Gamespot's PS3 NBA07 review = 4.9!

I can't understand the removal of the Life as well as the commentary.. what were they thinking?

I know what they were thinking.

"Oh, you didn't have time to implement commentary? No worries. Blu Ray must get to the market ASAP!"
 
I have no idea who the market for SCEA sports titles is. I've known to steer clear of them back before the name "989 Studios" induced a gag reflex in most gamers.
 
I guess they were just trying to rush it so it was a launch game. Should have waited and made it a complete game before releasing it. You know all the idiots are going to buy it regardless which is sad.

Exactly, making it a launch title will lead to instant sales no matter how crappy it looks.

NBA 07 on the PlayStation 3 doesn't have the entertaining story mode that the PlayStation 2 version has, but it does have most of that version's flaws, and some new ones, too.

i thought 2k5 was one of the best ones. I kinda liked that simulation mode they had in that one, where you picked how many shots everybody got.
