Anyone else run into this? In all the years I've shopped at GS this was a first for me I was overlooking my receipt and noticed a B2G1 on it, tits an actual code with a UPC. Thought I'd post for anyone who cares

What'd you buy?

If it's GTA V at midnight, they're giving away B2G1 coupons for pre-orders that are picked up within two days.

I got games from the 50% off bin I didn't pick up my GTA copy yet. I didnt want to wait in that crazy line so I told them I'd get it tomorrow

Hmmm, did you pre-order and pay it off? I heard they may have pre-processed your transaction so you can just go in and pick it up.

I did pre order it and gave it paid off that could be the case although its not on my receipt for the game could've been an error or they gave me the code because they seen it on my account

No after I had to wait in the line for 15 minutes to buy the games I was kind of annoyed and told them I wasn't gonna pick up my order tonight. It was so packed outsider and inside of my gs

Your GS sounds like they're not very organized. Mine was handing out numbers to people when they prepaid/bought their copies before midnight. Then starting at midnight, they would let 10 people in the store at a time. After those 10 are done, they'd let in the next 10, based on number. From the number, everyone could tell exactly when it would be their turn. Pretty efficient, imo.

 
I shopped there yesterday. I did not preorder GTA V, and I do not have said promotion on my receipt.

You used your PUR card, right? So your transaction was tied to your account. Sounds like you got it for preordering GTA V. Either that, or your clerk was stupid or you got lucky.

I have one as well after picking up my copy of GTA5 from the midnight release. But sadly I won't be using it anytime soon. I'm willing to trade it for a $10 dollar gamestop gift card.
