So my buddy who manages Gamestop told me that they have a 25% off all original Xbox merchandise. I would also imagine the edge card should stack. It may be time to grab all that last minute xbox stuff you have been waiting on.
Thank OP. Ill have to head on over..I still have my HALO XBOX hooked up that I swap with my modded one on occasion. Im going through my XBOX collection this weekend and try to get the DLC before they expire. I got quite a job ahead of me! lol.
What's that about getting DLC before they expire? I recently replaced my xbox and have to redownload a bunch of DLC. Is the DLC for original xbox games going away soon? Also, would I have to pay again to download DLC onto a different xbox than I first purchased it for?

There is a GS and EB at my mall. The GS wiped out all their stuff but the EB kept some of their stuff. I ended up picking up Doom 3, XIII, Soul Caliber II, Psychonauts, and Megaman Anniversary Collection all with boxes for $31 with edge and the current deal.
In the end, does it really matter? The system is $50, and it's likely that most stores you walk into will have some units.
It would just be nice to know ahead of time if the 2nd GS link is legit for the stores it lists because I bet many of the Xbox's GS has have problems and I'm waiting for pricedrop. Having more options would be good.

I am picking up X-men Legends 1 and X-Men Legends 2 in the coming week...my buddy at Gamestop was nice enough to hold them for me. Box and Manual for both included...should run a total of 6.00. Can't beat that.
35% off (with Edge) is decent, but not much Xbox games left to choose from...

I think Gunvalkyrie is the only title I want... Maybe Dino Crisis 3. Heard both weren't too good though...
For the last time, this is basic math; they take 10% off then the 25%. There is a difference between this and just taking off 35%.

Not sure why you're the final authority, but I have about a half-inch thick stack of receipts that proves otherwise.

With the GB 75% off clearance, I bought several hundred games and it was ALWAYS 85% off with Edge.

Example:
Pokemon Blue $2.99
Disc: 2.24 Promo #5961
Disc: 0.30 Edge Card 10%
Final price: 0.45

That's 85% off.

It's the same thing with the coupons. Edge and discount both come off the original price. Not one, then the other.

Dude, you are wrong. Look at the receipt sometime. They take 10% off the base and 25% off the base. It is basically 35%. If I had an EDGE card still I would just go out and purchase something for the pure fact to scan it and prove that. However I don't have an edge and I'm not spending $15 to prove a point that has been proven many times over. GameStop discounts and trade-ins always go toward the base price.

EDIT: Damn it, it's early and I didn't even scroll down past that to see someone else already stated it. Stupid me not reading the thread all the way through. Whoops. Oh well.

The problem with this sale for me is that it always turns into "buy back all the games you once owned, sold on ebay, and are now feeling nostalgic about".

For whatever reason I wanted to play Aggressive Inline yesterday, but ended up grabbing
Shenmue 2
Serious Sam
LOTR: The Third Age
Aggressive Inline
Manhunt
Metal Arms
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (D'oh, not backwards compatible like I had pretended)

Is there a chance that the clearance will drop to more than 25% sometime soon? I am mighty tempted to buy Futurama for $19.50 before tax, but if it went to 60% after EDGE, $12 really couldn't be beaten.

Looks like the percentage might be coming up today. They removed the 25% from the website so it might be getting upped.

Come on 50% and include the system

Your math ONLY applies to online orders and CAG16+EDGE. It does not apply in-store. Where did this rumor come from so that now everyone is spouting it off as fact?

Does CAG16 even work anymore?

Well they put the 25% back up on the site, false alarm.

For collecting purposes, sure, but not to play. I tried it and thought it was one of the worst games I'd played on OG Xbox.

Just used the instore search on the KoTOR games and they are drying up fast, I might just have to get them with the 35% :( I'd rather do that then have to drive all over the state looking for them.

dallascowboys, it's 35% in this case because in-store the computer is taking all percentages off the original price.

Did they continue the 25% off xbox games sale? It still displays on the website but the code XBOXUSED25 doesn't work and I haven't checked in store yet.

local stores are starting to dry up fast. seriously, at least a quarter of the remaining games were old sports games at this point at the store i was at yesterday...

My store had some decent games left, though I have to admit I know next to nothing about original xbox games(=/). I picked up bloodrayne 1 & 2, riddick, jade empire and syberia(looked interesting). I already have KotOR but have never played and I couldn't find either oddworld game. I beat stranger's wrath before, haven't played the other one. Should give me a reason to hook up my xbox and play some games on it. Bought it used a few years ago and have barely touched it. I got psychonauts in a b2g1 deal earlier this year, and had already beaten that last year too.

Picked up Ninja Gaiden Black, Otogi 2, Galleon, Syberia, Brotherhood of Steel and Kotr2. Was hoping, as others were for a 50% off, but I guess 35% will have to suffice since local gamestops are pretty barren as is I figured may as well pickup what I can.

Luckily I was able to pick up the last 2 disc Shenmue II today in very good shape, very hard to find around here, stores seem to have very slim stock right now, maybe some shipments are being moved from one store to another.

Still holding off on picking up KOF:Neowave/2003/2. A couple of GS still have them in stock, but I might just pick them up before they're gone. They're already down to $8 & $9 before the discount, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for additional markdowns.

has anyone been able to use the code XBOXUSED25 on the web site? they have some stuff i want to order on there but when i put the code in it doesnt take anything off.
Is KOTOR better on the Xbox or PC?
Far better on PC... it's patched, and the graphics/load speeds are much better. The Xbox version is kinda buggy.
