Since I would be paying with giftcards anyway, this essentially drops the price of a used ps3 by 50 bucks, but used consoles...yikes.

Right? I've been trying to figure out what to do with my broken 60GB launch model PS3 that's sitting in my basement. I don't have the heart to sell it, hoping I could get it repaired at some point (it's the drive board that's shot, something that's not a common fix) but I doubt Sony will touch it since I had a 3rd party shop open it up and diagnose it.

Anyways, apologies for the offtopic. I agree, I'd be a bit leery about used consoles at this point...
 
Well, I've been considering a Wii recently anyways, so I might just use this. But want to see what Nintendo says at their conference first.
 
Hoping for next week to be free gift card with used portable consoles. Been searching for a PSP Go, preferably for less than ~$80 when factoring in a gift card offer.
