of GFC stuff will be done tomorrow. To make up for that, I'm going to the UPS store one last time today before they close for the holiday and I'll process as many as possible tonight. What that means is that almost all "Shipping Soon" orders on GYROS will ship out today and the new orders (PF and DR) that I pick up today will be processed tonight and Friday. Since Friday happens to be Black Friday, there'll be a HUGE number or orders to process but as always earlier orders take priority so we'll do our best to keep up with everything.

I'll be doing GYROS updates tonight for all orders as they come in and I promise by 10:00 PM all orders statuses will be accurate and updated. I'll update you individually if I can get time to do so. For now I have to hit the road to make it to the UPS store which is about an hour from my home. Talk to you all tonight. Thanks!

emjaymy, I tried everything with UPS but they won't refund the original shipping. Turns out that the UPS store I used (Staples) didn't properly file the customs forms with the package (they're supposed to make multiple copies and such) so unfortunately since it was a pre-paid label they won't refund it. The good news is that I went with my wife to the UPS store that I use for GFC and we were able to properly file the forms (8 pages worth!) and had it shipped out today. The expected delivery date is Friday of this week 11/26/2010. That's the good news. The bad news is that it ended up costing $33+ to ship. I know you wanted it sent out UPS though.

I included your phone number, your address and all customs forms (marked at $12.15 value on customs) with detailed listings of what was in the box. I have the tracking numbers for you as well which I'll send to you via Email for your records. If it's okay with you I'll just deduct the cost of the shipping from your GFC Service Charge Credit remaining. Let me know ^_^ Talk to you soon buddy.

PS: I tried to call your cell phone at the UPS store but got your voice mail. They were closing soon though so I didn't leave a message, sorry :)

Oh that was you? Heh... I was occupied at the time but noticed an odd call... like if it was through Skype or something lol. Thanks though for the thought!
