GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Just got an email from Goomba, one of my orders was shipped, yayyyyyyyyy. I can patiently wait for the other 2, since they are not for me, lol.

Looks like it was not a good time to order from you, Goomba. I still have a bit of credit left so, I thought about using your service.

Anyway, if you can't order for me before December 22 at noon, please cancel my order.

Happy holidays to you & your family!

Just so you guys know, I'm shutting down the Package Forwarding (PF) service in an hour or less. This is to alleviate the backlog on the service. I will still offer the PF service for those of you who want to use it in the meantime but with the warning that your items may not be ship until 4-6 weeks from when they are placed. This is for two reasons. First of all I need to ship out existing orders and with the holidays, the Black Friday/Christmas rush our business has been 10x as busy as usual. Secondly, I'm working 7 days a week due to the holidays at my day jobs and my time off lately has been bringing my wife to the baby doctors back and forth and doing grocery shopping, cooking and baby preparation at home.

So again, the site will say PF is closed. It'll have a warning that if you really want to you can order with PF but it'll be approximately 4-6 weeks. This does NOT apply to orders that were placed before the PF shutdown. Keep in mind though due to the holidays and slight backlog many orders still won't ship for another week or two. We're doing our best though.

The new PF system will have you estimate your shipping and pre-pay all service charges in advance the way the DR service currently does. In addition we'll be adding more payment options on the site itself to let you have even more options. More on this in January. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go shut down the PF site :) Thanks guys.

SVxM, we are still leaving our Direct Request (DR) service open. We are just trying to improve our Package Forwarding so that it's not so labor intensive. In the past DR orders were the majority so we put our effort into that form but now PF's have largely outnumbered DR's so we need to ramp up that service. Thanks!

Hey,

I never put an official PF request in, but I think you may have my package, so sorry about that. Hope everything works out :)

JamesC_ if that's the case please submit a PF form to let me know what you have. It just makes it a lot easier, especially now that I have my wife doing the actual invoicing part for PF orders. Thanks :)

It is Done...

Package Forwarding (PF) will shut down now until 01/21/2011. You can still ship us items through the PF link but we will not be able to process them in real time for 4-6 weeks. This will NOT affect current orders with us as we'll be processing all current orders and packages over the next week or two. We'll do our best to have them all invoiced and shipped out then. We have entered all of the orders into our system but we still have to sort the packages and repackage them accordingly.

Thanks guys and Happy Holidays. The new PF system will be MUCH better I assure you ^_^. See you all in January ;)

hi goomba, my games just came in.... Thanks a ton... they beat the heavy snow too.... :)

Now waiting for an update on the Kindle 3g.

Have a merry Christmas

Hi goomba, I just saw that amazon changed the price on star ocean. That's ok.
I would like to have my 10$ credit back if it's not too much problem?
Thanks.

Hi Goomba,

Just wondering what the status is for my large Black Friday/Cyber Monday Amazon PF order(s). They should have all arrived by last Friday.
The order numbers are 1848932735 and 918506621. Thank you and Merry Christmas (or happy holidays depending on your preference). :)

geophilips, you're very welcome :) We just received about 50 or so packages so I'm assuming there's a good chance your Kindle 3G will be in there. If you have the tracking number, feel free to send it to my PM or Email and I'll look for it there =) We're also doing another UPS pickup tomorrow afternoon as well.

Porumy, In the past I already credited you the $10.00 directly off your item. You had two copies of Valkyria Chronicles if you recall which I mailed separately. They were a total of $40.00 but I only charged you for $30 which incorporated the $10.00 hope that makes sense. I have all the records if you need them. Thanks.

Leshita, we have received most if not all of your orders. I'm going to be processing them from today through Sunday so we'll keep you posted on that. How did you want us to deal with shipping them? In the past I've shipped them in groups of 4-5 pounds (depending on if you want First Class or Priority Mail) and simply invoiced them that way. Let me know and we'll accommodate you. Thanks :)

Hi goomba, it was delivered from Amazon via UPS on December 8th. The tracking number is 1Z4F940A0352619376. Amazon says signed for by Ezpinosa. :)

Hey goomba, just a quick question for you! Have you been receiving any issues of PlayStation Magazine or Official Xbox Magazine over the past couple months? I signed up for a subscription a while back and used your address as my US address (I hope you don't mind), but I changed the address instantly to my Canadian address, so I'm wondering if the address change went through on their end or not. Thanks!

game_fanatic, I believe I got one issue of the Playstation Magazine a while back but have not received any since them. So maybe your address change did go through on their end, but you just haven't received your first issues. How long ago was this? You may want to contact them :) Thanks! Happy Holidays buddy.

Actually, I ordered one copy of Valkyria Chronicles and it was worth $19.99. Your email sent an automated invoice that charged me an extra 10$.

At one point, I sent you a pm to change my shipping address.
You accidentally sent the copy of Valkyria Chronicles to my old shipping address. Then you sent one to the correct address and I received that one.

Post #7165 to #7168 and post #7122 to #7124 in this topic is what we discussed back then.

Hey Goomba,

I was wondering if you had any kind of estimate as to the status of packages received on Dec 7(Order Number: 898924450, the package is Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise Isolating Earphones). USPS says it was delivered on that date and I'm just wondering if I should receive an invoice soon(ish) so that it can be on it's way :)

Thanks!

Hey Goomba,

Just wanted to know what's going on with Order #436114367 (Kick-ass, Get Him to the Greek, Leon, New York, I Love You, and Hot Tub Time Machine). btw, I received my copy of Black Ops a week ago. Really fun game. :D

Thanks again.

Sounds good.
Whichever is easier for you Goomba. Would there be a major price difference between shipping it as separate packages as compared to one big package?

Hey Goomba how long does it usually take for someone in Canada to receive the package using the way you sent me mine? I'm not familiar with what the estimated times are with first-class international mail. I tried looking online but I see too many different answers. Starting to wish I had paid for faster shipping, waiting sucks :( If it's a week I'll manage but if it is any longer my hair will be gone :p

If it usually takes quite long and I'm talking 2-4 weeks then you'll probably receive the other 2 way before then, and I'd be willing to pay for those to get here extra fast. Would be funny to get those before the first though. I checked the bestbuy website and it no longer says sold out so maybe you will get them early next week if not tomorrow or friday. I had read that people are already receiving theirs that were originally said to backordered.

Let me know about all that! Thanks.

JamesC_, I will get to yours ASAP :) I don't have a ton of high priority orders, but I do have a lot of multiple item ones that take up a lot of room. Thanks ^_^

Porumy, okay yeah I remember that now :) It was a while back so my memory was fuzzy on it. No problem, I'll credit your account with $10.00. So if you order any items I'll just subtract $10.00 from the total (if you use a Direct Request just subtract $10.00 from the total of the item when entering it on the form).

QC8472, I believe we did receive them :) We are spending all day processing the new packages (we still have about 75 left) so we'll do our best to get them invoiced in the next couple of days. Sorry for the holiday rush, we're nearly there ^_^.

Pat_McCrotch, two of your movies were back-ordered but they just came in (Hot Tub & New York) so I'll have those out probably today or tomorrow. The US Post Offices are closed most of this weekend for Christmas but I'm trying to get as many as I can out today and tomorrow :) Thanks again.

Leshita, overall it's not a big difference. The only big difference is that sending all at once you're more likely to get a larger customs/duties tax fee due.

pyrox4, the normal time frame for First Class is 7-10 business days. Priority Mail is a little bit faster (by 2-3 days usually). Good news too...your other two phones were just delivered...YEAH! Would you like to ship those with a faster method (Priority or Express?) let me know :) Thanks my friend!

retro.elite, awesome man :) Merry Christmas! Glad they got to you in time ^_^

Goomba just let me know how much I gotta pay to get those other two asap and I will do it. I'll honestly pay for the fastest shipping as long as it's 60 or less dollars, that's how desperate I am to avoid waiting lol.

So ship it the fastest you can as long as it's below that price, then send me the invoice of the difference I need to add on top of what I already paid for! Glad you got the other 2 already. Sucks having spent so much money and have to wait, heh. So let me know asap!

pyrox4, okay I'll go invoice you right away for that. Just keep in mind shipping them together with full insurance and all means you'll likely have to pay customs, but that's just part of ordering high end items unfortunately. I should have an invoice for you in the next 10 minutes. Thanks :) The phone looks really awesome by the way ^_^.

If it costs near the same amount to just ship them both separately (at the same time) with really fast shipping then you can try that, but if it's just easier to send em both in one package really fast then do that, you probably know better than I do. Customs can't charge too much I hope.

edit: nvm saw your email, express doesn't seem so expensive, so we'll just do that.

I just sent your invoice. It's much cheaper to ship them together with Express Mail rather than ship individually if you want them quick. It's pretty affordable too. If you pay within the next half an hour I can get them out immediately today. The USPS Post Offices require Express Mail to be dropped off by 2:30 PM otherwise it won't go out until Monday due to the holiday weekend here. Thanks buddy!

Hi Goomba,

There's mix up of kindles here. :) I received a kindle 3g in the mail today, however I ordered a kindle wifi. The kindle 3g is registered to "Geo Philips". I guess my kindle wifi is still at your place.

geophilips, what would you want to do, I can:
- if you live in Ottawa area, you can come and pick it up
- If you pm me your address, I can ship it to you
- or I can ship the kindle 3g back to goomba, he'll then ship it to you

[quote name='goomba478']Porumy, okay yeah I remember that now :) It was a while back so my memory was fuzzy on it. No problem, I'll credit your account with $10.00. Okay thanks! Just wanted to remind you that's all.
Have a nice holiday by the way!

In that case send them as more than one shipment please. :)

Thanks.

qspace, thanks so much for helping me figure that out. I was wondering what was going on because the 3G and the Wi-Fi apparently have no visible difference from the packaging and there was no way to tell which was which just by looking at them (I even photographed them and they were identical) so I assumed the first two that came in were both the Wi-Fi Models. So sorry about that Geo Philips. I'll make it up to you though. I'll pay Qspace the shipping money. Just let me know how much I owe you and its yours. So sorry about that! I'll have to go through all the other boxes and see if there's another Wi-Fi Kindle. Again, very, very sorry! I guess in the future I'll have to attempt to register them to find out which ones are which? I hadn't thought about that. I'm new to Kindles I admit!

Hi goomba,

Dont worry about it... I am sure we ll be doing lots of business in the future as well so it will even iut,,,Thanks qspace too for quickly shipping it out....

No worries, Goomba. geophilips has already paypaled me the shipping cost yesterday.
The 3g kindle has a 3g icon and signal strength bar at top of screen. And kindles are already registered before amazon ship them out. You can find that info in the setting menu.

Holychristmas spirit QSpace, that's friggin awesome that you're such a humble guy -- unfortunately, there's not many in the world like that anymore.

Just made my first order in ages. My sister wanted those Power Beats By Dr.Dre headphones and they aren't available in Canada. She is super pumpd to get them!

Just received your invoice and made payment Goomba. I also just made an account on your site, not sure if you can tie it to my order now or not. Thanks again.

qspace, thanks a bunch for letting me know. It didn't occur to me to turn it on :) That makes sense that you could find that from the menu though. Thanks for the lesson. I'll try my best to locate yours and get that out to you ASAP. So sorry again, thanks a billion.

magiic, great to have you back man :) I ordered your sister's phones ^_^ A lot of the poker players I deal to use those and they have nothing but great things to say about them. They should be in any day now. Talk to you soon!

Hockridge, thanks a bunch. I will link all your orders to our site late January when we re-open the PF service. I'm going to make the service a lot more website-centric so that everything is tied together once and for all. We're getting there ^_^ Thanks again.

Hey Goombaby,

Are you shipping out that amazon cable separately from the drum sticks? The only reason I ask is because apparently Musicians Friend got the drumsticks in like 4 weeks early... So you might *crosses fingers* get them in this week.

Quick Update on GFC (Vague Update, Specific ones coming soon):

Just wanted to let you know we got a Blizzard two days ago which slowed down a lot of the post office and banks in my area. I got the newest packages and am still processing the older orders. Today I spent most of the day starting the new code for the new Package Forwarding (PF) system which will alleviate most if not all backlogs.

Tomorrow is my first day off in a week (well after 1:00 PM EST anyhow) and I have Thursday/Friday off as well). Thursday I'll be packing and invoicing and I will also pick up new packages at UPS. All PF orders that have not been invoiced will be hopefully invoiced by the end of this weekend. Those of you who have multiple item orders I will begin packing as best I can and will invoice you accordingly.

The new Service Charge Credits System (SCC$'s) has been started as of today. I am doing it all in Microsoft Excel for the time being but I will slowly begin coding it into PHP on the website. More on this late January when I reopen the PF services. Thanks again guys.

I'll be updating you individually on orders starting tomorrow night. Cya soon!
