Gamestop - 50% off Xbox games

Sorry, couldn't find mention of this anywhere.

On the website, it says 50% off all preowned Xbox games, but I couldn't find any details about this anywhere.. Anyone have info about it?

All original XBox titles are 50% off.

This deal has been going on for who knows how long.
 
oh nm, i just thought it was weird since some games were $20 which would mean they were 40 before and i thought that was strange for old xbox games

I'm pretty sure the 50% off is B&M only so the prices you see online are not adjusted. GameStops are getting rid of their Xbox stock which is why they no longer accept trade ins for it. All my local GS's no longer carry Xbox games, but you should check some around you. There are a lot of gems to be had at cheap prices.

It's not, it really has been going on for 2 years, ever since they consolidated their XBX games to specific stores in each district.
 
One REALLY good thing they do is put "BC" on games the 360 will play. As many problems as Gamestop has, they deserve kudos for this.
 
wish this was online too, they have KOTOR 2 and Battlefront 2 for $20 each, and I couldn't get them to work on the bogo yesterday

They've been 50% off for a few months now. Prior to that they were Buy 1 Get 1 Free, and prior to that B2G2, and B2G1. Still waiting for a straight 75% off.

I did! (Sorry, just wanted to say that.)

I too wish it was also online, because the gamestops around me have no xbox games anymore... (Nor do they have original gameboy games that are supposedly 75% off)

Other than calling 100 stores to find out, is there any way of finding out which are the stores that still have them?

I tried using the search engine on the site and all that did was send me to a couple of stores that had stuff 'in stock' only for me to get there and the employees tell me that the xbox stuff was shipped to another store (which they obviously dont know which one) a long time ago.
 
Just wanted to give a heads up, the store near me that had the most xbox games threw out all their cases and now have a thing full of disks in cases by the register, not sure if this is a local thing or soon to be everywhere, just a heads up if you are looking for complete xbox games.
 
If you are as cheap as me, then you could try ordering online, then do a return and repurchase in store. The only problem is you will almost certainly be getting disc only and the GS employee will probably hate you for it.
